no worries...I did solo around 60 times and same never got a good drop

was thinking of levelling up to at least 91 rc...is it still good for double nats to make huge amount of profit ? A friend of mine with 99rc told me that he is not doing well lately with the drop of the nats....is it best to use summoning spirit graahks or abyss ?

would love to do solo...just bought a dfs and will buy the armour listed am only worried only about the running angles....I might run only instead of hitting

I need to take a rest from GWD and have around 20mil to level up some levels....was thinking about magic and summoning at the same time ...what is the fastest way to do so ?

I agree maybe with you for pvp (maybe..since have many doubts about on what AGS might be good for) but for boss hunting you really need to be very lucky to get high hits with the special and SGS/BGS are much more better for bosses than AGS.

as said in previous posts....if you want to show off buy an AGS...if you want a GS for performance get the SGS. If you are then looking at price...I say buy neither of them since there is no guarantee on whatever you buy that you will gain any profit if you want to re-sell. I always look at performance before price issue.....normally with performance you get cash.....with buying and selling you tend to loose money.

I agree. I tend to look more at the performance than the price. Few days ago I bought an AGS...performance was weak so I sold it back loosing 5 mil or so but I sold the AGS since performance in the respect of what I was doing was poor and not taking in consideration the price drop...I bought the SGS instead and am totally happy with it whatever the price is and how much money I will loose in due course...most important is that I am satisfied with the performance. If you are doing GWD keep the BGS whatever the price is.

most probably you where totally lucky to have 2 good hits with the special of the AGS. I tried twice with AGS and my only hit was that of 11 all other hits where 0. Had to teleport after I ate all the sharks in my inventory and tortoise. With my SGS the story is totally different since I can do 2 to 3 kills every time. Not lucky in drops though since never got anything good in maybe 20 rounds.

I think getting a random item when you kill someone is good instead of loosing all stuff..... If you had to loose all stuff I can guarantee you that you will see a lot of people doing RWT ...same way they are doing in BH nowadays which is ruining the real fun of BH

AGS is hopeless case...even if it was 5 mil would not even bother to buy one...had one and sold it immediately...SGS is much much more better.......

do you think Zammy Dhide is better than Torag/Karil ?

definately SGS..... I had both.... AGS will only do high hits once in 30 specials....If you are doing GWD AGS is the worst gs out there. If you want to show off then AGS is good. Besides that I found AGS very inaccurate. Two days ago one of my team mates at sara had an AGS and all his specials where 0 (he was 99 strength) so he came to my conclusion as well. SGS is an all rounder. I really love this godsword taking into consideration that you are gaining something (HP & Prayer) with the special. BGS is good as well and can be very much good doing bosses in GWD ZGS is only good for sara. If you have money get the SGS if you want to save some money and buy a GS then go for a BGS.

just changed my tactic and went much much better...instead of range am using melee with SGS and full guthan.... Moreover I noticed that when I was using range for sara it was very much difficult to find a team that accepts rangers nowadays on RSOF...so melee it is :)

yes I just logged out and back again in and tortoise appeared with the inventory of sharks

I was just teleporting to trollheim to solo bandos with full inventory of sharks in my tortoise when a random event came.....After I finished the event my tortoise vanished.....tried calling and it was telling me I dont have a familiar near me.....tried dismissing and it was telling me I dont have a familiar lol. Lost full inventory of sharks. Then returned to bank to get another tortoise and I could not summon it ...was telling me that I already have a familiar :S and I did not have the familiar icon on :S

I have never tried yet to solo sara sicne started sara only 2 days ago :) I tried both range and melee (with a team). Seems with range I last longer than with melee. Do you think taking a setup of full guthan with range will help ? or should I fill up my terror bird/war tortoise ?. For the time being was taking bunyips and sometimes an empty terrorbird with scrolls for running. What is the best setup for a 4 man team ? My armour was the following: Armadyl Helmet Zammy DHide Saradomin Stole Rune CBow Granite Shield (till I get the money for a DFS) Verac skirt snakeskin boots Black D`hide Vambs (dont know if they are better for range than barrows) ROL 2 Bunyips in inventory, 2 Ranging Potions, 10 Sara Brews and 10 Super Restores, 1 prayer potion, 1 teletab. EDIT: just bought DFS and Verac helm.

Thanks for the guide :) I can do 2 kills per trip easily...though drops are very very rare from bandos now :( dont think its worthed to solo you really need to be very very lucky to get a good drop.

if you have very good range just use range.... I tried both with teams (no soloing yet). With range I can last longer and the hits are much more better than with melee. With my sgs the good thing is that you heal with the special. Sara is the best for drops :) managed to get between 1 to 3 sara swords per trip upto now (only started 2 days ago and got 6 ss)....yesterday I tried with melee and had to teleport out since was out of brews...lost a hilt :(

normally I do around 12hrs+ in gwd a day....I tried the AGS twice, that is I bought it twice for say a period of 2/3 days then I to be honest in those 3 days I had to sell it since performace was very very poor. Yesterday traded the ags for an sgs + junk and with same armour I could see a huge difference in performace. I did solo bandos this morning and did 2 kills whereas as said above with ags the max and only hit I gave was an 11. I am not comparing the solo`s I did but overall performance since when I am not soloing you find me always either in a clan at bandos/sara/zammy meleeing.

phew managed to trade ags for sgs and cash :) end of the bad drama ...I will not do the mistake of buying an ags again for sure :)

yes you are totally right....I am so used to this section that I posted here by mistake :) and especially to warn others that AGS is only good as a show off or maybe to lend ...nothing more believe me. The hits I gave with SGS and BGS are far higher than AGS. Maybe with AGS you give that hit of 70 once in 200 tries.

2 days ago I said I go again for another test on the ags after my 1st one failed totally.... Well out of many bandos trips I managed only to get a hit of 70 on graador with the special all the others where too low. I noticed as well that even normal hits are lower than what bgs and sgs do. Strange since I thought all normal hits of gs where the same but from experience I noticed that zgs and ags lack a lot and have many low hits. This morning I tried selling back the ags to get either a bgs with full bandos and DFS + arma (for ranging) or maybe get the sgs and continue meeling.....Price has dropped and neither on lower price I cannot sell :( already lost around 10mil on this gs in 2 days :(
