  1. I believe the Edgeville furace-bank is closer, but dont quote me on that.
  2. So, im interested in pking, since i havent really done much since the old wildy was taken away, and i want to see if im any good at the wildy now. Really, all im asking for is some standard, not too expensive-not to cheap gear for both f2p and p2p pking. I already have most of what i think would be great for f2p: rune skimmy, str pots, r2h, stuff like that. But im totally lost on p2p pking.
  3. I know from past experience that yaks are some pretty good xp, but i also know that they are ver, very boring. try it if you want, but cannoning specs and aviansies are more fun. Cannoning because you are constantly on the look out for the high level herbs, and aviansies because you never know when you are going to get addy bars. With yaks you know you will always get bones, the hair, and the hide. Never changes.
  4. Aviansies, range slaying, cannoning abby specs (profits), running around runescape killing randoms things is actually quite fun, and the xp isnt too bad, but it wont be nearly as fast or effiecient as other ways
  5. Gold ore seems like a good idea. Anything else? I really dont wont to invest all my cash into one item unless it was a sure profit, which would mean it wouldnt be
  6. So, im thinking of taking a little break from runescape, and i would like to maybe try some long term investments (3-5 months). I have 17m, with 10m in MTK since i plan on keeping my membership, and probably 10m or so in items (whip, FSH, general gear). So what kind of items can you see rising over the next few months? I know that updates and such can totally throw off predictions like this, but as of right now, what kind of items should be steadily rising. Also, if you have heard anything about updates that would cause prices to shoot up (like new prayers/potions) that would help alot.
  7. im assuming u mean the mighty banshees and if so praying mage wont work because they use a Mage-Based melee attack meaning u would need protect melee not prot mage. Also you need the facemask+earmuffs or slayer helm to protect from the banshee's screams so you have to at least get to the point of the quest where u learn to make the facemask+earmuffs first. Woops, i meant the abby spectres...my bad. I have never killed the banshees except for the quest, and the spectres are the only thing i go to the well for, so my mind just automatically thought of those.
  8. Either i missed it, or it was never mentioned, but do you care about prayer levels? because if you could pray melee, that would open up more spots than if you just had to safespot it. On a semi-side note, if you can pray mage, you can do your banshee task, unless they fixed this. The banshees in the smoky well (smoking kills req?) will attack with mage, and the smoke will bring your hp down to 1, but not kill you. If you pray mage, then the banshees cant hit you, and the well wont kill you. I remember doing this before i had access to the slayer helm
  9. My logic may be flawed, as i have no experience sniping something like this. But the way i see it, even if you dont snipe the ely right after the update, leave your offer in unless you really need the cash. The reason being that some lucky people could get it as a ls drop, and then it would go straight to the ge, and if you were one of the first people to put in your offer after the update, you could be the one who gets that sigil. Sorry if this is just common sense :???:
  10. If it helps, you can still sell your members items as your account changes. I put a members item up for sale (forgot what exactly) then my membersip ran out, but the next day i logged in an its said "members item sold"
  11. Some people will say 10 herb and 5fish/coal, but like it was said before me, maple is the way to go. The logs themselves arent very usefull for profit, and i just put mine to fletching or firemaking. The real money comes from the nests and what they drop, mainly the seed nests. you gould get a whole bunch of guam seeds from them, but some weeks (like mine last week) could drop magic, spirit, yew, palm, and other high value seeds.
  12. well, i dont really want to lend for 24 hours so i can do barrows runs for skilling breaks, but i dont know the average hourly rate
  13. So, after buying my d claws <3: im left with 500k, about 1m in junk, and a whole bunch of maple logs from mtk (to help with fletching). Basically, im asking for what a decent price is to lend my claws for? I assume i can probably charge a little more when im not on world 2, but i have never really borrowed/lended any items.
  14. Look at Grimy's spreadsheets. They have gp/xp and xp/hr for most skills
  15. What would be good levels for me to start soloing rex? 80 magic (CoG + charge using void mace) 70 DGing (arcane necklace) I'd also recommend bringing a magic potion in case of a crasher. What would be the best way for me to train magic? (when i say best i mean cross between cost and speed) http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=0AhdHFDsdlxujdGN1Q0Q1Nm5PY2duLV9LdkRZZFdHQlE&gid=3 *faceplam* i even have those bookmarked

  18. So, im looking to solo Rex. I changed the original post to reflect that
  19. So, im looking for a change, and after remembering how much money people say can be made at DKS, i have decided to give it a try. Now, after reading brainymidget's and tip.it's guides on the subject, i am still confused. Im looking for some clarification, and a basic over-view of the levels and gear i will need (strategy will come later). My stats are in siggy, and i have 21m to work with. I would prefer to keep atleast 5m left over, but if i really need to spend more than 16m, i can make it back through MTK i guess. I am trying to solo Rex here, and please dont mention yak/ovls/turm. Look at my stats and my money to see why.
  20. Well, i dont really have any junk...so thats out
  21. I would have atleast 6 months worth of questing ahead of me to do this. I only do quests if i really need them as i abhor questing
  22. Dang, double post -.- my bad
  23. I can stand to be on RS for a while, but i usually dont have that option (real life takes priority)
  24. I have heard a few people mentioning using a cannon on black dragons, mainly right where they spawn. Is this a viable method?
  25. So, im looking at the 20m in my bank, and im thinking i want to make the last 10m for some claws. Most of the 20m was from cleaning my bank (lots of ppots sold, never use them) and the rest was pretty much made through MTK. I do slayer on and off, and sometimes i take my cannon to abby specs, but i never really do any hardcore moneymaking. I know the stuff like dailies and herb farming, but forsome reason i just dont like doing them >.< Oh, and i have a hard time doing any one thing for a long time, maybe an hours tops? unless i get off and on later. So how should i go about making this last 10m?
