  1. Assuming I have level 45 Dung, and have a high combat level, when should i expect to be let in to DGS?
  2. Sorry if this is the wrong place. But does the deflect spells deflect what would of been hit? So for example at corp the average deflect would be arond ~5 damage?
  3. Sorry im unfamiliar with this? What do you have to do?
  4. Got me first pair of claws! Thanks everyone
  5. This, all quite correct. Personally I brought as many as 8 brews because I intended to use vengeance on Jad. But if you have ovl + super prayer, you can bring something like 3 ovl - 10 super prayer - eee and have 14 spaces to bring random crap, such as mage gear (?), broad arrows for fletching xp (??) or maybe alchs (???). is there a guide to sidestepping 360's? (Like a video one so I can clearly see what's going on) I know there are videos of meleeing the fight caves somewhere, and they probably show the kiting of the 360s, so you could probably just look up "meleeing fight caves" or something similar to that on youtube. It is quite easy to explain though. Basically what you do is stand one or two squares away from the 360s that way they aren't able to melee you and can only use their mage attack (which is why you will have protect from magic on). As you see them using their magic attack (yellow ball shoots out of their tail) you click to attack them. Right after you do damage, you step back to where you were standing previously (1-2 squares away, out of melee range). As they use the magic attack again, you attack and step away again. To do this properly, you should have auto retaliate turned off, that way you aren't constantly being pulled towards them. Edit: In response to the OP, presonally when I do the fight caves, I bring 4 brews for emergencies, however last time I did the caves (yesterday I believe it was) I was able to do the entire thing with only using soul split to heal, and finished the caves at full health. Keep in mind, this was with maxed melees, chaotic rapier, slayer helm (on task), overloads, and using only deflect prayers to kill Jad in order to avoid having to deal with the healers.. Sounds easy enough. Would melee fight caves be something I could do casually with my stats then (I would be ranging Jad, and possibly the 360s.) I've always wanted a fire cape but put it off because of the time it takes. Yeah, I'd say you could do it fairly easily. Void does help speed it up, but will require more healing due to the lack of defense. If anything, I'd suggest trying to get a tzhaar task and accepting the challenge that way you can use the slayer helm and still have good defense bonuses from your plate and legs. I've never actually done the fight caves with void, but I could imagine it would require quite a bit more healing supplies if you lacked soul split. If you've tried before and have failed at Jad, due to healers or whatever, I would suggest trying the deflect method. Even though you don't have access to soul split and turmoil, I think it would probably still be worth it to give up piety and eagle eye, just for the ease of killing Jad. My last fire cape I got in 50 minutes while on a task, and I didn't even use turmoil. I always avoid usuing turmoil because I fear not having enough prayer pots left for deflecting Jad, but then every time I finish the caves, I have all my super restores I brought, and probably 5-8 prayer pots left, so I guess I really should be turmoiling. If i dont manage to get curses before my attempt, what is the general plan for the healers. I heard that you HAVE to kill them now.

  7. Sorry to hi-jack. I've always had problems with the fightcaves, mainly the time it takes to get to jad. So i was wondering if i could melee everything up to the 360's/Jad. I have maxed melee and have access to overload. Could void gear also be useful or would i need more tank gear? Thanks
  8. Hey there. I am currently level 45 dung, and need to get to around level ~81 for 200k tokens. I need to know what steps i should take from now to get to that level in the most efficient way. I am currently doing solo C6 small dungeons from 1 - 22, and prestiging accordingly. Thanks Tip.it.
  9. Thank you for all your responses. I certainly will keep at it and will be sure to post when i 'finally' get the drop. If anyone wants to check on my progress, my adventures log is: DivineIy. - As you can tell, it's not very exciting atm. :D
  10. Right, I have now logged 1100 Tormented Demon kills without seeing a single pair of claws. This log is SOLO ONLY and does not include the 100+ duo kills i have also done. In this time i have seen 4 shard drops. Am i getting extremely unlucky, or is this a normal occurence? I would love to know. Thankyou. EDIT: Since making this post, I have killed a further 250 demons, with no drop. I would love to know if any one else on these forums has experienced a dry period like this? I'm sure i dont have to talk to to someone/do something before the demons drop claws. Any reassurance would be greatful! Thanks :) EDIT: At around ~1500 kills i got this: WEW! Thanks for everyones help and advice. This shows that sticking to yor goals really does pay off!
  11. Why do they never officially announce things like this? Annoys me so much.
  12. Stuck as in, just superficially on other peoples friends list, or actually just standing there, getting killed, then standing in lumby some more type of stuck? The world have crashed, nothing is happening on them, the worlds can't even send a logout packet to let the other worlds know you're logged out so you still appear online. The games will be rolled back to the last save before the server crashed, not something done on purpose. With regards to dungeoneering binds being lost, fairly sure Jagex give those back if you lose them. Someone mentioned it here before, not sure how you'd go about contacting them (bug report maybe?) but I've heard that they do it. I see, thankyou.

  14. I am also blocked out of my account. everytime i log in it says i am already logged in, please wait a few minutes etc. I was halfway through a TD kill :(
  15. While i undertand using bones on a guilded altar is the fastest method of training prayer, it is also very costly. So, as an alternative to this method, would using the points gained from pest control and soul wars be efficent enough to make it worth the *FREE* time spent there. I am already maxed in attack, strength, defence and HP, and have gotten full void so the points would not be better off going else where. I would also be using the high level clans used for obtaining maximum points. Thanks Tip.it. I love you.
  16. Telmomarques is more than one person. /thread
  17. How/where do i find information on this zarfot character? does he have videos/posts anywhere which are viewable? thankyou. I searched youtube and found this video, it was hilarious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjGgtXfjj6s but seriously who is zarfot?
  18. I still don't understand how this skill is implimented else where in the game? I mean, how does it help?!
  19. I think some of you are missing the point of what a 'no-life' actually means. We could calculate it by looking at the maximum amount of exp that can be gained in any one particular skill and then look into the amount of hours an average human being spends awake. A good example would be the gertjaars/slayer exp gain. If anyone would like to work it out be my guest. I think someone said earlier that he is gaining between 1m - 1.5m a week. Obviously we need to look further into this than simple math. My first hypothesis would be that gertjaars is more than 1 person. Possibly flat mates, brothers, friends. It would be easy to pull off using the same computer and playing at reasonable hours. Another hypothesis would be that gertjaars suffers from a physical or mental condition which disables him from a normal, active life. I know he has YouTube videos but do we ever see 'him'. Feel free to correct me if any of the detail in my post is incorrect. ~Zombiee
  20. Using Turmoil or flash praying requires attention. Attention requires energy. So you get exhausted mentally. So best thing to do is lay back and just kill without Turmoil. If you do with Turmoil and you don't pay well attention most of time>waste of prayer points. depending on gear, it only costs 100k-200k gp/hour to turmoil endlessly. Definitely worth turmoiling, even if you don't bother with flashing. I piety pray melee and have my stats 120 + every kill. Trips last exactly 40 minutes.
  21. woah once again ridiculously good feedback. i do not have turmoil nor plan on hunting irons or steels atm.
