Oh also what you may want to know about is that currently fire and (to a lesser degree) ice magic are some of the most versatile skills in the game (along with geomancy and allomancy) Though I am not sure if you get cold fire & hot ice right from the get go.

Well we had a vote on FTL travel (it passed) and now we are having a vote on stargate tech. Retech had to quit so the US is split up between various territories and sere and I just kicked the [cabbage] out of quebec. In your part of the world nothing much happened though...

I was actually thinking of investing of a space station on mars (well several) to act as a repository and a refueling station (as well as shipyards) EDIT: Oh and I would actually do most of the mining near mars (use a tug ship to redirect an asteroid to an orbit around mars and then mine at a reduced cost) (Well mars and pluto )

Actually mars does not really tempt me... It's the Kupiter belt and to a lesser extent the martian asteroid belt that I want....

Erm icu just fyi a rocket is one of the least efficient methods of space travel (if you are using reaction thrusters)

Just as fair warning icu I am going to have quite possibly the most advanced thrusters soon... so don't bank on being the first there.
