Seriously I doubt this minigame would give good exp and if it did it would be nerfed just like pest control, but faster since they have already learned of their mistake and they respond to gamer feedback much quicker about content. Just look at the penguin bannings. Jagex is getting more responsive to the players and I love it :thumbsup: . Also they pay special attention to their high levels, they even made a forum just for people with maxed total. I'm sure a lot of people there would complain A LOT if slayer was nerfed. Soul Wars looks like a good minigame, hopefully there is some real depth to it like Castle Wars. Random event update was due, and the frog tokens finally have a use (although I hope the event happens more because I never get them :P ). I don't know if I like the fact that because I am a higher skill total I won't get nearly as much randoms, especially with the new enticing rewards such as those random gift boxes. At least I think higher skill total=less randoms, they just said it was somehow dependent on skill total. Quest list update is just another quick interface update, hopefully they don't pass it off as an update for a whole week :roll: . Price check is a quick update but great. Evil tree...I hope it's worth it at least, and doesn't take so much time like the Phoenix one. Seriously, that one needs better exp for the time that you use. All in all, I just hope Soul Wars is good, because it's the only real update for the month. I mean, I like the little things that Jagex updates but they are passing them off as something big..... Just seems like it's a huge pain for them to update RuneScape or something :? [/hide] I don't know why you guys are still talking about the ruined Slayer/Summoning exp argument, when a Jmod posted that the development team has taken this into serious consideration. I'm sure it will be a mediocre way of training slayer, but will be a fun minigame. I have found something very interesting on the Runescape Wikia: Romily Weaklax's surname literally means "weak coward", whilst his forename means "walker". The former is the exact description Azzanadra gives to the Mahjarrat: Jhallan. Whilst his examine text is: A family baker, from the North.

Now that I've had a good night's sleep and some physical occupation, I have came up with an answer to that so-called "ownage question". Here it is: Can you bless Rune Platebodies? Or D'hide? No! Meaning: the symbol and armors are two completely different things and therefore cannot be compared to each other. HA!

One slighty flaw with that. The ghostly robe quest dictates that As Zaros faded away having been stabbed with staff he curzed all that had brought this staff to that point. Ergo all the thieves crooks and merchnats who had a part in moving it from some temple to Armadyl (possibly Temple of Ikov, but I think armadyl was less udnerground at this time) to Zamorak. Nothing in the story of the staff dictates that jsut touching it will do you any harm at all. Like I said I can't back up the argument, in anyway. I hurried through the locations in the wild on the ghostly robes miniquest and it was probably there I missed something. Still that really doesn't do anything to the actual theory. And with full story I mean the things the cursed ghosts have to say. Zaros only cursed the people who had a deal in his betrayal and who were responsible for the Staff to fall in Zamorak's hands.

I assume you meant quest chain, as a new quest is obvious, to which the answer is: NO! There are far too many quest chains that have dragged on for ages, many with no updates for years. Time to fix the older ones. No, I didn't neccessarilly mean a new quest chain. I meant a new quest which might not be linked with any other quest we have seen this far in the game. It can very well be a quest which never will be linked with other quests in the future too. And about the old quest chains, don't worry, they will be fixed. I'm sure of that Jagex has got a plan for them. Of course it will be a new quest which may or may not be linked with existing quests. Otherwise it would still be quest 149. And if it is not linked with others, the storyline will probably be horrible. And that is really the point to the main epic quests. Most people want continuations. I hope JAGeX, for once, listens to the crowds.

We already know it's not going to happen because they did the same thing with axe heads. It didn't happen then, and it won't happen now. Jagex isn't that stupid. :roll: What happened to the axe heads back then?

If you kill one more, do you keep killing them because you will kill one more after the first one more?

I just returned from a Mutated Bloodveld's task. I could have slayed a few more, since my prayer and food allowed it, but the thing is: I had forgotten my slayer gem/ring... I'm also afraid, that when I get a good drop and my inventory is full, at the moment I drop something to make place for it, I get a random.

May I suggest leveling to 60 prayer, and obtain a full set of Guthix Vestments (about 1.1m in total, cheapest of the bunch (that's the plus side for following a god with little followers: his armor comes cheap)) Or try a full set of green Fremmenik Robes, and wield a Book of Balance with it. Then there is also the Guthix Dhide... Thing is, both Saradomin and Zamorak have the same things (different color), so I still think Guthix needs at least one unique item. I've come up with a theory: Guthix D'hide, Guthix Vestments, Guthix Trimmed Armor, and every other Guthix weapon/armor that also has a Sara/Zammy counterpart was ORIGINALLY going to be Guthix only, but the Guthix priests that made them felt bad that they were making the weapon/armor scene imbalanced towards Guthix, so they made the Sara/Zammy counterparts! Problem with that is that only Saradomin or Zamorak priests could have blessed their respective armours. Who says Guthix can't? The Book of Balance can bless Unholy and Holy symbols can't it? That's because there is no Guthix symbol to bless. JAGeX implemented that because otherwise it would be the only God book without an effect.

How would a guardian of the trees be needing a high woodcutting? He's going to kill them all!!!! :ohnoes: Anyways, as for the new metal cape set interfering with the possibility of your quest cape being trimmed... that doesn't make sense! :wall: I meant interfering with the idea behind the Quest cape: showing off that you have completed every quest. If these metal capes would be rewards from the hardest quest to that date, you can just put those on to show off instead of the Quest cape, wich will then be weared by only a few people. True but that's what happened with dagon'hai and elite to an extent. People wore that and it said they had done every quest. but now there are other quests and you no longer need every quest completed to wear them. The same thing will happen to the capes, if they are released. You don't need to do the quest to get the Dagon'hai robes as a drop though. That's what makes these less valuable.
