  1. I do miss those quests but its probably a necessary loss as Jagex aims to link up in game lore.
  2. What about story-wise? What if you did that way, its cool, what you are doing to link up everything.
  3. I don't think the toolbelt has solved the issue, it only allows for bronze pickaxes and hatchets, I'm hoping they will allow for different hatchets and pickaxes. I was stunned when I saw the toolbelt, didn't know what to do with it because it just made my life a lot my convinient in RS.
  4. The merging of the worlds is interesting but I suppose one might just have to eliminate the majority of F2P and change the makeup of P2P worlds to accomadate this. I think that the problems wasn't noticed because F2P at the beginning of RS2 was not too different from P2P and the gap was small enough to keep people happy. However, the world of P2P has grown enormously since then and I think now F2P looks like a diseased limb or a stunted one that has failed to catch up. With Morytania, the Elvish lands and the Pirate stuff east of Morytania and a general expansion of Kandarin, F2P has grown to be neglected. I think F2P ought to be a sample of the game and in order to attract people, lets just do that. Let the F2P world have a little of the stuff from P2P, from a small amount of each skill and quests( mind you, better developed quests, I spent 3 months on P2P and the best part was the quests, so rich in story and action) . Let it be a sample platter of the P2P world and I think you can attract more players to P2P, the success of P2P is partly due to a good F2P game. Who would shell out money for a car when the test drive sucked?
  5. If Dominion Tower is at Kudos Isle, I will truly be disappointed because thats not what I expected. I'm expecting something to do with Zaros, not quite sure what but not a tower.
  6. Let me clarify my point. I am aware that some Dragon weapons have quest requirements for you to use them. Release it to f2p but keep the quest requirements so that most f2p who have never been members and done the required quest can't use it. Which I guess means only the Dragon 2-hander and hatchet will be available. But this may be compensated by the rise in price due to increase in demand for the dragon 2h for those members who may want to sell it.
  7. I think now we know what the strange power was all about, its only obvious to ask: What was down there that could kill Bilrach, he seems to be more powerful than Zemouregal thinks he is if he created the demon K'ril Tsutsaroth and was able to reach the rift he wrongly thought would bring Zamorak back. It opens up a whole new storyline. Who killed Bilrach? Zaros? Dragonkin? Elder Gods?
  8. Probably been mentioned before but F2P needs the following badly: 1. Let us craft Chaos runes, it is ridiculous that us mages or at least cheapskates like me cannot make our own chaos runes to train our magic, I could use Wind Bolt for all eternity if you guys let me. 2. Fletching, rangers need arrows and bows so let them make their own, same reason as letting us craft chaos runes. 3. Release some dragon weapons to the f2p, anything that doesn't require a quest to wield. We can just buy it off the GE.

    Trolls

I think I can sum it up in this one saying: You are what you eat. Hence the resemblence to their environment.
  10. Wessan and Akballer47, thats exactly how I'm playing now. Play for awhile when I have a goal( trying to cook all the swordfish and tuna I acquired during my as P2P in the managing Miscellania mini-game). Before that, 30 Dungeoneering to access the maples trees and then stopped for a while before that, just trying to find things to do on f2p that interest me. Still don't have a 99, so maybe....I'll go for that.
  11. Did it before in 2003 when I kept losing accounts to hackers but now, I play until the game ceases to exist. Plus a kind friend sponsered my 3 months stay as a member, will one day return to p2p and enjoy the full game once more.
  12. Glad to see ROTM is finally here, not going to resubscribe. No, not yet. At least not until they start selling membership cards where I live! I hope Zemouregal doesn't perish in the ritual, hopefully one of the idiots who backs Zaros.
  13. I would just bring back the old random events, since they were removed only because the bot problem had seemly died down at the time, they ought to be able to do the job again.
