Guys, either way, don't count on any big rewards. There could be and there could also not נק. I assume that assuming there's no big reward at the end, could lead to enjoying the little breaks between skills and the (pretty awesome) exp. And who knows? You might end up surprised that there is a great reward :). Just don't count on any reward at the end, and then the end will either reach your expectations, or surprise you ^^.

What about an emergency? Or when someone is unconscious? Well you obviously can't pay on the spot if you're unconscious, that doesn't mean you won't pay at all. I'm not saying you shouldn't get health care, I'm saying you should have the choice between paying the tax or paying when you actually use the service. One could say that he didn't seek the medical help he was given, and wouldn't pay. One could also not have enough money if it's an expensive and complicated procedure. Lastly, one could die in the process, in which case no one would pay for the medical help he received. Again, the idea itself sounds great. It's just not feasible.

I'd assume war would go under 'army', in which case it would be obligatory. As for healthcare... So if someone decided not to pay taxes for healthcare, and he's dying, no one could supply any medical help?

What about roads, courts, police department, army, heck, even streetlights? How can you not use those? Your idea may sound nice, but it's mostly not feasible. You're right. Some are necessary. I'd need a list of taxes that are paid in the US to know what to say. [Edit] And by that I mean you pick which taxes you want and don't want, with some that are obligatory. What wouldn't be obligatory?

Not a horrible idea, but I too think it isn't a good one either... When you post a new issue in this kind of threads it just gets forgotten very soon, if ever discussed. If you create another thread, there's a much better chance for it to evolve to a healthy debate. Just my 2 cents.

Did you read my post above? The earth shifts it's axis like this EVERY SINGLE DAY. It always has, and always will. So no, it won't fix global warming, the only way to do that is not pollute as much. From what I understood, it's not that easy to change the axis by 8 CM. I could be wrong though, as I don't really know much (if at all) about the subject.

From (a lot) of personal experience, I can tell you that you shouldn't try too hard when it comes to girls. We just don't appriciate this kind of things for some bizzare reason. What I'm trying to say is, that you shouldn't be wearing something because you think it would impress some girl, but rather because you want to. If it's the "big flashy bling-bling"s you like, go ahead with those, if it's something else, go with that. (If you still would like to hear my opinion though... For some reason I like earrings that look kind of tribal, but only when they're very small.)
