  1. A problem I have with Nintendo is how the "Nintendo seal of quality" means nothing anymore.
  2. Uncharted's going to be one of the new PS3 classics/platinums that are being released in august, so it'll be half price.
  3. Chains of Olympus is one of the best PSP games. Battlefront 2 was good on PS2, havent played the PSP version but its probably just a port. There's many ports of PS2 games, so if you enjoyed them you might want some for PSP. For future games theres Resistance: Retribution, which is a Resistance game for the PSP. Its like a year away though. Not sure what else is coming up apart form some ports.
  4. Probably MGS4, Resistance 2, Uncharted, SSBB and maybe Grid.
  5. Jagex were probably afraid they would get beaten up by RS players angry over the RWT updates. I can just imagine someone 300-kicking Andrew in the chest over that. "Mr Gower any plans for adding free trade or the wilderness back into the game?" "No, sorry. With all the time we spent creating the alternatives like the grand exchange it would be madness." "Madness?"
  6. Play One Shot, One Kill and No Fighting in the War Room... You will die in real life :? I've managed One shot, One Kill on hardened, but theres a big jump from hardened to veteran I think.
  7. The whole "console wars" thing is just dumb. Seriously just enjoy w/e console you have, who cares which has sold more, and the end of the day it means nothing, it's not like any of the 3 companies are gonna go bankrupt or pull the console. This generation there is no prospect of any consoles dying like the dreamcast did, and to some extent the gamecube. So I think this thread should become a discussion for FFXIII because at the moment its inciting flaming between PS3 owners and Xbox360 owners.
  8. I've only done a few missions on veteran but the one with the tv station in was rock hard (the one on broadcast).
  9. Yeah its just about the most confusing storyline ever. The fact that everyone's names are similar doesn't help lol
  10. You don't have to use windows live and I never have. :| Some games only allow windows live.
  11. No, just the 4 weeks it takes for Microsoft to replace it.
  12. They "lost" Bioshock? It's already on the PC. And you act as if compressing your game is a bad thing. Sorry but Blue-ray does seem to make some developers lazy by not compressing audio and/or video. Compressing results in loss of quality. You do make a good point about Bioshock, actually not a whole lot of games are 360 exclusive, games like GOW and Mass effect are available on PC.
  13. [hide=E3Spoiler]New Halo. Source: http://multiplayerblog.mtv.com/2008/07/ ... -new-halo/[/hide] "Can porting be considered developing?" That guy said it right.
  14. Bioshock will be the same game or better because it wont need to be compressed like FF13 will for the 360. Final Fantasy 13 versus will be exclusive to PS3. -.-
  15. They have fixed it you fool. With the new models. Was fixed ages ago .. -.- The new falcon motherboards helped, but the RROD still happens. Not much was done about the inadequate cooling system. -.-
  16. Its been ported due to the 2nd one being on ps3. You mean FF13 versus?
  17. Id probably say PC if it wasnt for Microsoft's new crappy Windows Live service. This isnt the 360 ffs. So i'll have to go for PS3. It will win in the end when the 360 stagnates and people get bored of the Wii. Not that they're [cabbage] consoles or anything, all have they're good points.
  18. I think it should stay the same price but seriously work on removing hardware failures like the RROD, and add a bigger hard drive. The standard PS3 has twice as much. I think people would be more than willing to pay extra for that.
  19. The 360 version will be a port. It will have to be compressed losing graphical and sound quality, either that or on 6+ discs. 360 recently lost Bioshock to PS3 too though. This thread might become flamebait to fanboys of both systems, every thread on IGN has.
  20. Microsoft's presentation was one of the worst ever. The avatars are raped straight from Miis & Home. They even look like Miis with their cartoony style. The only saving graces were GOW3 and FF13 being on 360. Its a pity seen as ff13 could have been a whole lot better on Blue ray. Well I suppose it still might be, the 360 version might be a cheap multi-disc port. Square Enix is a [bleep] who'll do anything for money, I wouldnt be surprised. Nintendo's wasnt great either, the wii music looks pretty mediocre. GTA DS might be interesting.
  21. 3 is a prequel set during the cold war, so on a timeline it would be 3,1,2,4. There are 2 other games called Metal Gear 1&2 which were released in like 1989 for the NES or something, so they come before MGS1, but you dont really need to know about them to understand the story.
  22. Or someone cuts it down with a gun, Crysis style. Or knifes it down Bad Company style.
  23. Removing the ability to click on other peoples familiars/pets. So annoying at the GE, and banks and crowded places in general.
  24. They did it for the LULZ. In all seriousness this was could be unintentional, after the HD beta it may be changed back.
  25. I think Microsoft has the weakest line up this year, the only "massive" games are GOW2 and the new Halo rts thing. Nintendo has already released their own "massive" games like SSBB and Mario kart. I think Sony's looking best this year.
