Finally a topic about bodybuilding, Ive been doing it for about a year now and its really great. Its made me feel more healty, boosted my self asteem, and made me stronger. If anybody needs a GREAT beginners giude pm me and ill get it to you, it has everything you need to know and its what i used when i first started out. i started out, 15 years old, 115lbs, and i could only bench about 65 now im 16 years old, 145lbs, and i can bench about 150 If anybody has any questions ask here.
  6. A new version of opera has been released and its FREE! Read below. Woe this thing owns ff, its sooooo dang fast and it looks great. download now, http://www.opera.com
  7. No its not working out at all, first off it would be a pain to code. Second of all the text in the navigation HAS to go (its hard to read). Third of all using that font only is very repetitive and its not working out. Fix those things and it will look great.
  8. sorry but im not a big fan of it, i like the logo but its really repetitive, and its sort of plain. Im a template guy myself, so im not trying to bash it or anything im just giving my honest opinion. as for c/c i would reccomend, [wagon] more content space, a small box wont cut it, add more colors to really bring it out, and add some depth to it, it looks really flat right now. `Bones
  9. thanks for the comments, anybody else?
  10. thanks man, the bunny one is a new style i got into (to get away from the whored grunge brushing + render).
  11. well i havent posted here in a while so i decided to post some of my newest work here. note: i got permission to use the stocks except for the silent hill one. Hate em or love em, c/c please.
  12. There's more to design than graphics. And AS is not harder than HTML / CSS/ Javascript to learn. I picked it up in less than a day. Another month later I was making games in it. Another month and I probably could've bee capable of creating decent flash "websites" which would take a lot more time and skill to make using raw web languages. And you need good graphic skills for HTML websites aswell you know. Most flash "websites" are bloat features which do nothing than increase "wow factor". That's the only thing which makes them "harder" to create. Strip out all the bloat features and you got what? A background, a few buttons and some text. And another thing, is you are required to load the entire flash movie whether or not you want to. That itself is a very big design flaw. Flash Movie != Website* But whatever floats your boat I guess. *Where website is a collection of HTML pages. Thats true, flash sites are pretty much just to "wow" you, but some sites need to wow their customers or fans. Thats why you see movie sites, band sites, and some webdesign sites made in flash. On the other hand sites witha ton of content and stuff are better off with html/css. ~scorp
  13. its arial, but yes i added texture to the brushes but only the default photoshop ones. The only reason why defaults are hard is because you cant just randomly brush everywhere and have it look good, it takes alot of time.
  14. Inspiring: http://www.e-creative.net/enter.asp http://fcukstar.com/ http://dis-vision.com/ and last but not least, you need to check out all these winners at the may 1st reboot: http://www.may1reboot.com/index_flash.html
  15. Ok before you say "oh this is the average randomly grunge brushed sig" its not. I only used default brushes (when you click reset in the brushes menu). Its not my best but it did take some time, i was mainly experimenting with default brushes and coloring techniques. and if you say defaults are easy, they ARENT thank you, ~Scorp
  16. Great job nadril, the only think is you cant really see the animation, i had to focus on the render for like 10 seconds before i could see it.
  17. No a sig isint harder than making and coding a professional template. I was trying to say id much rather create on a big enviroment than work on a 150x300 little rectangle. When tryed to apply to an arts school last year they didnt even glance at all the sigs i made, they look for the bigger works of art.
  18. Ok ive decided to stay away from sig making and move on to more challengeing things. So i decided to make website templates. The first one is a soft grungy neutral portfolio template. http://static.invivo-host.com/temp2.html For the second i decided to try and make a professonal clean looking hosting template, and it was alot harder. http://static.invivo-host.com/images/hosting.png I know the second one is a little skinny and needs a banner, ill finish that soon. Please give me some c&c on these. Thanks Sk84life
  19. umm, invivo-host.com has the best ive seen so far. Please say sk84life reffered you when you sign up.
  20. 3/10 there ok for a first sig but it wasnt done very well. It looks like it took about 2 mins. Try to get some new fonts, and save as png or gif.
  21. lol i just looked up stoked and you are right we have a very similar style. And i think your right it shouldnt just be all cluttered together without any focus point. Thanks for the suggestions.
  22. today i was bored so i decided to make a few quick sigs. I think they turned out pretty well. What do you think? If anyone wants the first one You can have it. Just tell me what you want it to say.
  23. 7/10 nice, except it looks like you always use the same brushes and style.
