I wish there were more options available in Australia. As soon as any of those buy-for-cash-at-the-store thingies is available here i will switch to it. Meanwhile i use a DEBIT card not a credit card. Looks and works exactly like a credit card at the point of sale. But it is linked to an account which you keep a LITTLE bit of money in.. and it will only use money that is in that account. so... i am not racking up interest and fees on a bank loan - which is really what a "credit" card does. cheers

Those replies are correct, You need to be holding a gree gree so you dont get attacked, and wearing a monkey speak ammy - so you can talk to them. and some gp of course- not a huge amount. grats on spirit tree growing :-)

For that independant feeling: I like taking a pick, nature runes, a fire staff to the coal mine/guild. Mine coal, plus iron or mithril, use superheat to make bars, Take the bars into the northern (non guild ) side of the mine, there are anvils near the shopping zone, Smith the highest things you can, then High alchemy them, repeat. ( when your skill is high enough there are 3 addy rocks in the non guild side of the mine) Steel plates High alch for 1200gp :D check out The High Alchemy calculator In the Special Calculators section on the main Tipit site -- hope that is of use to you, have fun :-)

Poor little bats, *it is quite difficult to translate bat into english , but it goes something like this* We just wanted a little privacy, and both our parents are sooo old fashioned and mean, we found this nice out of the way cave, out of the wind, and then there was this HUGE MONSTER making the the the light the bright lights ( the triple the's indicate terror) and waving trees at us and and i got a broken wing and she got 2 broken hands :cry: ....... we BOTH got in trouble for being out - and they didn't believe us about the wild tree hitting us, but its sooo hard to make up a good story when you've been concussed by such a HUGE MONSTER... .... then it deteriorates into fear gibberish . ;)

Real helpful :roll: I don't know that there is any way, really. Not even a ring of wealth would help, seeing as the flippers aren't worth much at all. Although there's one thing I know that will make your chances even lower, and that is giving up! : Thank you for the encouragement :)

Is there anyway to improve my chances of getting the flippers? I have 8 hats so far, and 5 crunchy claw tokens...no flippers.

Well I don't mind too much when I forget an essential item, for example getting to the rune rock in the wildy, but NO pickaxe.... But when I started summoning, i had to go back to the bank for pouches... then got back to the obelisk and realised i had no shards ( no gp either )..then after i got back to the obelisk again, ...Yep no charms. #-o My next worst was cheerfully buying up a stock of shards with my "hard earned" gp... to realise i had bought 50 000 of pouches. - no they do not sell on G E even after 2 weeks. heh, oh well, its all fun :?
