  1. Yeah....I'm not too good at the joke thing. Awkward silences are usually the best response I get  The worst response I get? Well, lets just say that I will probably never be able to have children. That is if I'm not already sterile somehow from all the runescape I play lol :ohnoes:
  2. Is Runescape being ruined? In some peoples minds, yes, in some peoples minds, no. Sure, it is unfortunate that the old style wilderness pking has been lost, and that there is a trade limit - but people move on. I remember back in the day when the holiday items first become untradeable - sure there were less people there, but the market for rares was still a big problem in Jagex's eyes. These are just a few examples of when something has been ruined in some people's eyes, but improved in others. You will never please everyone. It is also foolish to say that Runescape is being ruined without us noticing - obviously there are enough people noticing, and moreover complaining. If everything else I say is completely foolish, at least take away the fact that everyone is noticing, and everyone is caring THERE WILL NEVER BE ANYTHING LIKE RUNESCAPE CLASSIC IN RUNESCAPE AGAIN. That is the meaning of the word classic, and even though people long for the closer community and for the simpler times, it ain't gonna happen while there are profits to be made. If this is 'ruining' the game in some people's eyes - fine, go right ahead and do what you want to do about it. People usually don't play games they don't enjoy. However, I personally believe that Runescape is not being ruined, it is merely expanding, and adapting to the new generation. Hindsight (and nostalgia,) is a wonderful, wonderful thing - but don't let it blind you and prevent you from doing what you like Phew..too much seriousness for me...better make a fart joke. Ummmm....ummmmm..........awwww, I can't think of one! I lost the game! :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:
  3. I literally wore through two sets of dharoks, grew my penguin, cat, and dog to adulthood got 4k blood runes and 5k death runes, and have seen so much pink, I have somehow gotten pinkeye from it. And my biggest reward from the clue scroll? 3 sets of rune legs, and 2 black dhide chaps :wall: And that was when I was last members, before the pking update and the surge in the prices of rune.
  4. Awwwwwww....Even though there really is no point in having 2 scrolls, it would still be cool. I killed ankous to get 86 left skull halves, and ended up with a grand total of 3 level 3 clue scrolls :wall:. It's safe to say ankous ftl when it comes to clue scrolls
  5. So, can you technically drop your clue scroll, kill a clue dropping monster like a turoth, and if it drops a clue pick them both up  Because that....would....be.....AWESOME
  6. Well, in my honest opinion, different amulets can be used for different purposes. You could laugh at a ranger using a strength amulet in pvp, and he just smiles and pulles out a rune 2h and k0es you. Maybe if he'd been using a power amulet, you would've been left standing with 1 hp, but now you're dead and he's the one picking up your sweet, sweet loot, or, more commonly, it would have made little to no difference . You can argue and argue all you want about the logistics of pures and pvp, and about accuracy and strength and defence until the cows come home, but the only loser is the person that has been forced to conform with the common trend. Everything has a purpose - it's up to the player to decide what that purpose is
  7. I have just restarted my membership after a near year long hiatus from runescape, and was looking for something I can do to give me a good taste of what members has to offer. Being a combat lover, I decided to get into slayer as my first members only skill I would raise, and am so far loving it, getting my slayer from 1 to 53 atm in about 3 days  I am not a particularly high leveled player (Level 98, with 33 summoning - am enjoying that too, but that's a different story,) but I can handle myself around the various slayer monsters relatively well. However, everywhere I go, whether it be fire giants, basilisks or bloodvelds, all I see are quite a few level 120's and 130's with slayer helmets, sara swords, bandos and godswords - and no one else really around my level. Now this is not a rant, flaming all of these high levels for stealing my kills and not giving me a fair go - there are always plenty of monsters to go around. What does concern me is the lack of people my level at these slayer hotspots. Is there really no low levelled slayers left in the world? Has the generation of lower levels been repelled by these high levelled people? Or are all of these high levelled people hardcore slayers who have started off where I am, with 30 slayer points to their name, and a whip in their hand, and have patiently done task, after task until they can wear the fancy slayer helmets, and make enough money off loot to afford their bandos and sara swords. It really does not matter to me - I love the initial impression that slayer gives me, and can't wait to carve up some turoths for their clue-y goodness when I hit 55 slayer (after this bloodveld task, of course. They keep giving me 3 blood rune drops    BTW, you can all lol at my lack of avatar and sig - I've just signed up and are still figuring it all out :wall:
