heya guys, planning on ranging a few avians. just checking would sara symbol and zammy god cape count as my items? looked at a guide a bit back but cant remember for the life of me whether vambs count cheers

ogres are a good bet, theres a couple of spots like the training grounds above ardougne and under the chaos druid tower you can safespot nicely. you can also save and sell the big bones or get a little prayer xp while there. failing that for speed id use yaks and knives. low defence and rapid kills :D just costs more

your better off going to a friends house who has a gilded altar :D i belive there are dedicated worlds for house parties and such so try there or ont he rsof if someone will let you use theirs.

people slate it but the dark bow isnt that abd a weapon. yep its slow but the fact that even at my range of 73 when potted i camn hit consecutivly 20 dmg over 2 arrows worth. + the specs nice if you need a bit of last min dmg. Im currently using that with addy arrows and am doing fine, the arrows are cheap and the bow at 800k aint that bad imo. if your slayering then cannon what you can if just to speed things up a bit, im not a fan myself but then again i only have about 1 mil atm so dont wanna spend the money on one. if you get a task where you need an oh item then rune xbow and broad bolts.

safe-spotting in the crypts is fine but its a lot harder int he tunnels below and with mystic if you get verac you run a very good chance of taking some heavy dmg. personally if you want some +mag use mystic, or if you want a bit of def splitbark, but if i ever run i dont find it too tricky to get magic hitting with 70 mag.

yeah basilisks seem to drop higher lev herbs quite a bit for me too. i often go to get a full invent of ranarr for some relatively quick cash...but tbh herb drops are about the only type im lucky with lol

done flesh crawlers for melee previosly and never got anything cash wise. moss giants might be a little better ill give em a try.

hey all. whats a good place to train range in f2p? current lv is 72 and im thinking of getting it at least to 80. obv f2p maple short is best bow, ill prob be using iron/steel arrows too. just need some spots.

they've been recomended to me about f2p spots for training and decent drops from the lv 83 ones, just wondered if anyone whos killed em for a while knows if they're weak to a certain atk style, slash/crush/stab or anything?

i am gonna do rfd at some point, i just have to be in a questing mood. and i am using a ring of wealth :D im just unlucky as hell with drops most the time lol. thanks for the slayer advice though, im gonna get that to 55 soon. just want some cash first. well sticking with thses and fire giants for a bit then (slay task) actually there next to the zamy warriors so i could just nip in and out for a bit lol.

yes you can, i was gonna suggest these to you with your other topic but im here now and in the last...45 min ive got 80k in items :D its a decent place after the initial auto aggro wears off you just leisurely kill em for god knows how long they drop rune daggers a fair bit, had about 6 or 7, and 2 rune scimmys, a few addy longs as well im alching, got b2p tabs so camping here for a bit :D use my directions for an easy trip to em too

to an extent possibly, ive never done avianses only read the guides here about em but done quite a few greens over the last month. greens are de fmroe active, with regards to having as little in your invent as poss to ensure the best runs profit, i carry 5 monks, 1 antifire pot and thats it, i usually end up almost wasting 1 monk but i keep 5 just in case of rev atk. avianses seemt o be a stock up on stuff and go camp this spot for a few hours kinda monster. While the addy bars and everything will add up over time i dont think you could just up and go there as easy as greens, id say greens were more casual 'oh i fancy killing something for a little while' mob while avians require a bit of planning :D also do you want to range or would you rather melee??

uncrowded id probably say greens as even at my stats i can get a full inventory (12 ea) or hides and bones which is about 60k in todays market in about 15 min if that. having said that there is al ot of running involved. Avianses seemt o be more a place to camp for longer periods to get teh best profit. if you have the time and like ranging, they're probably better, if you want a relatively quick run then greens may suit you better.

thanks for the advice but i found an easy way to em too, go down the middle crevice jsut above the river, you will be in a large cave filled with rock crabs, go north west to a protal that will take you to a room full of fire giants, run straight through them to the other side then the next room will take you toa small room full of these guys. liking it so far, they drop faster than ankous and had a rune scimmy within my first ten min of killing, along with 3 rune daggers....may start to compose a guide for anyone else interested, just give me some time free lol.

well the point of the post was cashflow tbh, ive done a bit of skilling and find it, while effective to get a little ont he boring side, you know clck a tree, click a fishing spot etc...i know xcombats not a great deal better depending on what your fighting but its just more fun for me, as a personal thing. if i had to pick 1 then it would def be the cash atm, theres a few things i want and would like the cash to make the training easier atm so it would def be that. im happy with my exp atm having 70+ int he cb's was my main goal so thats that, now i need money,i just have half decent melee gear now and would like to use the whip i so wanted to make me that money :D and please tellme more of these warriors of zamorak :D they sound interesting.

i doubt im strong enough for gwd tbh..barrows is a possible though, done a few runs and did enjoy it. just never melee'd it as i was always under the impression i needed like 80+cb stats. might resign to fate and do greens for a bit longer then....

yeah i go back and do a bit every now and then, usually fight the armours, either mith or black depending on how i feel lol... getn300 in no time for half hour stints in with em, anything more gets depressing when they dont drop. and i do know about talking to her to get teh next lv ones to drop, its jsut gettting the bronze one to drop int he first place :D also thanks for all the advices o far guys, it is helping :D

i do like the defensive stats of the obby shield, and for some reason i liek the fact in that gear ym str bonus is excactly 100 lol. ive been in with the cyclopses and they hate me, half an hour and the bronze one didnt even drop....that was no breaks constant killing. so it kinda put me off a bit. is there really nothing else but greens and ankous?

gear wise i could do a lil better just cant afford atm, literally just finished getting 70+ in the cb stats and the whip was my own reward..although it did kinda clean me out a bit. im hoping to train a bit as i am making money with em. probably got about 500k ish left atm was gonna save for some barrows equipment, probably guthans as ill want to be training slayer soon...really need to focus on summoning when i get a bit of cash too lol....

slayers a good decision and one i have thought of, however my current task is to finish off about 90 of the 174 fire giants task....one i had been previously ranging. will i get hit a lot with the waterfall fire giants? ill be using monks for food, would atk/str/def pots be useful for me up there or not worth it, from memory i rarely got decent drops from em so id rather not use more money than the food would cost me.

Heya scapers. Ive been thinking recently about what to kill for some cash, im sick of green drags and ankous tbh and would like some advice on what else my stats/gear could kill as a melee fighter with my current stats. have rune plate and legs, whip, obby cape + shield, rune boots, glory with neit helm. stats below in sig edited, popped a pic of stat screen just to makie it a lil easier too.
