  1. Can't believe you're drawing parallels between football and runescape.. and you claim you're mature.. get real, please, for your own sake. Are you the master of metaphors? If not kindly explain to this person why you think him comparing fair play in football and in Runescape is facetious, rather than saying 'lol u r teh stupid face'. Also mocking ones maturity level because they disagree with you isn't helpful, its' not like he said 'yeh runescape is teh football we all should be nicerer coz thats what drogba would say.' First thing, he can't possibly be drawing parallels between football and runescape , as there is no such thing as fair play on runescape. So that pretty much renders the cute story obsolete.

  3. In my six years of playing I do not recall once where I have taken other people's monsters, I always change if other people are at a certain monster. To FooK-A-Ji: Why shouldn't the rules of the "real world" apply to an online video game? Afterall, the fact that the game is played with other real people suggests that it should be. I'll use an example from a topic a couple of weeks back. If you were playing basketball in real life on a public area, but there was another free court right next to you and a bunch of people came along and started playing your court wouldn't you be annoyed? The same thing can be applied to this situation, just replace court with spiritual mages. I'm at the mages killing them, then someone comes along where there's a bunch more mages in the dungeon and loads of other worlds free but they still choose to stick around. What's the diffrence between the two examples? There isn't any difference, in both examples you're trying to enjoy something and someone else is coming along and ruining the experience when they can see that there's plenty of opportunity to be able to do what they're doing elsewhere without disrupting someone else? Fine, if all other mages were taken on the server, but they were not. I don't mind sharing as long as it's reasonable to do so. And on your cartoon comment, you act like cartoons can't be enjoyed by more mature people, you sound like one of those people that says video games are for kids when they clearly aren't, they're to be enjoyed by all ages. And for your information, I'm 18 and I often get mistaken for being quite a bit older than I actualy am. I have no idea where you got the I'm immature thing from. Yeah, I guess complaining about other people not behaving like people should behave is immature now... If you're so grown-up, you should know to be the bigger man, and step down, meaning you should switch servers. And where I got the immature thing from? Well, you're still here whining , aren't you`? You're complaining about the way YOU THINK people should behave, not how they SHOULD. Theres a big difference, now step outside of your own little head for a change, and realize that most people play this game for their own personal enjoyment, meaning they couldn't care less about you're feelings, or anybody elses, if it doesnt have a direct influence on their enjoyment. If you don't like that, than theres really nothing you can do, except find a game where the rules about manners are as strict as nazi-germany anno 1939-45. "ooh he said nazi" :o I think I speak for a lot of people when I say: What the hell were you thinking when you wrote that? I mean, it's a game. Football (soccer for Americans) is a game, yet when a person is down injured they kick the ball out. They realize someone is down, hurt, so they do the mature thing. In all technacalities they dont have to. They could take it from the injured player as hes on the ground in pain and score. But they don't, they are human. Don't be oversensitive. If you failed to understand the post, you shouldn't answer at all. If you can't even cope with reading the word "nazi", you shouldn't be privy to see anything except teletubbies and bananas in pyjamas. And where are you going with your football story ? Who here is "hurt" or "injured"? NOBODY!!!!! Theres just a whiner whining about the game not going the way he wants it to go.
  4. 1) I did change servers, I don't see what your point is there, everyone seems to be ignoring that fact. 2) I play this game for own personal enjoyment too, now why should I have to put up with my personal enjoyment ruined by someone else? Yes, we are ignoring that fact, but we aren't ignoring the fact that you're here ranting about it. No one forced you to leave server, honestly, now did they? Perhaps you felt forced, but theres also a difference there, a big one. You claim to play this game for personal enjoyment,. Than why don't you instead log out of the game, once it starts not being enjoyable. You don't have to put up with it, you can simply log out  You must be a sucker for punishment..

  6. No, I have not. Yes, there are such things as manners. I remember being taught them in pre-school and from my mother. I'm not sure whether you learned manners, but I sure as hell did. Yes, rude people will always be around, but this does NOT exempt them. Yes, and softies like you will always be whining about the people who don't care about your existence. Difference is, that we don't make posts on forums about your type, we've learned to deal with it. I'm a nice guy irl, I have manners, I hold the door open for women to pass through first, etc. The thing is that I don't associate RS with IRL, and see no need to, as it in no way affects who I am when I log off.
  7. As I see it, they'd much rather get a feather, and a pink skirt, and we'd all go around tickling eachother whilst dancing on fluffy clouds.. Yay, peace love harmony! \
  8. I think it's fair enough that I get annoyed at someone else stopping my enjoyment by stopping me play the game how I see fit, and that is playing the game with manners and realising that the other PEOPLE that are playing are that, PEOPLE. So obvious that you're just mad that you can't get the exp you expected you'd get, before another player logged in. Get over it, as someone else said. What you're saying is is that it's fine for them to play the game the way they want to, but I'm not allowed to play it the way I want? Seems fair to me! You act as if you want the worlds of the real world to apply to RS? Well if that should be so, life isnt fair, little friend. All of you making excuses that we should act like we should in real life. Now get a grip and realize, that IRL, as well as RS, isn't fair. and you are all being childish for wishing it were so .. Go watch cartoons =D> You're maturity level isn't high enough for the BIG BAD WORLD

  10. What are you talking about? You have to be proper BRAINDEAD, to get confused about this issue. If you can even call it an issue. What they should do is frigging upload a dictionary, explaining double meanings of words. Or maybe demand official papers, stating one has a functional brain, before you get to log on again.
  11. If you get enjoyment out of annoying other people then there's something seriously wrong with you that goes far beyond a game. I don't speak for myself in this case, perhaps you misread. I'm level 116, f2p only, and train at lvl 45 iceys on world 52. once a month I see a player there within my attack level range. . Now listen up, if YOU GET ANNOYED by someone else playing the game the way he seems fit, YOU GOT THE PROBLEM.
  12. Sharing is when both people agree, and when there's enough to go around, which there maybe isn't at spiritual mages. Maybe thats your definition of sharing in the (perhaps) egocentric society you live in. Where I'm from we share no matter the amount.
  13. I doubt Jagex cares so much about our exciting RS lives.
  14. Yes, thats very true. I believe its not the person challenging the spot, that has a problem Its most likely the sad little person who chooses to dwell on it and get all depressed, that needs some help.. :P
  15. I guess your small brain (as you wrote yourself) hasn't heard of words having double, yes sometimes triple meanings.. Now this can be hard to understand, but don't worry, I think you learn this in the 2nd or 3rd grade, so you still have time to catch up to the rest of us. :-w
  16. No, that sounds more like an IRL situation, not Runescape. Most times people are what you call "rude", because they simply don't care about the other player, and why should they ?Its a game . As mentioned in the first post, they 2 people were obviously a much higher level, giving them an advantage to begin with, so why in the heck should they leave, when they are practically forcing out the smaller player just by being there. Now that might be harsh, but thats just the way it is. Actualy, I'm level 120 so the 110 wasn't higher than me. "Other players" are people too, so why should you not have manners? It may be an online game but that doesn't give people the right to be rude towards other REAL people does it? It's a mentality like that which these people most likely have and I bet you they wouldn't even try to do such a thing in real life, so why the hell should they do it in a game? Pretty much answered it urself. Because its a game, where its actually allowed. :boohoo: Either deal with it, or don't. Not dealing with it will just make you mad. Now if a game pisses you off so much, why do you play it? Or have you not discovered that games are meant to be played for personal enjoyment ? PERSONAL, meaning they don't have to give a flying fl00k about you're "feelings". I break it down hard, so you and others don't have to constantly post whining rants.

  18. There will always be macroers.
  19. lol...where are your own manners, aint never heard of sharing?? :boohoo:
  20. Not all feel an obsessive need to be seen and heard all the time. I read tons of other forums, but this is the only one I post on i.e.
  21. And don't forget him constantly saying 'moo' and talking about his moderator powers. Seems like I'm not the only one with that opinion after all. The ones encouraging , would most likely be the brownnosers .. Today there have been numerous ppl stating on tipitchat, that they actually leave when the said person logs on. Now if said person pulled his head out of his rear, maybe he'd see how very little popular said person actually is, and act accordingly, instead of acting a bigheaded fool. And "we're just having fun" is pretty much beyond lame, by now.
  22. It wasnt easier as such, but if you had the skill to catch, and a good server connection it was easy to get the 3 rounds, but then you also needed the stats to 3 hit, or the skills to eat faster then your opponant and catch them again before they can eat to full, its a lot harder then it sounds. Yup, and you couldn't eat while running, like on rs2.
  23. except that he wasnt
