well mage's and rangers have the fact that they can attack from a good distance away from their target where as a melee'r needs to run up to his target to hit it. If the person runs, they can hit them anymore where as a mager/ranger can keep hitting. rangers and magers dont need super pots because it would make the combat scheme unbalanced

With a game that is constantly adding new weapons and items the old way of doing things tend to draft to the side to make way for the newer mainstream way of doing things. Soon to do anything but train the way everyone else is training becomes taboo and is frowned upon because its not seen as the best/popular way of doing it. I have seen this thru many things. Easiest to see is trading. Hardly anyone p2p (person to person) trades anymore. Even though they could potentially make more money selling its thru p2p. Point im tryin to make. The reason you dont see this combo around is the fact that the masses wont accept it. It used to be great at one point but isnt anymore. I like this combo and i was saving it for when i go str training because its a cost effective way to raise str but alot of people dont care about what is cost effect only what is accepted and is main stream. Even thought its redundant but this is IMO (I wouldnt say any of this if it wasnt my own opinion which is why i hate using that)

You would rather use something out of game that is exactly the same? That's idiotic, as making an inconvienence to yourself is really, well, idiotic. You say you love IRC, and would hate CC if it were exactly the same? That's just stupid. Almost Fanboy-ish. Jagex wont rework the interface to enable it to be exactly like IRC. So why try to emulate it? It will be a failed attempt to recreate something that people already have. I said I like IRC and I would continue to use it IF CC tried to emulate IRC. Flaw #1 in your argument. Flaw #2, who is to say thats "inconvenient". To my knowledge convinces is strictly opinionated as with something being "Good" or "Bad". So Yes I would rather use something That Is faster better and more highly used then something with is trying to emulate the faster better more highly used program. Its only 1 click away so its pretty much equivalent to the 1 extra key you have to press in order for your clan members to see what your saying. As for me being fanboy-ish. I dont use forums enough to know the exact meaning of that but I can tell you this. It doesn't matter to me either way because I dont know you and you dont know me thus this going back and forth is just stupid. =]

Yes, improving an ingame feature to be like something outside that we all love would be so terrible.[/sarcasm] This will probably never happen, but why wouldn't you want it to? So you fear originality?? Why would you want the SAME EXACT thing but with just a different name to it? For that Ill just stay on IRC (DUH) Yes while making CC something that we already like and use. I for one value originality. Just copying and pasting coding from another program to mimic it I just dont think would make it any better outside of the fact that its in-game. Point im trying to make, I want CC to be used for the features for which ITSELF only has that IRC doesnt have (outside of accepting challenges from other clans)

The fact that irc is an area you can idle and have bots which help within game questions (ie bot that shows the current price of something in the GE) is infinitely better then cc atm. It saves me the need to tele or price check. I hope cc branches off and does its own thing instead of ripping of IRC or some other internet media.

lolz I can see it now. *paints a big picture of fail* one of the main things people really look past. Is the fact that they are content enough to keep playing regardless of the changes. Its like reminiscing when gas only cost 1.98 a gallon. There was once a time for it, yes. However thats not the case now. Im not tryin to say "get used it" or any of then lackluster brain farts but rather try to convey the fact that most people still play even though one of the most appealing things about rs is gone or rather twisted and distorted. point being, Its sad but atm there isnt any pking. You can complain all you want and by your right you can complain. but in my mind. Its a waste of time. It wont do anything except see how many other people complain about the same thing.
