Where's No Lifer ohi? And what's with the double green098, Heimcrabby, and NinTendo Swe? Odd. Hey, found No Lifer ohi. Unfortunately, Whats logout was lost in the process. Poor guy. --- In game glitches : ---- Oh god, the oil spill got into my house! Knew I shouldn't have moved near the gulf!

Crunches, push ups, and pull ups. I do about 200 crunches every other day with my lifting schedules in order to maintain my 6 pack. I've managed to keep it all through the winter; so I'll just need to continue on chest during the summer (as my arms are a bit freakishly large for the rest of me) so that's good news. But my little story there is just to tell you that crunches DO work. I've never been fat, nor chubby, etc. so I can't say from personal experience how far they will get you alone. Push ups -- I don't do enough of these, but if I didn't have a home gym weight set I'd need to do a lot of them. Always good to do, 100 a day should be a good fix. That depends on how many you can do in a row however. Pull ups -- I carved two holes in a wood fixture, put a sold metal rod in between the holes, and attached the fixture to the bottom of my deck. A simple tree branch could do I suppose though. Also.. if you really want to (and I really suggest it) buy a punching bag. It'll greatly increase your knuckle, hand toughness and that's really very useful; especially in a landscaping field such as my own. It'll also help to increase endurance and vision. Punch till right knuckle bleeds. Without a basic weight set that's all I can really offer. Best of luck! Most important thing to remember is to keep at it, don't give up, and keep your goals right ahead of ya. ----------- Edit: Cut out CANDY completely out of your diet, no reason to have it in there. Things like pie, ice cream, and chocolate do not qualify as candies in my opinion as they have at least some health benefits/aren't too damaging. However, such things as Sour patch kids, twizzlers, and hot tamales are just bad news bears. Never eat them. Even now whenever I even have one or two of the pure candies I get sick, just because my body recognizes the damaging product now present in my system and wants to fight it like a disease. Civil war in my stomach = nausea. However, I do enjoy pie whenever I can get my hands on it, specifically apple! :D
  3. gah, lucky. My summer doesn't start till June 21st, at around 11 am >_<
  4. Superheating is really underrated to be honest. It's around 105-115k exp/hr for magic, and 110-120k exp/hr at the same time for smithing. To 99 magic with that method, however, it is around 110-120M. You also land 99 smithing in the process is the thing. Superheating gold ore w/ gaunts is what I'm doing for 99 smithing, which in turn of course, will capture 99 magic. Good deal in my opinion.
  5. I have about 150k bars to go for 99 smithing myself. Think I've eaten through about 100k so far as well, so good job. Keep it up!
  6. Solo merching is pretty easy once you get a handle on it. Personally, I do not hold items or watch graphs all that much, but I still end up making around 2m a day. I'm also against merchanting clans/clan chats.
  7. Interesting list, das. I agree with a lot of it, minus three days grace. Insert Tupac into that instead. Also, muse does not beat out metallica sorry. But other than that nice list ;) Same to you daxter76. Just yeah missed a few, z would have been zz top for sure.
  8. In the past two weeks I've put in maybe 5 hours total. 4 1/2 of those hours on one day. Put in 5 minutes of work today, and all of the sudden got 86 magic. Eh well, maybe I'll get 99 smithing by december lol...

The only reason this is being trained is because it is indeed classified as skill, and thus awarded skill levels. The few that like this activity, such as yourself, would probably end up playing it a lot even if it was not a skill. Making it as a skill was a very bad decision in my opinion, but I'm not commenting to rant about your post and make it into my own blog. So, I do agree with the fact that it needs to be optimized for solo purposes. Hell, bosses outside of dungeoneering have always been thought of as group expenditures, such as dungeoneering, but a fair amount of people prefer to solo, for a variety of reasons. Once again, this is the same in dungeoneering. I'm one of those people, as I don't like have to constantly form/join a group and to have to deal with those people who decide to get armor and whatnot. It's also annoying to have to join/form a party where we're all on the same floor. It'll just be quicker and easier to get up and go anytime at all the solo way. I could imagine that it's slower, so in all honesty I would like to see the exp adjusted to be roughly the same as a multiperson dungeon, however, it still would probably be slower any which way. As for the Better grouping system and larger stuff; I wouldn't mind seeing that put into place. No comments there. Jagex decided to make this skill the first of the now 25 skills to extend beyond level 99. Now gathering all those extra exps (all 104m total of them) will mean something much more than simple rank. Though as of now, it doesn't help. It's like 120 firemaking at this point. I hope the next batch of updates for this skill will see much improvement; mainly in the high leveled aspects and solo dungeeon aspects. I give the skill a 2/5 as of now.