  14. The thing is that it does not bode well for Zamorak at this present moment, Zaros is on his way to get revenge and some of Zamorak's supposed allies are now trying to turn on him, it does mean that it'll be quite bad for Zammy. However if Saradomin decides to sit back and wait, he may find himself outmatched since Zamorak may go down too easily unless Bilrach( please tell me which of his fellow Mahjaarat are on his side) can summon something or do something to defeat Lucien who is Zamorak's biggest concern now since Zaros is not quite back and Lucien plans to overthrow him. Zaros was not liked by Saradomin in the first place and an alliance with the only other god with substantial forces would do well to keep him at bay since Zamorak seems to be a lesser evil compared to Zaros, better have a foe you can handle than one whom you fear.
  15. Now that its been revealed that the frozen door trapped the last remaining Zarosian army left in Runescape and that all four major gods at the time actually said, " Hey, lets stop fighting and put that terrifying army away and then we can settle our differences." and then trapped that army behind the frozen door, I have a question. If Zaros rises and naturally if he gets back in, tries to avenge his downfall by personally removing Zamorak from his position that was once his, would the other gods aid him? Well actually, would Saradomin and his forces come to his aid to put away Zaros and keep Zamorak on his throne. I don't read up on Runescape history but I know that since that time, Armadyl only his the people from the people in the temple of Ikov at the moment and Bandos has mostly dangerous lvl 2 or 5 goblins to call upon.
  16. Well guess I'm wrong, but Zaros isn't behind that door, yes!!!! Also, if Bandos, Zamorak,Saradomin and Armadyl banded together to seal up Nex and its cronies, would the other 3 gods aid Zamorak if Zaros tried usurp him since we know they obviously locked up all of his remaining forces together, indicating that Zaros was not exactly popular.
  17. I think it could be removed once the quest was done or once you wear the amulet, you can't do anything in the wild unless its related to Defender of Varrock.
  18. About that amulet, it will vanish once the quest is done and it's immunity will wear off if you attack a player, it only keeps you immune if you don't attack them.
  19. Well I can't say much but it'll make the wilderness what it was meant to be, for pking and more dangerous, as it should be. GE made life easier by allowing us to just put items up for sale and not having to stand around and shout out our wares or scan for the right sale, removal of price caps will make things easier, we can sell it at prices we want.
  20. Well for Defender of Varrock, couldn't Jagex add an amulet into a quest that you are given so that no player can ever attack while it is equipped? Also expanding the wilderness would be nice since well, its getting kind of cramped and part of the wildy being so thrilling was you never really knew what's going to jump out and whack you.
  21. Plus I got this from Runescape Wiki, it seems these Elder Gods created the plane Gielinor is on and then when Guthix arrived, they seemed to have departed. Now for them to just disappear is quite puzzling, why leave? Especially when all they made was perhaps the runescapian universe, I suspect someone came along and drove them out or into hiding. Perhaps it is Guthix? He seems to be very powerful and if his Edicts had kept the other gods out, why couldn't he have imprisoned the Elder Gods in that frozen door? Now I know his symbol is missing but what if the seal he had put was close to breaking and the other gods realised this and use their magic to bind it back before resuming their conflict? After all, if they had gotten out and realised there was this world they hadn't made, they might try to destroy it. And if that world was gone, there would nothing to fight over. So they teamed up and did the deed. And recalling Greek mythology, I think in some accounts Cronos was imprisoned in a cave after getting severely drunk, kind of like the Elder Gods here in their frozen door.
  22. About the Elder Gods, perhaps the current gods are not truthful about how exactly they came to this realm? What if Zaros wasn't the only god who got overthrown? Maybe Saradomin has some skeletons in his closet?
  23. What if and I am just speculating here, there is a greater evil in here, I doubt it is Zaros or any ally of his since well the evidence provided so far is pretty much against it but for if Bandos, Saradomin, Zamorak and Armadyl's forces all team up and seal off this thing then could it be a god so powerful, like close to Guthix but with more malicious intents and the four gods all agreed that it was pretty pointless to fight if there wasn't going to be anything to fight over and teamed just this once to seal off this monster.
