If your calculations are correct ( and im going to assume they are) i just checked and im going to need 104,852 plank make casts and i multiplied that by the amount of gold lost per cast which came out to 104,852 * 147 = 15,413,224 gp lost from 86 to 99. Now if i do string jewelry from 80 to 86 what amulets should i string? keep in mind that that rouge trader has been nerfed so gold amulets right now seem like a really bad idea and also if you dont mind can you give me the cost of 80-86 doing string jewely OR would stunning dummys be a better idea?

yea i forgot to put bursting instead of barraging but u got the idea xD its not that i dont like it, its just that its too expensive and would take way to long and cost way to much to get the charms i need and by the time i get all the charms i need i wont have the money to get the lvls which would make spending the time getting the charms a waste.

Ok so i have about 45m to spend on a skill or skills. I was thinking about getting 88/89 summoning or maybe getting a 99 skill (other than FM/Fletch which i dont want because their boring and to easy to get). So what should i use my money on or should i just keep training slayer and my melee's and save my money for gear and stuff. P.S if u choose to say Summoning please tell me a good way to get around 9.4k crimsons WITHOUT BURSTING please. Also if 99 mage/range is possible with around 40m please give me a few methods for getting it xD

No offence but its pretty obvious you didnt read my last post right above yours. I stated i do love the skill im not in it just for the cape, Im not interesting in getting a uni right now because i need a lot of charms and im currently doing slayer to 90 attack and 85+ slayer and im getting my charms from there. I want 99 mage because its helpful with mage defence for things like GWD when i do go and allows me to hit more when im maging at places like Steels/Irons and Barrows. Now, i have recently done a few trips to barrows which resulted in my getting 1 v helm, 1 torag helm, and 2 dharoks helms so i have about 40m to spend and i was wondering if i can get 99 from that?

actually im easily able to his in the 200-220 mark with slayer dark using the guthans maging method and that has a -65 mage attack (provided i was using a magic ess pot) but still he should be able to his more than that at his mage lvl.

The Kuradels Ring gives +40 damage to all 3 attack styles therefore making it better to use for mage on metal drags inside her dungeon.

The most cost effective is slayer dart and fire bolt with chaos gaunts as their both fairly accurate and deal nice damage fast. On the salamander thing, the main thing about using a salamander has the ability to use all 3 of the attack styles. The Range method is good for Ahrims and the Mage method allows you to pretty much wipe the floor with Torag,Verac,Dharoks, and Guthan's all at a very cheap price xD

What can i replace the ardougne cloak and barrows gloves with? And what was your inv? You can replace with Ardy Cloak with any God Cape or God Cloak since they have a nice little pray bonus. The barrows gloves can be changed out with infinity gloves/mystic gloves or any other RFD gloves you have (should u have any that is) Invo: 4 prayer potions Whip Defender / Toktz-Ket-Xil Guthans spear(should you choose to use the guthans maging method here) 1 Super attack 1 Super Strength 1 Magic Ess pot(i have about 40+ of these to waste so i use them as they seem to help with the damage done by sallys/slayer dart) Spade 5 teleport to house tabs Rest Monks/Sharks *Note* Should you choose to switch out the Magic Ess and Guthans Spear you can replace them with food or a special weapon like DDS or EE.

I've been doing barrows the past few days and i found 2 setups that i really liked. Setup 1: Guthan's Helm Amulet of Glory Guthan's Plate Guthan's Legs Dragon Boots / Mystic Boots Barrows Gloves Ardy Cloak 3 Staff of Light Spirit Shield Ring of Life / Explorer Ring 3 / Seers ring *note* I used Slayer Dart and was easily taking out the Melee brothers which allowed for me to make several runs before banking with this setup. Setup 2: Helm of Neitiznot Amulet of Glory Proselite Top Proselite Legs Dragon Boots Barrows Gloves Ardy Cloak 3 Black Salamander Ring of Life / Explorer Ring 3 / Seers Ring *note* while this setup was the cheaper of the 2 i wasnt able to get as many trips out of it before being forced to bank as i did setup 1. Using Setup 1 i was able to get around 5-7 chests before i was forced to bank because of either running out of food or having no inventory space. Setup 2 caused me to bank more but in the rare chance i accidently died i didnt lose as much therefore resulting in less loss on that one rare occasion of lag spike or forgetting to put prayer on.

There is no xp reward at the moment other than useing tokens or training the skill itself to get xp in the skill. ( I.E Penguins, Xp lamps, Tome of Experince from randoms, and Diary rewards)

Aspeeder hit the nail on the head, Kurdel is best to use but if u start to find her tasks to get a bit hard or tedious you can downgrade to Lapalok until you have around 90 in all ur melees =]

Summona: Pro's: Gives tasks that arent too long but are still good xp and profit Easy to Access ( with the slayer ring ) Con's: Sometimes gives annoying tasks like the Turoths and Kurasks. well i actually just came back from a short break. i dont play very otften. just log on here and there nowadays. im thinking construction... but is it expensive? from what i seen on another post 70-99 con is around 60m with sc hammers so it should be between 60-80m from ur lvl if not less xD

Im failed at barraging because i cant lure right, from what i got told i can get 99 but its going to be on a tight budget. I dont really care much about getting a uni right now plus if i cant get 99 with 30m ill just use it on another skill or save it because i dont see a point in blowing 30m on mage if its not going to get me to 99 as even tho i love the skill it doesnt provide any benefits other than some better spells(barrage/veng which are useless to me cause i dont pvp or boss hunt) and a higher mage def which i dont really have a problem with now though. Im not trying to shoot down ur suggestion im just stating facts.

Anyone else? i decided to get 99 mage if its possible with 30m that is because im going to get 99 range through slayer instead of power training.

Hmm k i think ill just range some blue drags to get 85 range and some cash to chin at AA. What do you think is a good number to start chinning at around 40m maybe? I have void so i dont have to worry about getting that. This would be my first time chinning anywhere so should i do a few trial runs to get used to it?

Ok so i have about 44m and i want to get 99 mage HOWEVER i dont want to spend all of it i would like to save at least 10-15m of it. So is it possible to get 99 mage with about 30m or so from 80 about 30k from 81? Same for range except from 81/82 possibly if i can get to 85 i would like to chin nech's using Bladewings guide if thats possible with about 30m. P.S all i really need is a yes or no answer, if you say yes please give me any advice on how i should go about it because ill appreciate all the help i can get.

well i changed up 2 other styles as well as a test. Setup 3: Helm of neitiznot Glory Prossy Plate Prossy Legs Dragon Boots Barrows Gloves Ring of Life SoL Fally Shield 3 Ardy Cloak 3 for setup 4 i just switched the prossy/nezzy helm with guthans and took guth spear and whip. Setup 4 seemed to work better than the other 3 and to top off the good setup i got a V helm and dh legs (v helm on first trip and dh legs on 2nd breaking my 20+ bad chest streak). The Magic Ess pot seemed to affect Slayer Dart alot as i was hitting fairly harder than i normally do with a -29 mage attack.
