Got 99 MAGE YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!! and finally got full Bandos with gs \ [no advertising illegal products - mrmyk]

Mining (apart from firemaking) has definitely been the most unfairly treated skill. I use to mine alot, then all the prices went down and their was more money to be had from other skills so i moved on, I really see no point of using the skill to make money unless you are mining gold in the azarian mine or rune in the heros guild. What it needs is a dragon pick that makes a significant difference to the skills speed, i mean, if they released a dragon pick i most likely would get back into the skill, but i dont think its going to happen. Its even against the forum rules to post anything about in the upcoming updates/suggestions forums.

My opinion is that the ring does not work for those 'super-rare' drops, only for the less rare ones. Which is definetely true, for example: Try joining a high level or experienced God Wars team and say 'is it ok if i bring my wealth?' They will almost always say no, this is because the wealth increases those less rare drops, and those high ammount coin drops. Go kill Grandor with your wealths on, and see if you are getting a unusual ammount of his 20k drops, then take yore wealth off and notice the normal drops you get. My theory: It has no effect on super-rare drops, only on less rare ones like rune or the other one i hear alot is, It increases the ammount of coins you get, which is bad, because the coins could be replacing a rare drop that you would have got without the wealth on.

Coming back from godwars i was passing through my house and mis-clicked on the stairs and discovered....get this......nothing! this was not edited or anything, when you examine it it says 'There's nothing there'

Um actually, without smithing there would be no cannonballs in the game, and most rune items, mainly kites and scimmies are player made, it also gives use to the mining skill aswell...

-in castle wars- -piled by >60's- -killed them all- -they come back- -2 120+ guys armadyl spec me and i die- -the >60 noobs all say 'haha' or 'owned u noob' when they didnt even deal damage and im double their level- this actually got me really angry so i added them all and hunted them down the whole game lol.

I have to agree, every time i get a random im lucky to get a sapphire, im always getting like 20 coins or something, but i do all my alching in godwars so i never get randoms when i alch.

The obvious choice is firemaking, But its not like the skill dosn't have potential, i mean they could update it so you can use firemaking to make 'fire arrows' from the underground pass quest, i guess they could cause burn damage similar to poison. but that would be too good of an update for jagex to consider :mrgreen:
