  1. So then Yaks sound like the easiest way for me. What should I use there, knives, arrows, bolts?
  2. So it seems that Fire Giants in the Waterfall dungeon are highly recommended. Thanks guys, I'll get to work. Feel free to keep posting, I'm still checking up on this every so often, thanks!
  3. I've decided it's time I wear some Black D'hide (or Karils  ) and I was wondering where the best place to train range was, mines 64 atm. I've been to the Fire Giant lair in the wilderness, but I can't find any safe spots and killing them toe to toe is a waste of food imo. Any help, ideas or hints would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :D
  4. My ultimate goal right now is to kill a God Wars Dungeon boss. I'm wondering at what attack/strength/defence level etc. that I could even consider taking it on with a 4-6 man group (me included). Odds are I'll start out with a larger group to get the hang of it, but with more people you get less loot : Thanks
  5. Thanks! That means I'm close to haflway done then, I've got 14 tasks and 140 points under my belt :D
  6. I'm trying to get the slayer helmet and I'd like to know how many slayer tasks it will take to accumulate 400 points, if I'm taking tasks from Chaedler (spelling?). Thanks
  7. Dang I've been F2P for too long, thanks Bunker_Boy, I would have wasted my time going for a plain old Salve Amulet just to find it's not as good as the Glory. Well thanks everyone, feel free to keep posting
  8. Cool, thanks you guys  I've got the FoG tokens to get dragon gauntlets so that's what I'm going to do for the glove department. I think fighter torso, torag's legs, black mask, whip, rune defender, dragon boots, obsidian cape and amulet of glory/salve depending on what monsters I'm slaying. Feel free to continue suggesting or to improvise my current armor set-up. Thanks :D
  9. I finally got a membership again =D> and I was wondering what the best armor/weapon is for slaying. Right now I only have 5.5M but as my slaying progresses and I start getting into the monsters with GOOD drops then I should start making some more money. Currently my goal is to slay and Abyssal demon, so that's how long I plan on slaying, maybe even longer. Thanks
  10. Ways of making money are usually directly porportioned with your skill levels. If you are feeling adventurous and have decent combat stats, then I'd reccomend slayer. It starts slow but mastery of the skill can be very rewarding. Along the combat line, the Barrows is where I made my first Million, and earned about 8M total from it, but it's always at a high risk. On a less dangerous note, there are still the old F2P skills, but with many new ways to train them. As you said, you were a smither in F2P, well that would work in P2P too, but (assuming you have a decent mining level) you'll find a lot of mining areas more deserted in P2P worlds than you would have in F2P worlds, so you could mine yourself some ores and sell them for a little more diversity in your runescape career. Fishing is more deserted in P2P worlds also, Woodcutting offers many new trees, and areas to woodcut. Herblore can lead to some very good money, with time and effort. Although these are opinions from a retired P2Per, and I may be a bit out-dated in the best moneymakers, I'm sure you'll have no trouble in getting some cash P2P. Hope this helps, and good luck!
  11. Using Full Sara' as a skilling outfit is a horrible idea. Traditional skilling outfits are incredibly, under 10KG so you can run for longer. Here are some ideas you could use: o Any set of random event clothing, mixed and matched together. You can use holiday items as well. o Either Wizard Trimmed or Gold-Trimmed. Buying it as a full set or without the hat is up to you, I bough mine without the hat. o For a weapon, use the Toy Kite or the sword from "The Knights Sword". Shield is optional, I use Training Shield because it goes with the rest of my outfit  Then I think I have a very different idea of what skilling is than you do. I meant I wanted something to wear when mining, woodcutting, smithing and such, where running saves, at best, 10-15 seconds off the commute from resource to bank. And thanks for all the ideas you given me  I think I'm going to try all of them and see which suits me best, maybe even mix and match a couple. My private chat is always on, feel free to give me a "hyt" anytime :D
  12. I'll try that out, thanks. And I'm still open to sugestions :D
  13. I've been in and out of that for a while, that and full saradomin is what I've been using.
  14. This possibly may be the weirdest question you're going to find on this forum but...I need a new outfit for skilling, and I'm F2P. 1.2M is the limit, although I could scrounge together anther 500k or so if I tried. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  15. I know that the old Tip.it clan chat was "lightning" chat name, but it's not there anymore...where'd it go? I see the new one is the "hyt" chat name, but no-one is ever on that one, so is there another one that I'm missing? And if anyone knows, I'd like to know why "lightning" chat is down. Thanks
  16. 792/99  (yeah, it goes that high) amazing achievement, you are the COMBAT MASTER!
  17. OH MY GOD....phr33 st00f pl0x?
  18. I......Hate.....You.... You're too lucky for your own good, boys, take him out! Here I am sitting on a measly 5M while noobs like you make more than that a day. It sickens me... (But congratulations =P~, sweet levels too)
  19. Ewwww....you're wearing a skirt in all those pictures  Lol, just kidding, amazing levels, I give it a 12.5/10 (13 if you'd wear some pants!) Good job!
  20. Hey I'm a hard grader...and the fact that I loved training Hunter didn't help you much either, but those things aside it's still a really great achievement, even as a member, range is painfully boring for me -.-
  21. I'd give you a 8.5/10  Obviously it powns my stats, but your hunter/farming are a little low. I can understand why you wouldn't train farming, but I like hunter :D It's amazing how much you've done in 6 months though, so good job. The low hunter/farming gave you a 9/10 and the other, less important low levels (thieving/agility) is the 8.5/10. Again, good job for only 6 months!
  22. Ickdeep, where in Runescape is the picture located? I've seen a few of those pics and I'm dying to know, and nice hits everyone  OT:Hit a 25 or something like that in F2P Bh, made me happy and I got the kill \
  23. I was just checking, because I used to mage in bh (wizzy hat/top and rune legs/kite with an air staff) and I got 3 sets of rune and a couple scimmys in a few days. Then I died 3 times in a row so I gave up. I was going to go and try it again, but since my levels are so bad..... Jk, I might go back, but I'm happy as it is training, if I get in the mood I'll go and try my hand at bh again. Well thanks you guys :D
  24. Thanks for the guide, that's a lot of help :D And thanks for the reassurement there craven_range...always good to hear that
