  1. no, i'm l o ling at the money i made from divorce settlements
  2. quest cape is lame reward -.- i just brought this irl : [hide=epic item!!]   so amazing ;)[/hide]
  3. i agree, getting all my combats 60+ in ftp was annoying, ice giants always so busy :wall: although, flesh crawlers, zombies or spiders in stronghold are decent xp : before roaches came out, ftp training was [cabbage], in busy worlds, after new player safety dungeon i almost lived at roach soldiers  and before i forget... welcome to the forums!! :
  4. To be more accurate, no-lifing is when you're a zombie. 8-) No, actually you're wrong, anyway. Grinding is when you train through constant repetition. "No-life" refers to neglecting other activities outside the game to play Runescape (or a similar game), especially when grinding. It's entirely possible and very common to grind without "no-lifing". yes, grinding would be same skill non-stop when your on runescape in spare time no-lifing would be missing work/daily shower/social events to be on runescape :? (why would anyone do that!? #-o )
  5. i always found roaches to have decent xp/drops in ftp seeing as I trained to 90+ combat there although the soldiers are definitely better drops wise, workers would be faster at your level and the fact that the dungeon is normally empty is good thing, more kills for you ;)
  6. read tc's original post... to clarify, he argues the point it causes you to hit lower damage than normal str boosting armour which is true unless you wield a gs and use void
  7. for range yes! the accuracy/max hit booster is always handy : for melee...I'm not so sure, maybe if you use gs often then yes :? if not, I'd put time into saving for bandos armour or melee specific items, will result in higher hits and better def stats
  8. 1 off target level :ohnoes: dunno if i'll get tonight...maybe, or I'll just sleep :?
  9. they seem to be joke items, nothing in attack guide for flame swords, thankfully because they sound dreadful #-o and the idea of this [bleep]e is kind of dull, I always considered the old man more of a 'freak out' threat, seeing as he has habit of stalking/abducting/giving 'presents' to players, and a major chunk of them are under 16/18 (depends where you live) what would his mother say :shame:
  10. why? it is free craft xp and a decent profit, either sell cut stone, or make glory/tipped bolts and sell : I don't think it does much in the way of profit. Does it? The gem only sells for ~55k, so it would take 30k in items to make the c key worth it. I honestly don't care much about the miniscule crafting xp. well cash isn't everything :P and sooner or later those small amounts of craft xp will add up ;) not to mention mage xp for enchants : but for pure profit I can see your point, and i said decent, not great decent to me = above breaking even < serious head turning amounts of gold
  11. void's main strength lies within the accuracy booster and max hit booster bonuses on range(for any bows)/melee(if you have gs) but they are decent multi-purpose armour, as they incur no negative bonuses, if there actual def stats maybe lacking in areas, compared to combat style specific items
  12. Well it does, that's the meaning of the saying. "The grass is always greener on the other side" does not mean that it actually is better on the other side, rather, that you're perception of the grass is always better. You think it looks alot better until you get there, then reality sets in, and the original side looks better. Hence the "always greener on the other side". well how it was worded, without the 'always', it seemed like he was conflicting his views saying the grass IS greener on RSC, but at same time, it didn't make it better than RS2 :?
  13. why? it is free craft xp and a decent profit, either sell cut stone, or make glory/tipped bolts and sell :
  14. no, mage void has +30% accuracy bonus, last I checked  I spent week no-lifing pc to get full ranger/melee, occasionally get out my range and crystal bow for training, but never touch melee, unless I decide to go pc, mainly to show off
  15. You had me laughing for a minute there. BTW i didnt click the link because i recognise the link and where it leads too. :-# i recognized the link and clicked anyway :? that song is great!! :  OT: this is totally a fake, a good reason why you can't let noobs get bored of complaining, unless you want a quick laugh
  16. 67/69 smithing now, hoping for 69 tonight (again  )
  17. The topic, in my opinion, should have ended with this very first post. to be honest thread should just end here, it a game, play it how you want, as long as you don't break the rules :wall:
  18. 30 quests to go, and 222 qp down : try get 69 smith tomorrow, 2 days late....then another easy-ish quest
  19. a double update, don't say I don't do anything for you ;) then I carried on devious minds, until I needed large rc pouch :wall: got this in process but still no pouch #-o gf jagex =D>
