Canada and their weird driving laws. I passed my driving test at 16. I passed A driving test at 16. But it's a three-tiered system here. Age 16: Took written test, passed, got G1 License. Age 19: Took road test, passed, got G2 License. Age 22: Took road test, passed, got G License (full). I didn't actually have to wait that long, I was just lazy and didn't drive much anyway. Theoretically you can get your G as early as 17 years 8 months. But I think they may have changed the rules since then. 15 - Learner's Permit 16 - Intermediate Restricted License 17 - Intermediate Unrestricted License 18 - Full At least here in Tennessee. No tests besides for Permit and IRL.
