I'm facing the same dilemma, although from 71-80. I'm very tempted to go for it and I advise you to do the same ;) Even if the prayer updates are far you can still take some advantage of 5 extra prayer levels. As someone earlier mentioned, 2 extra prayer points from each dose is really handy in certain situations. Whichever you decide, good luck :thumbup:

Shards arent that hard to get rid of, i had 100k sit in the ge for about 3-4 weeks before they all sold. If the price of the pouch cost more then 70% of the shards you would get form pouch i would suggest useing those as junk or try to sell on the GE. If you were to trade in the shards tou get about 4 shards per pouch, thats 100 gp. The pouches on the GE sell from 270-286 gp each. And they high alch for 359 gp. Your best bet would be to just alch them if you cant sell them on the GE. Thats true, they do sell over time. I just like to get rid of them in a shorter timespan then 3-4 weeks. To each their own I suppose

Before trying to exchange the pouches, try putting them on g.e. and see if they sell because getting rid of shards is hard and you usually have to sell em for cash+junk. For example, stranger plant pouches sell on ge. Good luck ;)

That's true. I love kalphite tasks though as they're really great xp with cannoning. Sure, I'm losing like 80k on a task but I'll be making profits while on other tasks anyway so it's not bothering me. Also, you could pick up the potato cactus which spawns there to make ur loss minimal. I wouldn't block kalphites if you want fast slay xp. I get my 180-ish task done in about 30 minutes. Anyway, here's my blocklist: (got 3 blocks only cause I have low qps) Steel Dragons Greater Demons - unblocking once i get to 127 combat. Will block Black Demons then Iron Dragons

Godswords are terrible for slaying. My reccomendation is that you use whip+defender and save the cash until you can buy sgs. You can switch to sgs specs while slaying and it's useful in gwd and barrows, don't know if you do these though.

81 slayer and still not a single assigned task which needs a certain slayer level to kill. How likely is that? I'm at 211 tasks in a row, all assigned from duradel.

I've never brought a sara item, depends on where you get your killcount I suppose. I get my bandos kc just a bit north from the gwd entrance, the place with 3-4 goblins and a ogre attacking a gorak.

Depends on how big your team is. In a 4 man team, our tank usually has AGS as well and the tank becomes really useful. If you're in a team who can kill graador easily, i would just take the spear.
