Okay so currently my mail goal is 99 Ranged. Since i started Univarsity this week i fear i won't be able to spend alot of time on RS anymore. I'll most likely end up doing somthing that i can camp at, requires little or no banking and can make me alot of money in the time i play. Perfect solution? Aviansies! I have to kill about 32k more Aviansies to get to that 20mil exp mark and doing this will net me about 95Mil Profit. I plan on getting max KC at first then banking and restocking to stay for the 20Mil exp mark. I'll have about 13mil cash and 16k Broad bolts to use to get 20Mil exp. Here are some statistics on my current trip: Aviansies Killed : 1089 Bones to Peaches Used : 18 Bolts Used : About 2k Money Gained: 3 412 987 Gear Used : Zammy Chaps and Dhide, Neit Helm, White Boots, Barrows Gloves, Sara Book, Armadyl Pendant, Explorers Ring. ( +136 def and 152 Attack. + 10 Prayer.) Possible Changes: Neit Helm > Zammy Coif/Robin Hood, White Boots > Ranger Boots, Explorers Ring, Onyx/Archer Ring. Questions: Using the info above, how many bolts and BtP would i need to get 32k Kills? Should i bother getting a friend to bring me Ranging Potions every now and then? Any other advice on camping there for such a long time?

Maging Aviansies could get profit, but very little. If youre looking for extreme cash then Runecrafting, Melee or Ranged would be your answer. Mining, Hunter, Slayer, Thieving and Farming are also good ideas.

It might be very risky at their current price though. Back when they were still 2.2k or even 2.5k they would have been much better but if youre serious about investing then you should get your hands on as many of them as you can, and as soon as you can before they rise much more.

Well this is a hard one to answer. As we all know most items will crash and rise a few times every year no matter what. Even rare items like P-Hats do the same. As we also know all prices are determined by demand and supply and becauese not alot of RS players have the money to buy P-Hats that would be a big NO in my opinion. I would go with items that people actually use. Items that are needed to be the best. Items that are used in everyday skills. You should be looking for something that when bought at max and sold at minimum the loss will still be minimal. Things like Godswords would be a decent choice. I cant really think of any outstanding items but i hope that what i said made you think about your choice. Its not about how much they cost, its about how many are needed. A Prayer update is bound to come out soon. Dragon Bones could be a wise choice. Slayer is also due an update, so Slayer equipment could be wise. Best way to make a choice is to think about possible future updates and buy items that will influence those updates. GE price, basically none. Rares are not the way to go.

This is a pathetic answer. How could you assume it would take a certain amount of time if you have no idea about how long he plays everyday. Anyway. 72 - 75 should get you around 32k Exp an hour if you push hard. This means you would take about 9 hours to reach 75. Once you reach 75 you start doing the course faster without failing meaning you could get upto 40k exp an hour pushing hard. This will mean a minimum of 19.5hours will be required to get from 75 - 80. So youre looking at a total of 28.5 Hours more or less.

Well tbh you dont even need any summoning lvl at all. I never even use a summoning fimilliar when i go on Teams and i get a team without any trouble.

Yes i'm back. Oh and i'm broke. So the other day me and a friend were doing the 76k trick and i guess while being in thought i withdrew all my money instead of just 76k. I ended up loosing 13Mil. I wasnt worried because i still had full Statius in my bank and so i decided to go PK to make some money back. First fight + Lagg = Broke. So thats the story. at the moment im Ranging Aviansies and i am going to do this till 99 Ranged which should fetch me about 35mil Profit. After that i intend on getting 99Magic on Aviansies which should fetch me about another 8 or 10mil. After that i might get 99Hunter purely for profit sake. And after that i'll start making my way to 85 Slayer. After all this is done i am going to spend a month or two at Saradomin and Bandos Godwars to make money for 99Prayer and Summoning. Here are my few questions: 1. Should i do Swamp Lizzard till 80 Hunter and then Chins till 99? Or what else should i do if i wish to maximize my profit? 2. I currently have 106 Tasks in a row. Can anyone give me a ballpark figure of how many more tasks i need to do for 85? 3. Also i plan to buy Slayer Gear with the money i make with Hunter, Ranged and Mage. Here is what i had inmind: Saradomin Godsword, Whip, Defender, Verac Skirt, Guthans/Torags Body, Dragon Boots, Fury, Berserker/Warrior Ring, Trimmed Skillcape, Barrows Gloves, Slayer Helm. Would this be alright? 4. Which God would enable me to gain riches faster? Whould the above named setup be sufice for GWD? (ill swap the Slayer helm for Neit Helm or Dragon Full Helm) 5. And i currently have about 2500 Slayer Points. I intend to use them on Darts. How many darts do you get per 35 Points? If there are any tips you can offer me feel free and thank you for your time and advice in advance.

