  1. Yeah at lower levels I would stick to scans and possibly changing your eyesight (for instance for fire/[possibly] ice you could switch to thermal vision)
  2. Grim replies "I request to use the forge to gain knowledge, I do not bring war to this place"
  3. It is both. If you had a decent geomancy level I would suggest creating an easier path up the mountain that way.
  4. Grim carefully goes through the door.
  5. earth it is most likely because it is late and he needs some rest (he is [at least partly] human you know)
  6. Grim steps on the platform and rides down.
  7. Grim tells jen the location of the forge. EDIT: Grim pulls the lever.
  8. Grim walks down the tunnel checking for traps as he goes.
  9. Grim gives Umbra the money and then goes on his merry way to the infernal forge.
  10. @Icu how much money (would 3,000 gold work for you?)
  11. Grim telepatically asks Umbra for the location of the infernal forge. If he gets the location he goes to the forge. If he does not he goes out and summons a boulder with geomancy before pushing it around with force magic.
  12. Grim telepathically asks rocco/Umbra for the location of the infernal forge.
  13. Bah... grim buys a focus stone before going off to the infernal forge
  14. Nowhere he is just posting as of now...
  15. Grim goes to the ivory tower and asks if he can buy some focus stones.

That would be adrenaline most likely. I have had similar occurences (the most notable one was after I was hit by a jeep [not run over mind you] the first thing I did after waking up [was knocked unconscious] was picking myself up and walking towards my house) where I seem to have a high pain threshold which normally sucks for me.

Hey I am only saying what worked for me. Also I have checked it out and may post on it soon earth. @Ross I agree with you on the physical violence bit but not quite as much on the scumbag bit (well I think that it is very rare for one to find an actual scumbag at least in junior high/high school)

I would suggest not presenting a tempting and annoying target... if you disappear they can't hurt you. Also you should try just being a pleasant and mature person (in my experience it works wonders).

How does this effect xp gain in combat stats?
  20. Good god retech honestly it's a good thing that I was not on at that time as my retaliation would not have been...pretty. Anyways I am continuing on with this thread even if no one else is.
  21. Normally I would say something about building character but... grim goes over to where earth sage is and pops a few silver arrows into the skeletons.
  22. Grim re-seals the ceiling before asking jen "Well do you want to finish this dungeon?"
  23. depends on the size of the bar. One bar very likely would be good enough if it was decently sized.
  24. Seriously rocco get one of the red metal one of the green metal and one of the mystril (did you notice the fact that I was willing to pay 3,000 gold a bar for the mystril?)
  25. It's a mystril alloy. (Mystril is seriously hard stuff and has an insanely high melting point).
