  1. I'm not sure... I always thought F2P can only enchant amulets, but it doesn't say anything about that in the magic guide on the tip.it website. My magic lvl is 33 so I can enchant up to emerald. Amulets give the best crafting xp so I guess that would be my best choice if they all sold equally easily.
  2. Oh I forgot to mention, I'm f2p. I guess that slims down my chances to an anorexic Paris Hilton of chances right?
  3. It seems a litle strange to me to have a party on runescape...
  4. I've got a bunch of gems that I collected over a month or so. i now want to craft them into jewelry for some xp. But what kind of jewelry should I make them into? I know that rings are worth the most money, but will I be able to sell them all if I make them into rings?
  5. Hey, I'm not the one with ''level 120 my life is complete'' in my signature here.
  6. Hi, When I start up my computer, go to youtube to find a song to put on, go on msn and play runescape at the same time, the first ten minutes or so of playing are fine. But after thatm, for some reason it just gets slower and slower to the point where after I click on something, nothing happens until about 2 seconds later. How come my computer is fast the first ten minutes and then becomes slow? Does something start running in the background? EDIT: It's been like this only for about a week.
  7. Nachalo I very strongly agree with this topic. I like party items but only als novelty items, they shouldn't have any financial value. Also I'd like to be able to get the holiday items that I don't have. Maybe they should reintroduce the old holiday events as quests that you have to pay 1 million for and a have high level in a certain skill in order to do them. That way all the noobs won't be able to get the items. Konets.
  8. I know that but I think that wouldn't be worth the effort of having to click a bunch more times. I don't know, maybe it is. Would that change much?
  9. What is it used for other than that one quest?
  10. In my situation, steel would make about 1.3mil more profit. Two coal and one iron ore will cost me 460 gp. Four coal and one mithril will cost me 976 gp. I need to make roughly 27k steel bars or 16k mithril bars. One steel bar sells for 628 gp, that's 168 profit per bar. One mithril bar sells for 1,177 gp, that's 201 profit per bar. Steel: 27k times 168 = 4,536,000 profit Mithril: 16k times 201 = 3,216,000 profit So for the money, steel would definately be the better option. As far as speed, mithril might be better but there's another argument for steel. Steel gets 9 bars per run, so that's 27k/9= 3000 runs Mithril gets 5 bars per run, so that's 16k/5= 3200 runs This is not a big difference, but I hate having to walk back and forth so I value fewer runs over speed. The smelting itself only requires 2 clicks anyway. Plus, the time it takes actually smelting the bars is a nice litle break for me, rather than an annoying wait.
  11. Good. It's going to be long and dreadful though. I hate smelting. It's much worse than the smithing or mining part of the entire process. EDIT: On a side note, to anyone who might find this useful, making steel bars takes less time than making mithril bars and it also makes more profit in large quantities (in my situation, anyway).
  12. Yeah they ought to change that. So they'll sell no problem? Instantly maybe?
  13. I'm planning to buy some coal and iron ore and smelt them into steel bars to get my smithing up to the same level as my mining. But are steel bars in high enough demand to sell a large number of them easily?
  14. The things you summon. Why are the not allowed at the grand ex and party room anymore?
  15. Can somebody tell me what a familiar is?
  16. Hmm I've gotten the mystery box but the costume option wasn't there. I suppose it only shows up with the randoms that used to give you a costume part?
  17. Thanks. I would have never found out about these outlaws myself. One little question though, what random events were discontinued? Because I would like to get a pair of mime boots. Will that still be possible?
  18. Well whaddya know it worked. They take a lot of hits before 1 xp is added.
  19. I did just fight one of them when I came across them and still ended up with an even number of xp. It could be because I just got an even number of hits in though, so I'm going to try again now.
  20. Well that sucks. I need to get me an attackable random. Are they all discontinued? EDIT: I just found that thugs are members only alltogether.
  21. They're only in the wilderness part of the dungeon, which is for members.
  22. I went to the wilderness where they're supposed to be but they weren't there. I also went south of the fairy ring where they're supposed to be but there were only outlaws. Were they taken out of the game or something?
  23. I've been doing that, except with chickens and rats. It doesn't solve my problem of the one xp point difference. That's very interesting, why is this? I'm going to try this now.
  24. Ok, so at least I've made the matter a little less complicated for myself. I need to gain an uneven amount of xp for attack, or for both defence and strenght. Now the only question that remains is whether or not there's a way of doing so. The skill lamps wouldn't work because they always give you an even amount of xp.
