well its a waste of money you could better spend elsewhere, a blessed coif for example is a much better investment costing a fraction of the robin hat and having like 1 less rng atk. as for boots snakeskin are your best bet again, robin looks good but i wouldnt risk it on slayer as the above poster said....having said that i woudnt even buy it.

hello scapers so ive always had a soft spot for range, im an archer irl so it kinda has that pull for me :D but ive been thinking recently now that im almost at 70 def to get myself karils setup. however, it doesnt seem as good as say full blessed d'hide with a rune xbow using anything from pearl(e) to diamond (e) bolts. i know karils is faster and from a glance the def bonuses are higher, also id be wearing the vambraces from another set too. so is karils worth it or am i best off with blessed d hide and saving myself a bunch of cash :D

right i have my whip! for a col 1.4m too lol. and its awesome!!!!! im kicking myself for not buying this earlier lol, ive defisantely seen a decrease nt he time it takes me to fill up at the green drags already, and as i level itl only get better hopefully. training def on it till 70 then to controlled and see how we go :D

the better armoured you are the less you'll get hit. seriously these guys are quite a pushover once you nullify the dragonbreath. i see ppl as low as early 70's tripping there with full rune and they do fine :D

1.4 mil then...well green drags and other methods it is then :D i actually prefer the d long over the scimmy....for pve stuff the specs better and although slower its slightly stronger

i know its a very popular wep and all but just wanted some people who have experienced the whip at lower cb levels. Im gonna hit 70 in atk/str/def soon which has been a goal of mine for a little while. after doing this im gonna treat myself to a whip i think cause i see a lot of them and they seem to hit pretty reliably and pretty quick. would it be a good investment for me? also about training; how annoying does controlled get? cause id like to level em fairly together if i can after the 70 mark.

tbh i often find the ct greens with a few already there. with a decent respawn time 2 high levelled players can crowd the ct's while the wildy you cna often get 1 each with 3 ppl there at the west point, cant remember how many there are at the east side.

ive used gorgoroths guide to great effect. personally i do prefer the greens in the wildy (westerly) but either way you cna make a lot of good money there. i generall have 5 monks,1 antifire pot and thats it. usually come out with 12 or 13 of each hide and bones, i have once or twice taken a bit more stuff (alch runes etc...) and alched some of the drops either way you'll wa;lk away with about 40-50k a trip, just depends how quickly you can kill them. as for invent i use head - d med helm neck - glory chest - granite body legs - dragon platelegs feet - dragon boots gloves - cooking gauntlets (ill get round to rfd one day) i rarely get hit and often almost have to waste the last monkfish, its just there as backupo should i get hit too much on an unlucky streak or get a rev (which is rare for me) you cna do those dragons with up to 3 decent ppl there (1 each) and if they're been social then the time flies.

yeah ankous are good for higher levelled players and with bones to peaches tabs you can stay there indefinately lol...well until yuo get bored and decide to go kill something else. giants are a decent bet for you, hills are pretty low def and drop big bones which may help your prayer or cashflow. Theres a few hill giant groups that pl dont frequent too much.

right i killed 4 brothers, the 4th crypt had the tunnel in it, i went in from there, got my kc to something like 15 from another karil and various monsters, only got deaths minds and gold lol....meh might wait till im a bit higher levelled and try again, takes a lot of concentration at my level

right so to have a chance at an item i have to kill each brother in their crypt, then descend down, kill more stuff + brothers and then get to teh chest?

When doing a barrows run and you are first dropping into the crypts to kill each brother, do yuo have to kill them all or can you instantly drop intot he tunnels and continue from there? planning a run and wouldnt mind knowing as the guide doesnt say

dying...ok not all my items but i was following a lv 3 clue int eh wildy and get towards my coords...now for the impossible part. i have a lv 126 rec follow me for about 10 minutes, i cant use my sextant cause dmg interrupts and im like wtf give me a break here! seriously revs are starting to really shiv me off when treasure hunting, i already have to kill a zammy wizard so i was fairly prepared to kill him. what i lost wasnt the cost, more the fact that no i have to trapse half way across rs to get em back.....i preferred pkers lol.

right if your a solid pure then chickens near lummy :D make money off the feathers (or used to be able to i think) and they die easily. do that and maybe cows until about 20 ranged. then move onto something a bit harder that you can safespot just make sure your ranged +atk is as high as poss, so you hit more often

Hey all. Im thinking of doing smoking kills as i level my slayer and just wondering if its relatively doable with ranged? will post a pic of my gear, anything i should be watching out for?

take off the full helm and steel boots, depending where you train you wont get hit and they takea chunk off your ranged atk. whats your range level currently?? that will determine on where you train tbh

hehe i brought leather and arrows and bows parts and ranged him...mind you i think i was about 50 range when i did lost city

hey all. levelling constructiona s not played with it much since i got back into rs. appraoching the level 40 range soon (or at least got the mats to do so) and am intruiged by the spell tabs. now ive relatively decent mag level so was wondering if theres any profit in these and which ones sell. i know a lot of guides recommend people to bring Bones to Peaches tabs, but are the others useful and sellable too?? bronze knives might be ok but i prefer starting to use em at a higher level, jsut to make things easier in terms of hitting often. check out the ranged guide for bow/xbow differences at your level, though id say use a short bow until you can use rune xbow if you want to go that way, simply cause they're quicker. other than that knives are the way to go. just try and get your range atk bonus as high as you can i suppose, you wont have access to zammy book for an offhand or ava's accumulator either though so you might have some spots free

if you dont like SS then demons on karamja. i always found em relatively nice to kill on f2p. scimmy as your wep as its fastish, other than that full rune it for melee. your call on power or str but i always went power.

yew longs were always a given...not sure about now though but they're jsut under their alch price on the GE as far as i know. are you buying the nats too or do crafting? as that will obviously have a massive impact on your losses and what wpuld be good to alch
