if u train on undead stuff a slave or slave(e) would be very usfull and undead monsters that are good to train on are armoured zombies (defender of varok) and mighty banshees(smoking kills) I was thinking more like rock crabs myself xD and maybe green/blue drags for gold never ever train on rock crabs they suck train on something else altho green and blue dragons are good but i think from what iv heard that armoured zombies make money and u can also get sacred clay and void if u want to hit higher or get more exp Armoured zombies are like level 85 and my combat wont be that high.. i thought rock crabs were good especially at low levels because they have 50hp and hit 1's?

Alright then I guess I will go P2P BUT before I do I need to make sure I know what I'm doing I don't wanna get to decent stats then realize something bad. And it looks like I will go 45 def and be a zerk pure instead Are there any "must do" quests? Does anyone have any experience in this matter? And I know about dragon slayer giving defense xp lol. Thats why you do it at 30 sumin defense. Thanks

Hi. I suddenly had the urge to make a rune pure (F2P) but I remembered that you need 33QP to start dragon slayer (for rune plate). I can get 28 QP without raising any other skills like mining (so it makes my chars skill look neat :D) I can't think of a way to get 5 extra quest points without raising a non combat skill and it would make my skills look stupid (imagine 40 atk 80+str 40 def 3 crafting) o_O Or should I just stop being a fussy tard and get on with it? Sorry if this sounds utterly noobish Or perhaps I should make him P2P? Hmmm... I actually just thought of that while typing lol. Opinions about rune pures etc are welcome!

Sorry but I like to play my games, not work on them. If you consider a game work you shouldn't be playing it. Move on or stop complaining, this isn't rants. The whole point of runescape is work/grind, so yeah, stop playing MMORPGS if you don't find it fun or play some mini games And I disagree. The whole point of MMORPG's is not to grind. The point is to make interactions with other players, make friends, chat, have fun. It seems your priorities on Runescape may be a little off. MMO's are a bit of both really

By rune pure im talking about 40 attack 60+ strength 40 defense It will be f2p. I'm just wondering whether or not i should bother. It sounds better then a 1 def pure because it will be easier to train/kill stuff for money with defense.

I was thinking of making a strength pure (f2P) but the thought came across my mind of how am I gonna make money? I don't wanna have to raise wc just so I can afford food >.>

You got a good point but I can train up slayer another day. For now I really want for xp for melee so I can do other things. My slayer is 27 atm which is alright for my level so its not in desperate need of leveling I'm heading to rock crabs now >.<

I have 43 attack 41 strength & 41 defense and I wanna get 50 50 45 asap. I thought that training them along with Slayer would be a good idea but it is slowing me down so much. Should I go to the rock crabs instead (you can recommend any other monster) or should I stay with Slayer? Thanks in advance =] I Also forgot to mention that rock crabs drop clue scrolls which I find pretty fun. And are there any quests which give melee xp? I have done dragon slayer, waterfall quest, and vampire slayer.

Why is the carrot brown? I don't want to imagine where he pulled it out from. Definitely not the ground.

Thanks for the quick reply I have a strong feeling I will enjoy the game. The main reason I stopped playing was because I couldn't afford membership (yeah i was a poor 13 year old :P) but now I have enough money and I wanna give it a go. When I was a member they were the best gaming moments of my life It could end up being a waste of money but tbh I wasted more money on WoW then anything else so i wont be sad about loosing £4.50 =P The only way I can see myself enjoying this game is by being a member since I have spent so much time being a non member it will become boring. Thanks for the suggestion but I dont want it to do anything with koo :P something new. I was thinking maybe a word like Dragon or Blade with 123 at the end or whatever. I dunno im just brain storming lol Yeah I heard about all of that stuff and it doesn't affect me because pvp wasn't really my thing and its for the greater good really. I am excited to try out the GE because the days of world 1 west varrock bank was a pain to sell stuff because of all the people spamming. Hey folks! First of all sorry if this is in the wrong forum >_< please just move it if it is. Okay so the story is... I aint touched Runescape in a few years and I had a level 80 something. He was F2P for a very long time and a member for a short while. I did a few easy member quests, caste wars, nothing much really. However if I do start again then I wanna make a new account for a fresh start, and to get used to all the newbie stuff. If I do decide to start playing again I will most likely buy membership straight away at level 3 to keep myself from getting bored (lots of member stuff to do) and to keep myself dedicated since im paying for it after all. I don't care if the odd guy comes along saying "LOLZ LVL 10 MEMBER GTFO n00b" I will just laugh and ignore them. So why am I even thinking about playing again? Well after I stopped playing Runescape I played a lot of WoW and Guild Wars. I now describe WoW as a "dead cow being milked" the game has been horrible since the first expansion and Blizzard are still sucking money out of it. Guild Wars was really good back in the day but now it's pretty much dead. If you happen to be looking for a new MMO I would recommend Eve or Guild Wars. I also have lots of free time at the moment and playing counter strike is getting boring. Runescape just popped into my head so I decided to check it out. The new graphics look amazing my computer will be able to run it no problem (I learned how to build my own I would really recommend it for anyone who's thinking of getting a new computer - it saves tons of money) Jagex themselves look like a really good company from what I've seen (lots of feedback etc) compared to Blizzard... Thanks for the replies so far, I just decided that instead of a pure I'll just make a main. I was trying to name my account something with Darz in (the name I sometimes use) and it seems to not want to make an account with Darz in. Even if I put lots of random letters and numbers after it... Is the word filtered or something? I don't see why... Meh I'll just come up with a new name lol. Sorry if that sounded confusing