Hmm i seem to recall a screen shot were a J Mod said that he can easily see Skill Capes becoming F2P while he still works for Jagex. Maybe check your facts before getting aggresive? Anyway i think they possiblity is great that Skill Capes become F2P. And so what if they do? This might encourage F2P'ers to actually train a bit harder.

One more thing. Whats the spell on Ancients that teleports you to Edgeville?

I'm thinking about buying full Statius for PK-ing. Would this be a wise investment?

I would like to say GF Jagex. Thanx for fixing the 26k trick and making most of the items i want to buy crash like hell. Now i no longerneed 150mil to buy all i wish to buy but if my estimates are right i will require just a bit over 110mil, maybe even less. You may have stopped some people without creativity to gain ep but i stil easily get my ep. Face it, nothing can ever be done to stop tricking.

This sets my mind at ease. even though it might be a little less than the truth i still know now tht there is not much that can be done about 26king without taking pvp away completely. Sure, im a spineless 26ker. It makes me more money than i can even think of, but i do agree its againt the nature of the game. its made me a lazy player. hope it gets changed in a month or two right after ive made my 150mil back :P

yeah and he has 10items of food less giving you a huge edge, so why complain? Was that me? If so, by honor pking i mean any form of pking not using the 26k trick :ohnoes: :ohnoes: And no, it wasnt JUST you. alot of my friends told me that my way of gaining money is spineless. |Do real pking| they would say. Oh trust me, i believe in no such thing as 'honor Pking'. just a word a friend mentioned to me. if i could have it my way i would eat, run, tele, pray, anything to get ahead because thats what i think pking is all about. its supposed to be a real life combat situation and in real life you are going to do everything you want to or need to to survive. this concept of honor pking is ridiculous, as most of you have said its just a game and there is no honor involved. i just feel that when a person wants you to play by his rules then he should play by yours. and to the poster that mentioned his hate for safing, i dont get why? let the person eat. it takes up time. everytime he eats you get to hit 1 more than he can. so if he eats 10 times you get in 10 hits he couldnt get. that gives you an amazing edge.

One of the only ways to fix the 26k trick will be to make pvp the same as the old wildy system. this way the 26k trick will be basically wiped out, but this also brings back the RWT. With the current system RWT is impossible but it also allows you to do the 26k trick. I cant see any way for Jagex to fix the 26k trick that will stop both.

Ive been away for 10 days or so and i just noticed today that everything has gone up like crazy. Whips, Bandos, etc. I was saving up to rebuy my armour consisting of Bandos Tassets and Chestplate, Saradomin Godsword, Dragonfire Shield, Berserker Ring, Fury, Whip. With current prices buying all of this will cost me about 120mil. Having that all of that a few weeks ago totaled at 100mil. So basically my outfit has gone up by 20mil. Is it Summer/PvP hype? will the prices restore to were it was before summer? The reason i ask is because i want to make an accurate calculation ,time table if you must, on how long it will take me do reach 100mil or 120mil doing certain skills. So having said that, is it just summer hype? will it go back down?

