  1. Eight dollars is not that much. On a 28-day month You are paying 29 cents a day. That is a quarter and four pennies. That is equivalent to turning three aluminum cans into a recycling factory(We get 10 cents a can we turn in). Paying 29-cents a day and skipping a few days of membership is not that much of a waste. It is one less coke you will have to buy in a month's time. OT: This might work later on, but not now. A lot of people get confused with some of the current options available. The real problem is those very teens who do pay for membership, then overcram themselves with game time. I understand people are trying to maximise their gains versus costs, but it encourages addiction. I love the idea of timecards as they are more casual-player-oriented. Currently it's either you play excessively or you lose out, and it shouldn't have to be that way.
  2. 1000+ worlds only perpetuate elitism. Players are always constantly being judged by others, the fastest means of doing so is by their levels. As a "high" level myself (and I use that term very loosely), the last thing the community needs is more segregation of clueless yet well-meaning newcomers and snobby players who constantly belittle others.
  3. When I die and lose a scimmy I feel massively pissed offeven though I can afford 1k scimmies. Weird, I know
  4. I think rather than more bank space, I'd want Jagex to give us a way to store our Random Event clothing besides our bank. That'd open up a lot of space for the masses. The floor.
  5. Yes this is my pet peeve too. Whenever someone calls me a 'safer' I purposely eat up to 100% hp then do the Safety First emote. It sure gets my point across!
  6. Meh. You created a new account just to type this, you shouldve known there was going to be everyone disgreeing with you.
  7. You gain some you lose some. That's how it works. I've gotten both spectacular clues and rotten ones, keep on doing them and you're pretty likely to eventually cash out. If level 3's are too annoying, try level 2s, no Sara wizards or puzzle boxes and a chance at some animal masks. Harpie Bugs drop heaps of level 2's but don't forget your lit bug lantern!
  8. Your wrong, the pure will be able to use spec weapons and ko, the main wont, at worst the pure will get away. I see your point, but at 1 defence almost every hit the balanced player does will make a dent in the pure. With say 40 defence on the balanced player the pure is going to hit at least a few 0's.
  9. In the best possible gear, a level 50 balanced player will easily demolish a level 50 pure. It's the fact that the pure only brings a dds or maul and one-items, whilst armour comes in many pieces (helm, legs, body, shield, neck, feet etc.) that makes the risk much more greater, therefore balanced players are reluctant to take advantage of their defence level. This is why pures 'dominate'.
  10. OK, hypothetical scenario. There are two people, Hardworking Joe and Selfish Tom. Hardworking Joe works hard for his money, busy skilling, mining and slaying dragons. After months of hard work, he decides to buy an Armadyl Godsword. Boy has he earnt it! Selfish Tom is too lazy to level up his account. He uses real world trading to buy a level 99 strength pure and 25 million gold pieces. He got the real world money from dealing in the drug industry. Selfish Tom is walking along one day, in his bought character, when he sees Hardworking Joe and his Armadyl Godsword. He thoughtlessly kills Hardworking Joe, verbally abusing him as Selfish Tom abuses a bug to one-hit knockout him and Selfish Tom is rewarded with 64 thousand gold worth of items. Meanwhile Hardworking Joe respawns in Camelot having lost months of hard work, determination and earnings. Upon seeing the free 64k, Selfish Tom explodes. He angrily yells at the fact that he was given a free 64K, because he demands MILLIONS! Of course, never mind Hardworking Joe who has lost everything, since having consideration for others is the last thing Selfish Tom would do. Hardworking Joe is very sad indeed, whilst Selfish Tom starts sadistically whining about how the 60 million are his property and selfishly demands Jagex return them. Selfish Tom has no sympathy for Hardworking Joe because he is a heartless lunatic.
  11. In Fist of Guthix, F2P world in the fist centre. Player: Combat levels?
  12. 1. Depends on who it is. Most likely if the person can prove it, I will give them a fraction back. If they're a PKer, they get 0 back. 2. With ID hand in, no ID keep.
  13. You are a PKer therefore your opinion is worthless to me. In my opinion Pvp worlds are an epic fail because they were introduced in the first place. RuneScape should be PKing free because all Pkers are selfish little sadists who go to bed feeling better knowing they made someone cry.
  14. Sly_Wizard. I don't know how you came up with half the G.E. prices are wrong, but for your sake I've randomly picked five items and their prices: 1. White bead- 540gp 2. Fat snail meat- 93gp 3. Oranges(5)- 1,435gp 4. Chopped tomato- 23gp 5. Mithril mace- 293gp (These items were chosen completely at random.) None of these prices look significantly wrong to me. Why do you need free trade other than to RWT or scamming? On the plus side, there will be no more selling bad wine for 600k, no more people swapping iron scimitars for rune scimitars, ropes for abyssal whips or tarromin seeds for ranarr seeds. There will be no more luring, no more 'Jagex blocks your pass *****'. Very bloody positive indeed. See above. Now you're just being a whiny moron. RS HD was a giant step forward for RuneScape. Jagex had put a lot of effort into it and it turned out brilliantly. And as always, I'd like to see you do better. There was no skill involved. It always boiled down to put up stake, accept, DDS four times, switch to whip and hope for the best. And staking is compulsive gambling, every gp you gain has come from the inventory of another person. How? Elaborate. This is a big game. Again, I'd like to see you do better. Again, elaborate. Then you are a bloody sadist who preys on others misfortune. Take you 64k and be grateful, or leave. At the same time in the back of your brain (if applicable), you shoudl be feeling bloody sorry for that poor bloke who lost months of hard work because he was brutally victimised by selfish people like you. Now for my two cents, it has been a great year. It started off with the removal of PKing, a long overdue change in the game. Moronic toddlers and 'professional pjers' and what not just got cleaned out of the game. We had Summoning, the ability of familiars was truly brilliant (the macaw was my favourite). We had Fist of Guthix, a fun minigame which both PvP and strategy as opposed to staking. We saw The Great Orb Project, another skill-based minigame. Tings such as Stealing Creation, Trawler fixes and other similar things have capped off what is undoubtedly the best year in RuneScape's history (for anyone who has an IQ higher than that of an acorn). Brilliant.
  15. Yes. I put up an offer at max a few hours ago and I'm not sure if it's sold though. While all the people are screaming their throats off in World 2 offering eight figures plus for them I've just quietly put an offer at max. With CoinShare around and all these people who aren;t very wise, you never know. Gratz anyway.
  16. Meh. Once the price falls under seven figures after all the excitement and stuff cools down it's going to be them losing their coin. Works either way.
  17. Support. Also I add the 'worst offenders' (such as one player who all he did was pickpocket mages) on my friends lists owhenever I see a green dot I know to run. Then I delete them at the end of the game. Ice burst and smoke blitz both work well for me, again it is a combat-based minigame. Once again, when things such as 'omg safe nub' come into play we have the same old PvP problem and it isn't really Stealing Creation's fault anyway.
  18. 1000% support. What shocks me the most is that Jagex finally gave PKers their way after their bloody pathetic behaviour in the wake of 10/12/07. PKers were the only bloody 'group' setting up childish rants, 'rioting', planting mithril seeds, tele-grouping ice plateau, activating retribution and all that other nonsense. Now Jagex has unwittingly promoted this behaviour by displaying that being disruptive will help your cause. I so bloody feel for Jagex right now, we've got so many high quality updates such as Bounty Hunter, Clan Wars, Fist of Guthix, Fight Pits, Duel Arena, PvP worlds, Stealing Creation and more all to appeal those with a sense of PvP. Yet those true sadists are still acting like total dimwits going on the RSOF about how Jagex is an 'ep1c phail!!1'.
