I am routing my million man infantry army and 300 HAW's (as well as the 1,400 UMRF's from the aircraft carriers) to Astana. My Tactics will be to first using loud speakers on the HAW's to broadcast a demand for unconditional surrender (which I hope they will refuse) and then to do a three pronged attack. (while constantly shelling the enemies with railguns). Does he have any control of the airforce? @ Rocco you try to fly one of those things between 8 legs surrounded by a cloud of exploding pellets then tell me how easy it is also my HAW's could just stand still if they had to :D

The malaysian special forces is combing Kazakhstan for bases so far we have not engaged and Where is the dictators main army? ( I wanna see the look on his face when he sees 300 HAW's lined up against him) \

Kazakh doesn't share any borders with oceans. However, it would work if you docked them at China and did an aerial invasion of Kazakh. (By the way, the invasion is on hold until we know what's happening.) invasion? what invasion? >_> either way, just in case, im mobilising my military, and they are awaiting orders incase something happens or it gets out of hand in other news, russia has finished its research on impromtu stealth/invisibilty, with cameras and screen projecting whats on the other side. not perfect, but enough to obscure things from view in some cases. it is currently being integrated in to some of our... assets. our tier2 walkers/exosuits are nearly finished prototyping, they are much lighter, smaller and faster than before, at the cost of heavy weaponry (no railguns, rocket launchers etc). both tiers will still be used in combat situations, with the majority of ground forces being t2, with covering fire by t1. these also have the basic stealth intergrated into them also working on a new weapons platform, with inspiration from metalgear. dont know how long it will take to do, though. When did you start researching walkers? (just fyi I dont like having people encroaching on my field)

the max mph for the HAW is around 20 :x (but its fairly easy to do that on almost all terrain) and I dont wanna send in a small force and get it destroyed...

Why give up your possession of the Arctic Isles? To secure Europe. If you didn't do that, Doom would've invaded Eurasia? What the [bleep]? No, but it would've left an open passage for him (or anyone who might ally him in the future) to do so. Any attack on Europe now will either have to be an amphibious assault against my heavily defended coastlines, or an attack through Russia and against my wall. Besides, the Arctic isles are useless to me. Then would you wind if I took them? Anyhow If there is still war in khazikstan I'm sending in 500 HAW's (just fyi HeavyAssaultWalkers) Along with 10 million trained infantry troops and just for the heck of it I am sending in 7 of my 14 aircraft carriers to provide air cover.

[/hide] I still don't think it makes sense that you have the capability to produce 2 million of them a year. Europa update: Thats at maximum capacity. Basically, I produce very few ships and planes, have no tanks, and 90% of my war factories are geared for producing these things. The pieces are all designed to lock into place, hence being able to use Doom's modified weaponry. Basically, they can all be made on a production line, with each factory being able to keep 3 production lines, and having about 200 factories (A lot of factories were converted after I stopped manufacturing Exobreaker suits on a mass scale, and I went on a building spree about a dozen pages back and made a load more.) Basically, each production line creates about 35,000 per year. So about 102,000 per factory, 200 factories. Only 100 factories are currently active though, or my economy would get wrecked. Remember that these make up about 97% of my military now, with the only human troops being snipers. I'd like to invite all the world leaders to the Elysium space HQ for a barbeque. Bring your friends. (Felt like the thread needed lightening up for some reason :? ) If you want some more excitement we could go back into hallucinogenic war :thumbup:

We used to shoot rioters. Now we are a democracy so nobody really bothers. We use non-lethal alternatives in order to dispel riots. One of these "weapons" that we use against them is the Active Denial System, a device that was actually developed in the United States military c. 2009. It uses a laser beam that is fired toward a small mirror, which is then reflected (and spread out a little) onto a dish, which is then reflected into an even wider beam at a crowd. Since the beam only penetrates enough to cause a burning sensation on the victim, it is not deadly. However, few can stand the burning sensation for long before trying to flee. It's like tear gas, but much more reliable since it can't be blown in the wrong direction by a sudden shift in winds. Penguin, detecting hurricanes/typhoons and reporting them via news is implausible at the moment with the current mechanics. People just can't be on every single minute of their lives and watch this thread continuously in order to prepare for them. Natural disasters like earthquakes, however, would be plausible. are you kidding I dont wanna use that [cabbage] Riots are how I train my HAW crews to use the flak cannons (may or may not be loaded with rubber bullets) needless to say there arent that many riots anymore :( now I have to resort to either convicts or dummys to train my HAW crews (WOW I'm creepy)

Exactly how much do these things cost? If they have railguns and can run at 68 miles per hour they are not gonna be cheap.

You dont have one built in mine and i like to have options anyways the production of exobreakers continues at 50k a year I have scrapped the reverse engineering and the HADES project has 14 years left with 3 left on the E2S missiles.

Bah I can think of only 1 major downshift in the economy which had socialism introduced afterward the great depression and quite frankly that was just a natural shift in (american) capatilism of cycles of boom and bust (along with some very bad weather patterns).

I just want the engine from the ships then I will spend another 10 years designing/testing a ship that can hop suns.@RPG Then I would have over 800 billion dollars in disposable income instead of 160 (according to doom I am assuming that the money sink is infrastructure etc.)

I think the infrastructure is implied in upkeep also I feed my empire using hydroponics tech that I have been developing for close to 30 years now.