So the other day me and a friend were have a discussion about the 26k trick. I said that i hoped it would not get nerfed to the point were it becomes a ad source of money. I like killing green dragons in a pvp world were i can make decent money and gain exp while gaining ep for a potentially high drop. He pointed out that if PvP gets nerfed and it becomes impossible to make money off of it i can always resort to 'honor Pk-ing'. I decided that once i get 100ep ill go try this out, so i did. I bought myself some decent PK gear (Dharoks with D Long as a spec weapon). I skuleed myself on the first guy that wanted to fight me (Full Rune and AGS). He was risking about 500k in total (item protect over ags) and i was risking over 6million (Item protect over Fury). so we started fighting and as i got hm to low health he starts running. Honor pker starts running. now i don't get it? is running away from a battle supposed to show honor? Ive watched over 1000 fights in pk worlds (i enjoy walking around and watching dharok fights|) and 8 out of 10 times the one getting owned would run away. Seriously, some of you might say that it doesn't happen as often as i say but i can assure you it does. How is running from battles any more honorable than doing the 26k trick? why is taking the smart and easy, non risky way less honorable than taking the risky hard way? He had much less to lose than i did, yet he still ran. How can this be a profitable enterprise if you have to attempt killling 5different people before you get someone willing to lose something? And then we get to rushers and pjers. Honour? no. they try and justify their lame skills by saying they risk alot. they realyy dont risk anything with the new bh pk. They spec you, and when they fail (90% of the time) they simply go to a safe sane and they are safe. I rushed a few times back when i had D claws and i felt like a total [puncture] doing it. Why does jagex even bother with PK when it has so many problems? the will never get it perfect. there will always be 2 factors influencing it : 26k trick or RWT. JAgex will have to choose, either they nerf it to stop 26k but which will allow RWT or they are going to have to accept the fact that inorder to stop RWT the 26k trick must live on. And in all honesty, whats wrong with makeing 60mil in 2weeks using the 26k trick? Its a wise way of making money. Wisdom is Honor. Any thoughts on this?

well whats there to do? if i change my pas he eventually get it somehow (even the most random pass you can think of). i have a bank pin now so ill see how that goes, should help me a bit.

I have to use my Dad's Laptop when i Play RS. He has some program on his PC which allows hiw to acces it from any other PC. This way he is awle to acces his PC from anywhere. I think its like a key logger program. I think my Brother keeps activating it when i'm not around and i ussually forget to check. So that way he figures out my pass. And TBH money is my goal ATM. I would like to get bakc the armour i had before (Bandos, SGS, DFS). From then on i will most likely start Slaying my way till i have enough money and charms to get the rest of my Combat Related skills to 99. Only problem is that with the 26-ing getting nefed i might not be able to make that 120mil back as fast as i can now.

Well i work 6hours a day. The rest of the day i do nothing at all. I can't just sit around all day and do nothing, it WILL drive me to insanity. RS is my solution. I know there are alot of ways to make easy money, I made over 60mil in about 2weeks using the PvP trick but i am kind of tired of that at the moment. I will take a 2week break from RS and i'm sure by the time i get back the 26k trick will ave been nerfed. If it is still a good way of making money then i might spend the rest of my summer trying to regain a good 50mil of my funds that way. I really am not looking to make 500mil or anything, but i am however trying to make a good 150mil ( enough to Buy my Slayer Outfit aswell as 50mil left over to buy 99 Ranged and Mage).

Umm i think he went Pking with it. I hade Bandos and BGS. I noticed a pair of Prayer Brawlers in my bank that i never had... But yeah i think ill try the GWD out. Any idea if i could get into a Sara Team with Void?

Well it seems i got hacked again. Probably by my step brother. All of my money is gone except for a SS which i have lent out. It should be returned to me in about 3hours. I think ill probably sell it just to have some money. What the heck do i do now? I'm sick of doing the PvP trick and i have no idea what else there is to do. I was thinking maybe RuneCrafting? Green Dragons bore me, I'm willing to do Aviansies... What else is there to do? EDIT: I'm not all that worried about making millions TBH, i would much rather train one of the following skills while making money (i need to make about 250mil over the course of 4months): Ranged Magic Summoning Prayer Attack Slayer At the momet i a going to Mage Aviansies till maybe 90 or somthing, i should make a small profit from that. after that i have no idea what to do. I feel bored of everything else.

26K-ing is perfectly respectable. Why shouldnt i train agility in a world that will allow me to gain millions from it? why shouldnt i trai smithing, cooking or any other skill for that matter in a world that will allow me to gain EP and then use that to make money. Anyway the main concept is this. You need to risk a total of 75 000 gp in a PvP world to gain EP. EP is used to calculate a drop when you kill someone risking ovr 26 000 gp. Killer risks 75k, one getting killed risks 26k.
