I always wondered whether he bought (some) rares back too. I never saw him do so and considering that prices were falling at the start of rs, I have some doubts he did, although that would have been a major mistake. Gasheart wasn't a big trader, but I'm pretty sure he had a seperate account to trade with, to get aroud his celebrity status at the time. And to the dude who said something about rune and 2001. Ever heard of Twy ? He was 83 mining already around april-may of 2001.. could easily have got 85 before rune was even talked about, but he quit. and im sure Kibble will resent what u said, him being the first rune miner and all.

hehe thanks for tip, mate :P But like I mentioned, I'm not an afk trainer. Was just wondering why the monsters were acting like they do .. i think it sucks for all i care we dont need random events, shifting screen, fatigue and what-not. all that is to prevent dishonest gaming. and no matter what, I've always played an honest game .. so really, all these things are just nuisances to players like me, who know how to play an honest game without being babysitted.

Wasn't that half the purpose of random events though ? The other half being macro catching. Randoms are part of it too. And it's not just macroers who AFK, I've even seen people openly talking about doing it on various forums. And why shouldnt they? Afk'ing has never been an offence on RS, as far as I know.

Iceys are level 45 pk level, im lvl 116 pk lvl, , and they still att me, but for only 15 mins. Its not really a help and advice topic, as I kinda forgot to post, that we should discuss wether or not its a good idea to even have this effect of 10-15 mins and than after that no aggro.. I find it rather dull, and see no reason as to why monsters suddenly should lose their aggro. Anyone else agree? All monsters no matter their lvl are aggressive in the wild. But as for the outside of the wild if you're x2 their lvl they aren't agressive. And after 20 mins any lvl isn't aggressive. :thumbsup: I beg you to re-read my post. I train at level 45-47 wilderness, at ice giants. What you just wrote says that outside of wilderness the rule applies. But obviously it applies inside wilderness as well! :)

I fail to see ho9w many so many people don't get this. He was working on digging the varrock sewers, as the story tells us. At the far end of the varrock sewers are some moss giants. He struck through and found the moss giants with a man being attacked. The man obv enter from the edgeville side or dug in from above. These lore updates I LOVE But it annoys me so how many stupid rsof threads rise from them. Eg Arrav's story got a huge thread about maybe we have to find the dwarves and get the sheild to beat the mahjaratt. Despite the glaring obvious fact the sheild became known as the shield of arrav and we already found it and put it in the museum. Or for this week theres lots of WALLY = WISE OLD MAN threads despite the fact one of the two old ladies (church and clothes store)in varrock tells us the wise old man was called dessy AND the story is a eulogy, whihc makes it clear wally is dead. Lots of players still go to elementary schools, and haven't learned to read/decipher texts properly (yet!). Thats my best guess.

Then he should click 48537 times to deposit all his cash in the bank. no buy 2500 :P so take 48537 and multiply it by 2 :o 97 074 times :o hehe yeah.. of course its not exactly a painful thing to do.. since ur making urself richer and richer , click by click :P

No my friend, this phenomenon has existed for AT LEAST several months. I usually don't pay attn to training, but I've noticed this one thing for the last coupla months. The player over monster thing is genius tho, no more chickening out when a pk'er comes along :P

Exactly. I remember there was an update, where they did exactly what you just reckoned. Something about all monsters , no matter their pk level, being aggressive once you entered the wilderness. Perhaps it was removed with Rs2 being launched ? :-\

I do practically nothing else on RS but train at iceys, level 45 wildy. After around 15 minutes I notice they lose their aggro on me. I used to think it was because of my high level, that it sort of overrided the law of monster aggro in wildy. But my low level mate told me its like that for all levels, after 15 minutes of training same spot. Is this true ? If others know more about this phenomenon would you please post more about it here? I've always hated afk training, but its irritating that you can't even post a topic on (i.e) tip.it , and not have some monsters attack your character in the meanwhile (all exp is good exp!) BYE BYEZZZZZzzzzzz
