I just wanted to see what the fight looked like, so I'd know what to bring. Besides, first time is harder than rest of the times(don't have to run through all chaos tunnel, and you're way higher lvl than me. To Zaverak: Bork is a lvl 267 ogre that is killed for charms and slayer xp after the quest What Lies Below. During the fight you'll be attacked by a mage that you can not attack, and by 4-5 lvl 70 minions. First time killed, bork gives 5k slayer xp, and he always drops several charms and gems, and some coins:) Pardon my ignorance also, but is this worth it? So many people seem to do it so I guess it must be. But I can't help thinking that given the time and resources required, it would be much easier to slay as normal for the exp, drops and charms. :-k I think people kill him for the easy charms. 2 green, 5 blue and 7 crimson in 3 minutes is not bad. The first time kill takes more resources and time than the following ones too, but it does give 5,000 slayer xp the first kill. So first time is worth it at least:)

Hate when you get clues you can't finish cause of requirements:p I currently have a lvl 3 which requires starting legends. I refuse to drop clues though, so working on it:P

Nice, those are quite rare. But seems less rare than mystic drops from basilisks to be honest-.- I got 2 mystic hats from basilisks in 1 trip =p. I've killed a couple thousand basilisks, 2 heads, no mystic:P

Good luck with the clues. I generally try to do a couple clues per day, and I never drop one. Have yet to get the big one though. 1m reward was my best this far.

You've written a good rant, and I do agree with both your arguments. But I also must agree on some of the arguments which take into perspective the usefulness of magic outside of combat. I would say, that even though magic is not a good combat skill, it has to be one of the most useful skills in game.
