Pathetic compared to Halo 3, Mass Effect, GoW, and Bioshock (timed-exclusive, but was an exclusive still). Same goes for Motorstorm which scored worse. Resistance 2, Motorstorm pacific rift, Littlebigplanet, Killzone 2, coming out this year. I said in my eyes, the only one I'd personally want to play is GOW2, im not speaking for others. Next year GOW3, MAG, Gran Turismo 5, SOCOM, Tekken 6, Infamous(?) more that I cant think of right now. The FF card fails, both because its childish and no one really gives a [cabbage] because PS3 has such a good line up anyway, besides FF13 vs will be PS3 exclusive anyway. Im not denying that the 360 has great games coming up, im just saying that PS3 has more. As for the cost, factor in the cost of live for the next few years, like I said. PS3 actually has many great exclusives coming out in the near future. The only Xbox one to really get excited in my eyes about is GOW2. PSN is definately not as good as Xbox live, but its free and it gets the job done. The online play is just as smooth as Live. The only real difference in online play is there are less options for interacting with freinds. Also not everyone has a headset, though you might see this as good or bad. The marketplace is definately not as good though, but there is some good content to be found. PS3 actually ends up cheaper now; the base unit is £300, but then you have to factor in the cost of live for the next few years or whenever the next gen of consoles come out. Also your getting a blueray player, but until they replace dvds its not that great. That said now that the format war is over Blue rays are finally starting to come down in price. If your going to get one wait a while, because Sony is bringing out an 80Gb model soon for the same price as the 40GB, though its not too difficult to install your own hard drive. As for this thread becoming fanboyish, one can prefer one system over another, and persuade another person to buy that system, without being a fanboy, its the guys that give one-sided blatant flamebait posts that are true fanboys, ala Do you know anything? I check up on a couple of gaming sites frequently. PS3 owners are so excited because Bioshock is coming out on October with a couple of "special Trophies" . So when giving advice on this thread, include at least a couple of other points of veiw.

This is from a level three clue, from an Ankou. It involved several trips about, a puzzle, and 2 trips to the wildy. Plus some were Uri clues. I think its come to something when you actually make a LOSS on a level 3 clue. I lost money due to the junk i had to buy for the Uri clues, and the reward didn't even cover the teleport runes. I know that its luck and everything so fairplay, but I think it should be standardised so you get at least 50k or something from a lvl 3 clue.

I know this isn't really the place, but theres a trophie for PS3 on Warhawk where you litterally have to destroy a fighter jet by piloting a drop pod directly on top of it. I mean wtf.

Pipeline sabotage seems to nearly always end quickly

I dont like sabotage because 9 times out of 10 your team just camps for kills rather that try and destroy the target. Just now I was playing it and my team had about 120 kills compared to the other teams 70 or so. Then we lose because they plant the bomb, and me and one other person try and defuse it. The rest of the guys dont even move. This was in ambush, btw, and we had 3 people camped in the building on the right, on the side with the shacks. Ffs. Didnt help that one of the enemies had a turbo controller and was spamming 50.cal shots.

Stronghold 2. Probably the worst sequel i've played.

Stopping power is neccesary in anything but hardcore seen as almost everyone else takes it, and if they dont they normally take juggernaught, and stopping power cancels out juggernaught. stopping power... on a shotgun? is he serious? i use W1200m, grip, juggernaut, and last stand and I'm beasting people Juggernaught/noob I dont have an issue with seen as stopping power cancels it out. Last stand is just annoying, not because you ever die from it, but because someone will shoot them on the ground so you lose the kill. There are much much better third tier perks.

I felt really sorry for the fat kid in Lord of the Flies, especially when they stole his glasses to make fire and he couldnt see a thing without them.

Wasn't it announced that GoW3 and KZ2 won't be released til next year? Killzone 2's out in february 2009, GOW 3 hasnt been given a date but i'd guess fall next year.

Who ordered the sony fanboy =/. Its true that Gears 2 is basically gonna be the first with some improvements like new online modes, but isn't that pretty much what any good sequal is?

The M60 has probably the worst iron sights in the game, which rules out a grip. With RDS it's passable but the recoil is insane. I fell that the SAW is too weak with the amount of people who take juggernaught. I sometimes use it for suppressing fire against camping snipers. The RPD is all round the best LMG I think. With a grip theres little or no recoil even in extended bursts, and the iron sights are fine.

The first France joke was funny, I didnt literrally LOL, but I could see that it was humourous. You can take political correctness too far, and if you genuinely feel that strongly about that jokes i'd say that you werent in you're right mind. You're bound to piss people off. Jagex dont seem to give a damn about rule one, someone I know made an account for a joke and went around swearing for a week. He said stuff like c**t and for each offense he was given 0.1 black marks, and he told me a few weeks ago that Jagex repealed all his black marks and he's now back in the green zone. Zoo Tycoon 2. Loved the first one and its expansions, hated the new camera and tools in the second. It concentrated too much on first person veiws of the aimals and felt nothing like the first one.