Well, I planned on getting along with 90 smithing.. but friends wanted me to come dungeoneering with them, so I did. Ah well, still a very big milestone for me and just in general. Honestly the 2 then 3 numbers looks better than the 1 :P.
  11. And so the question has been answered! .. Levels past 99 for dungeoneering DO count towards your total level and show on the hiscores. Proof:
  12. Stuck true to my plan and played runescape a bit today. By a bit, I mean I played a now record 4 1/2 hours of straight runescaping. I felt exhausted, and have no idea how anyone can play for more than 5 hrs at a time. Anyway, what i accomplished this mothers day weekend: [hide=All in a days work] [/hide]
  13. Hmm, well I know it's not a major drop of anything, however, this is my last slayer task until I attack 90 smithing with the long arm of the lava staff. Been around 6 tasks dry of a granite maul from these things. Which is especially odd as almost all of those 6 tasks were 220+ kill amounts. 87 smithing now, and as stated, 90 is now atop my goals list. Right next to the "Buy a mothers day gift" goal. Speaking of, short break from runescape to best buy..

I think you mean Slayer. Lol! Thank you, fixed it. Guess my mind is still wrapped around smithing any which way

Well, I have quite a few little updates on my character that occurred yesterday. First off: 87 smithing. 12 down, 12 left! Now, I've been putting in only about 5 hours of runescape in each week, and that's a concern for me because it's not as if I'm super busy. So, I decided that the only way to get me to play more, was to train another skill and not just smithing and mage. So, I've decided to train slayer. This was the result of 3 tasks in: 1 more and I'm maxed melee. Hip-hip hooray! Now, on my first ever tzhaar task I landed this baby on the 4th to last kill I used the tokens from that task on another one of them, so 500k task. Not bad, tzhaar, not bad. Didn't know what it was at first, so I decided to screenie it just in case. Cool to have one of these, is it better than a zerker in her dungeon? How common of a drop is it? Well that's all for now. Next blog will most likely be 99 def/85 slayer if it comes to that.
  17. Little late with this pic; nearing 82 now. Ah well, I'm going for 99 smithing is the story. Made some major calculations that should prove useful to anyone considering 99 smithing by gold ore w/gaunts smelting. You can find these calculations on my RSOF thread <QFC: 48-49-420-60789465> (yes, RSOF) which will later be added to my site.
  18. Actually, you're wrong. I made a few posts on this thread a couple weeks ago on my 99 cooking progress. From 97 cooking I did rocktails to 99; and I tested the exp/hr several times, and it averaged out to 260k exp/hr. This is also with breaks for magpie. So actually, over 1M exp in 4 hours is easily doable. And I was highly multitasking, not paying attention very well. Rocktails are very fast.
  19. Should I be killing everything or leaving the monsters on the dead end places?
  20. Well, not to be a troll.. but he has returned! I've been dungeoneering in f2p with him as he's been soloing a bit and I offered my help. He's a decent guy to be honest..
  21. *sigh* any advice for beating the Hammernaut boss?
  22. [hide=40][/hide] This "skill".. I'm still neutral on the whole idea surrounding it. This isn't going to change the game like summoning, this isn't going to create a new innovative way to do something, this isn't going to further runescape's overall advancements... Yet as I progress I like it more and more. Hmm.
