No...no it does not. +15 Ranged Attack and +10 Magic defense. I don't know if you can count, but son, that to me says that it strengthens rangers against mages. lol. Most mages don't rely solely on magic, as it's best not to. Because this amulet doesn't give bonuses to other defensive stats, it makes them more vulnerable to melee and ranged attacks. if they, the magicians, do not bring a melee or ranged weapon, they should be losing because they are opposite the triangle. Another +5 ranged attack with lesser defensive stats seems like a major drawback to me. erm... i dont think that you fully grasp the concept of a combat triangle. the combat triangle is: meele beats range, range beats mage, mage beats meele. kind of like rock paper scissors, yes? So, mage shouldent lose out in the combat triangle just because they dont bring another class's weapon to a fight. (and btw, not trying to flame, just in case you assume that) What are you talking about. If mages don't bring another way to fight then they should lose to range. They know they're weak to it and they should take their own risks. oh, wait, silly me. I thought he was talking about meele too. :wall:

hmm, did anyone else notice that at the end, the trailer say's,"free to play," While most of those scenes are members only, like the jad one, or the dragon forging?

Interesting thoughts. I personally think that there will be a whole lot of powerlevelers, so they might have a shot of being like Zezima. It'll be packed with tons of people trying to find the best skilling spots, and there will be lag. Very much lag. As for economics, well, somewhere JaGEx stated that in MS, there will be no urge for people to RWT, so I think there will be about no resemblance to RS economics. Oh, and as for the beta? As a pmod, I would probably be able to pursue it, and if i could, I would do so eagerly. :

its because it is a common drop from flesh crawlers, which are very good for combat exp. they drop fire runes in packs of 50, on average. So thats why.

im pretty sure people like hellounds because they drop clues often.

yes, but again, not everyody can afford or even use black dhide (myself included :oops: ).or forithery braclets. Some people are just trying to get some cash by doing treasure trails. Anyway, here is the basic play of the fight between me and the revs: 1:i see spell coming, i put on dhide(blue) 2: i see all of them, they cast tele block and freese me. 3:i pull out my dragon longsword, still getting attacked 4: i realize i have ecto-phial in my inventory, i try to click on it. 5: i die, losing everything exept 2 peices of rune and dragon long. And of course, protect item never occurd to me. #-o

Ahh, and but 3 days ago, I died cause of getting septuple teamed by rev knights. :oops: I lost my first level 3 clue scroll. #-o I also lost my chart and such. I hate having to go through that goblin dungeun to get to the professer to get my chart back. Oh, why did I ever complete the observatory quest? :-k

yes, i guess this is true.as a matter of fact, most people who think they are overpowerd and low level, and vice versa for high levels. Also another factor is that not everyone has 70 range for black dhide. Thus, low levels die. :twisted:

:wall: I can not belive this has not come up yet. Has nobody noticed that revenants hit high in every combat stat? Some PK'ers were pures, but were they pures in everything? Nope. :thumbdown:
