87 att 92 str 99 def if i would have bought the claws i wouldnt have been able to afford anything else that i know i needed for sure so i decided not to buy them, plus i do perfectly fine with a dds for a spec weapon when i need the extra punch.

Ok im planning on doing some major slaying once my neck heals up and i can actually play again i was wondering what the essentials are for good slaying. So far this is what i have: Karils top karils bottom Inf boots Z spear cannon cannon balls *note* i chose not to buy bandos gear or D claws as i use my ee for specs to heal and raise defence and im happy witth my current armor setup.

actully as you can tell by my stats um not 90 mining but i got a promo rock on one of my later floors and i couldnt mine it. could this be a glitch tho however?

hmm ok well any suggestions on how i can better my setup without changing my plate and legs perferably? i guess i can make a 17th attempt at my fire cape even tho i've failed all the first ones. What about TD setups without void as i accidently died with it recently and didnt make it back to my grave in time because of lag.

Ok, so At 99 defence with my current slayer setup im not gettting hit very often so i was wondering if it would be better to get D claws over buying my fury back because im not really seeing much of a use out of the extra defence. Current Setup: Slayer helm Glory Guthans Plate Guthans Skirt Dragon Boots Barrows Gloves Defence Cape(t) Whip Rune Def / Obby Shield Warrior Ring (will make this (i) once i get 90 attack and 85 slayer *note* Please dont tell me to buy bandos or sell my guthans for veracs skirt / torags as i use my full guthans set fairly often and i cba to spend extra money for a slight pray boost from the v skirt.

well i wouldnt advice attempting to tank jad because both his mage and range attacks have been known to slaughter anyone (hitting in the high 90's ). Just a suggestion im sure you do them already but whats helped me with getting better at pray switching is killing TD's.

other than slayer tasks its good for maging Dk's and Barrows =]

its also helpful for Tzhaar tasks (fight caves if using the special assignment from kuradel), and tasks where your bunyip + ee cant keep up.

according ro the tip.it slayer guide its 10k xp for 400 points so i would just get runes =]

i would defo say go for the runes as i believe its only 10k xp per 400 points im not sure on that though so might need someone else to confim it.

19.5m loss after selling the planks back (sorry i didnt clear that up). Well worth it though as it gives a lot of xp.

plank make to 99 should cost you less than 19m i believe. its going to cost me 19.5 from 86 to 99 doing mahogany planks.

yea i was getting the low alch value (94gp i think) for gold amulets so it didnt make alot of money back but it was still worth it tbh.

Actually you can sell the ammies to the rouge because i just used this method to get from 80 to 86 mage and it worked perfectly fine for me

Well each of the skills has its own advantages, while im not good when it comes to the Rares deparment ill give you some advice on the skills. 99 Range - Advantage: Extremely useful when going to arguably one of the best money makers in the game, Armadyl. Also is one of the best methods for Tormented Demons and Saradomin GWD. Disadvantage: Can be an expensive and slow skill to train making it one of the more painful ones to get to 99. Can also be very expensive costing up to 30m (chinning) or more to power through lvls to 99. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 99 Mage - Advantage: Allows for a high mage defence against monsters like Aberrant Spectre's, Bloodveld's, ect. when working on Slayer. Gives Access to spells like Ice Barrage, Vengence, and TeleBlock which are extremely useful for both Boss Hunting and PvP should you want to try it out or are a big fan of it. Disadvantage: Like above can be extremely expensive to train costing an upwards of 30m or more. Sometimes becomes very slow and tedious making it a slow skill to train, although is normally faster than range in the training department. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 95 Prayer - Advantage: Having access to the curses this unlocks a whole new world of training. Curses such as the Leach curses, Turmoil and Soul Split. Turmoil - Like a super powered version of Piety, this can make training a breeze and from what i can understand makes things super easy (obviously by my signature u can tell im only 71 so im not 100% sure on this) Soul Split - Food? who needs it on those easy tasks, Soul Split will do the work for you! eh, what am i on about you ask? the fact that soul split allows you to get hp back from your hits when its activated!! This allows you to use less food and makes those easy tasks a breeze. I see this prayer being used A LOT at places like Dragons and tasks where you dont need a lot of food to survive. Disadvantage: EXPENSIVE!!! yea thats right this can cost up to and over 150m, so while this skill can prove to be a life saver at times...it can also be extremely costly, but worth it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 95 herblore - Advantage: So by now your thinking herblore has gotta be the most useful of my list...well in a nutshell i guess it could be. Access to the Extremes and Overloads will allow you Definate access to easy GWD and Corp teams over most others who dont have it. Extremes can make training extremely (pardon the pun) easy. As can Overloads. With a higher herblore level you will have access to better potions in the Dungeoneering Skill making it a lot easier to "pwn" some of those hard bosses. Disadvantage: Of your choice skills...this will be the MOST expensive, at 175m+ (probably closer to 200m) this is the one that is most likely to break you. Although it is a easy and fast skill to train the likely hood of it breaking your bank over breaking you (like magic and range so to speak) is low. Be warned that while this skill is probably the most useful of the list it will be the one that costs the most. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 96 summoning - Advantage: On a task where you need more invo spaces and the war tort isnt getting it done? well look no further than the Pak Yak! Yes this little beauty will offer you more space and become your best friend! Ok ok enough of the sales pitches lets get down to buisness... 96 summoning allows you access to A lot of really useful summons including the Pak Yak (scapers best friend so-to-speak). This will let you have that invo space you needed but never was able to find. This also gives you access to the Elemental Titans(fire,ice,earth), Geyser Titan, Wolpentiger (sp?) which is good for maging, and of course the one and only Pak Yak. Disadvantage: Ok so while this is one of the 2 better things to choose(aside from herblore) it will be the one that takes the longest to train. The need for charms can makes this one of the more tedious things to train causing it to be a lot slower than the rest of the skills listed. Cost is one thing im not sure of but im sure it will be kind of high as you have no only shards/pouches to pay for but also 2nd ingredients as well.

they do still drop herbs and the herbs are fairly expensive right now because of the release of Extremes/Overloads so their a very good way to make money. Thats what im currently doing and its working very well for me.

Also i would like to say Guthans (IMHO of course) is more efficient than veracs is as the Healing ability makes a huge diffrence to food usage in the tunnels and on the brothers you melee.

Depends on what complex lvl ur using m8, if ur using C6 then yes it is suppose to be this hard on floor 2 because each complex lvl determines how hard the monsters are, how hard the bosses are, and how many skill / challenge rooms there are. *note* dont take my word for this because im only going on what i can understand but im about 65% sure this is correct

I guess ill try guthans method again because i tried the range method and once i get to the waves with the 180s + 90s im getting ripped apart because im not able to lure the 180 then kill the 90 in time before the 180 ko's me.

Yea i used the Guthans Method before and it failed me horribly because i wasnt ready for the wave 60 i believe it is (right before the 2 360 wave then Jad) and i got massacred by the 360,180, and 90 as i didnt kill them in time.
