I see why people think it's the new skill, and I do, to, but why is everyone stuck on the idea that th new area is going to be the ONLY place to train it? That would be idiotic. More than likely it's a tutorial/starter quest, like the Herblore and Summoning quests.

what makes you say its gonna be f2p? if you think so because its in f2p wildy thats not true: the Summer quests and corporeal beast are also in f2p wildy but are p2p The dialogue to the npcs in F2P is exactly the same as in P2P, if it was members only the npcs would either not be there or just say that it is a members feature much like all the other p2p updates in f2p areas. Have you tried this out yourself with a char. that hasnt done any Fremmenik quests or completed the trials on F2P because it wouldnt make sense if your char. referenced something it hasnt done yet?? I just went down on my F2P noob, and the conversation is exactly the same except the two texts mentioning the fremennik trials. I couldn't be bothered copying the whole text again so i'm just going to show the conversation i already made as it is for F2P. [spoiler=F2P conversation (long image)] Did the use of they in the dialogue when Hilda says "Quiet, Torsteg. They came..." jump out at anyone else? Makes me think there maybe something else there, as it wouldn't be too hard to determine if our character is male/female and change the dialogue accordingly... :-? It could just mean they didn't wanna bother with "he/she came" changes.

Only the rare drops get recorded. Unless I miss something, how do you know how many kills were performed before the drop was dropped? You're missing something. It tells you how many times you've killed a certain boss monster. Example: "I killed 11 Kree'arra's." It doesn't tell you you got the drop, there's a seperate log for that.

Would killing baby blacks be the same basic setup, minus antifire potion?

I believe you can charge more for your hexcrest if you put up "junk", like unstrung bows (willow or maple, probably) to make your trade worth more. I'm pretty sure that's what junk trading is.

So, just wondering, is the Tip.it guide up to date or are there better items/equipment I could take? I have a black drag task and I plan on doing some (or possibly even all) of it here. I don't have a black mask or slayer helm, but otherwise I think I'm set. Just to make sure: 79 Attack 78 Strength 79 Defence 75 Ranged 85 Mage 54 Prayer 51 Summoning, but I can get 52 for terrorbirds if needed.

Barrows is good, and the runs are fairly quick.It's very good if you can manage to get lucky and get a barrows item, I think you still manage to profit without one though with the bloods and deaths.

A grizzly bear is probably my weight, though I doubt I could take him. I could probably take a shark though, I'm a good swimmer and I float.
