#okay so I'm a complete noob to summoning. What do i do? Ive heard from people it's very worthwile to train up, but what's the best exp, whats cheapest in regards to training options, and what are some important low level Milestones/goals/helpful/significant familiars? thanks!

yeah take the cash, you dont know how rares and expensives will go when free trade is brought back, so its probably best to liquidate or risk losing lots of money. depending how much it was bought for, i'd take 400m. after all in a few days or weeks it could go down by 10s of millions. who knows.

wel once pvp returns, have a look at the trends. they'll go up. As soon as they begin to fall. Literally as soon as they go down by the slightest amount, sell them.

Okay lets reiterate this, I'm not too lazy to get 20 agility. Id rather be spending my time doing other things if 20 agility isnt worth getting for this 1 slayer assignment. thats my perdicament. but i think i'm gonna go get it. Thanks :D

okay, and yeah, my combat skills are mediocre at best, so i don't think the chaos tunnels are a good idea. How would I go about getting the required agility level? because I guess it's worth doing because of the Earth warriors high-ish HP.

So Vannaka gave me earth warriors as a task, great you think, but I don't have 20 agility, and aside from getting 20 agility, which I don't have the patience to do for 1 slayer task, how can a complete this task. Or shall I turael it?

herb runs at aberrants or chaos druids if youre lower in combat or slayer.. about 80-90k per inv of Ranarr and above. an hour maybe per trip, coupled with herb farming etc.

So what's the best options kit wise for me to train slayer at low levels? My Combat stats are: attack: 24 Strength:30 Defense:40 Ranged:50 Magic:2 Prayer:11 Summon:1 I don't have a problem with making a decent amunt of money ( i have made 400k from combat training so far, so afaik, money isn't a problem, YET) What's an ideal kit for my level for slaying using both Melee, and Range, and also, How would I fare with Vannaka's tasks? I havent unlocked Machanza and Turael is too, easy. Thanks!

not sure, just thought if deaths become less popular and less profitable, people may start crafting nats again in higher numbers. Although looking at it, what was said above makes far too much sense to not believe.

could we expect to see an increase in nat prices over the next week or two then?

I got monkeys as a slayer task, and I know there's some to kill in ardougne zoo. However I went and there is no visible way for me to kill them. He even advises me to travel to Ardougne!, so there must be a way, but how? I don't want to have to trek to Karamja. Thanks

tbqh i don't see how i'm in the wrong if they act the way they do. THEY choose to make an account with the handicap, and i'm the one venting at how annoying and disrespectful thye can be to someone who is just trying to play the game. Earlier on a minotaurs task, I was there about an hour, and over the hour, 3 or 4 pures came, out of the 5 people i saw. My range is my preferred stat, but when I'm combat level 44 and I get flamed for ONLY having green Dhide.(40+ range) (it's 47) I was training other stats. I'm not sure if they expect everyone with combat 44 to have a stat above 60 or something but i think it's ridiculous that they shoose to make their account in such a way. I'm not trying to tell them HOW to PLAY, just venting at HOW they ACT. if i could, i'd remove them all, but this isnt my game, and i can't do that so i have to repect them and that's difficult when i'm constantly being harassed over my unusually high def stat and unusually low range and strength for my combat level. thanks for the ideas guys. yeah my slayer is 14 atm, i started last night. Im gonna range the druids till i get 1-1.2M the buy some essentials and things. then focus solely on slayer

okay, hate is a strong word. I just think that pures are put into the stereotype of people that generally don't care for other people and hide behind the internet to be safe from the consequences of being a complete moron. The limitations that presents just to be able to kill someone faster just makes more noticeable the narcissism these people have and that they actually would take that choice just to get one up on some unsuspecting rune miner. I'ts also the sight of the pure which screams immature little kid to me. Someone in full iron with a rune scimitar is just the most disappointing sight, because you can tell their intentions. I don't think they contribute in any way to MY game and MY experience, whereas I know that if i'm on a treasure trail or something in the wilderness or rune mining or something which requires me to enter their 'territory' without intention that someone will come along without giving a darn about my experience and just kill me to show off. That's the attitude that I dislike a lot.

thanks guys for the input, and i do plan to buy a cannon after a good deal more herb runs. range is my highest skill at 47, with everything else less than 40 I'm currently training slayer which seems to be going well, but on a 100k budget is 1k iron thrownaxes for 13k not a good deal?? seems like the cheapest possible option. But obviously i plan to chin at higher levels. and yeah, a cannon isnt an option in the forseeable future due to my poor budget and shopping list. Thanks :D PS: i'm still not knowing why thrown axes are so cheap?

So i recently invested on 1k of iron Thrownaxes, simply because they were cheaper than everyting else, although from what I've heard, they are just as powerful and efficient as darts/knives, so what's the reason for them being so cheap? If so, what's the most cost efficient way of training ranged?

I see why they become pures, but i hate them so much. I think it's more to do with the attitude, that they start bigging up their own fighting skill towards people like me, who care more for monster hunting and such than PvP. also the points which i mentioned are the dowsides, which I can't see outweighing the upsides, but it still frustrates me. so someone with 60 str with Iron armour would overcome someone with full dragon armour at 60 att/def? If that's possible, the game is broken. Strength shouldn't be able to do that.

There is something i cannot put my finger on that i hate with a passion about the typical 'strength pures' and range 2hers.. whether it's the fact that when i see someone strolling around with their Iron equipment hitting an enemy every 22nd attempt and getting hit back more. or the fact the think they can take anyone on in an arena. Sure theyre gonna do more damage to me in an unarmoured stake.. That IS what they made their sorry account for. I'm obviously not going to suffer the handicap of being removed of 1/3 of my levels worth of equipment just so they can show me their max hit with an Iron scimitar. or maybe even if they are training at chaos druids and require food? Mate, if you bothered investing in a skill called defense, you wouldn't need to even eat at chaos druids. What will a mentally functioning person do to you if a chaos druid can force you to eat? I'm by no means a high level, (main of cb96 and 2nd of cb43) however my defense and attack are higher than strength on both accounts, and I fail to see why someone would neglect the defense skill so much? discuss?

Wow how long'd you have to trawl google for that? :o On the upside the only time i was ever hacked, i got it back, but the password was changed multiple times while hacked and i simply couldnt remember enough of the other info to win it outright. the appeal system is a very good one, even though i lost my 96 :/

thanks for the info, but as i speak, I'm level 41 range. What exactly do i need to do Animal magnetism, and would i be able to do it at my level? Focus sight i am definately getting.

i left it when i quit, and now can't remember enough about the account to recover it from the hacker. I had it briefly a few days ago, but it was 'stolen' again. they must know more than me. Either way it had some good possessions and levels, but i've tried recovering a few times - all unseccessful feelsbadman.

like i said i'll probably train melee when i have ranged and defense up somewhat. I've made note of the focus signt and the chaotic chrossbow, but is there anything more short term which would benefit my combat and slayer gain? i remember things mostly, but am oblivious to any new updates since early 2009. thanks guys, and to make a bit of cash i'm gonna switch my training to chaos druids for a few days when I go members.
