  1. Fantastic guide, 10/10!! I never knew about the mossies, I'm going to go check em out with that obby sword thing- i'm reluctant to chuck out 5 mil for a sara sword, and dscim never makes me very happy, so I am excited to give it all a try. Again, thanks for putting this together!!
  2. Heh the "cannon users are noobs" whine is the same as all the other made up rules by noobs who suck at life in general... every time I go to BH its the same old thing- I attack my target and get a stream of expletives and noobcalling, for doing what the game has allowed me to do. If they don't like it, then gtfo. Same thing when people whine about you coming and cutting "their" trees or "their" coal rock. They didn't buy them- Jagex made trees and mining multi- deal with it. Every time I'm cutting magics someone comes and cuts on the tree I am, despite there being 2 others there- it doesn't matter- all that I have to do is move 3 steps and do another tree. Or take 30 seconds and switch to another world. People get too stressed out... Jagex made the cannon. I like the cannon and the wicked slayer xp I can get on certain tasks. Thus, regardless of how many suckas call me a noob I'm going to use it when I please.
  3. As a quest cape owner, I can say that this quest was definately not the worst. Quite honestly, if you don't rush through it just tyring to get it done so you can go on to the next thing, and stop and enjoy some of the wicked sweet locations ESPECIALLY now with HD, its neat. Sure, the jumping thing at the end was annoying. But it wasn't as irritating because of the overall coolness of the quest and the decent reward you got at the end. If there's any quest that really should drive anyone crazy it's ratcatchers... god that thing drove me so insane, and for what? Useless damn rat pits, 2 cat things I hate cats anyway, and what a measly little few k of thieve xp. Stupid.
  4. I dont really care.... never go to wildy anyway, and if i do I bring forinthry bracelet so they can't teleblock and enough food and stuff... not that bad... plus there are lots of places to get away from them now (BH, CW, tele places, chaos tunnels, and now with Jennicas ring you can go to one of the portals.) Definately easier than pkers.
  5. After the British composer Holst, and I was almost 15 when I started.
  6. Plus you gotta realize the benefit you can get out of the item and if it covers any minor price fluctuations- dragon axes for example- i hang on to mine because it helps me cut magics faster, and even if it dropped a mil, I could easily get that back in a day. It depends on how much profit you can get from the item- daxe helps me wc faster than rune axe, so its worth it. However, if I'm using daxe for powertraining at willows, then yeah... more to be concerned about because you arent making any money. If I have a rune axe that's 15% fewer magics i can cut in the same amount of time- approximately- so lets say I cut 1000 with a daxe- thats only 850 with a rune axe, a difference of about 200k. Again, this depends on your lvl and all, but just an example. Of course, if you buy a daxe, never use it, your wc is 60, and suddenly it drops 300k, then yeah, that sucks. And you were stupid lol. Additionally, there is the xp factor to consider- if ss helps you get faster str xp than you would with a dscim, and if you got say, 200k more xp a week with ss, then you'd have to decide if you would be willing to pay 100k or 200k for that xp. Think "if I could buy this amount of xp gain that this item gives me over a cheaper item, how much would I be willing to pay?" Same thing with other expensive items (fury, gs, etc.) If you are using the item to generate more cash than you would be able to without it, then for the most part price changes aren't as critical. For new stuff, dclaws and plate, well... lol you'd be stupid to buy dplate right now... but the same thing holds true for dclaws. If you can make alot of money pking or something, more than just with a dds, then sure, go for it and dont stress about the price so much.
  7. 5 minutes is great... i can work on homework and cut magics now at the same time. Much goodness for my grades
  8. Man I love this idea- add me to the list! Original, Great combination of many skills, and of course money making XD
  9. People worry too much about junk trading, and also underestimate its usefulness in certain cases. Say you've fletched your way to 99 on maple longs and you got a hundred thousand of them in the bank. Worth nothing to you. But lets say you get dclaws as a drop, suddenly you can get some of your money back on those bows. Now of course, buying 100k maple liongs on the GE at market price and using them for junk trading is stupid, but in the case where you've gotten junk through training and gaining xp, using it to get some money back is great- I did it for my dagon-hai and black elite. Furthermore, certain things like book of magic, can be bought at min instantly on ge. So people that say "oh if you sell dclaws for 30 mil + 60 mil junk you only make 30 mil", thats not true if you know how to work the system. And when the system's screwed up, I don't give a damn about exploiting it to the fullest extent for my own personal benefit. I have no vindictive motives against other players to try to prevent them from buying something, but hey, Jagex has created this, its how markets work. Price controls/floors always do this, they just don't remember Econ 101...
