  1. Thanks Cptbaker! This thread is Answered.
  2. As per topic, can I still use Babarian Hand Fishing Technique, when i am no longer Member? Thanks!
  3. Each orb takes 3 seconds to charge, so a full inventory gives you about a minute and a half of waiting at the air obelisk to finish 27 castings during which you don't need to click or anything. Thanks Troacctid! So its actually the charging thats taking time.. making it semi-afkable.. The constant running to and fro bank is still required.. :( Thanks again! and sorry to OP for hijacking!
  4. Once you hit 86, until then try one of the other ways mentioned. You can also try Orb Enchanting, its decent profit and some what afk-able at the same time. Sorry if I have hijacked this post.. I apologise but I have been interested in the Orb Enchanting way for a long time now.. Cptbaker, how is this method "some what afk-able"..? Don't u have to keep running back and forth a bank to re-stock? I'll be deeply thankful if you could elaborate becos I think I am missing something here.. I am sure the OP would like to know too.. Thanks!
  5. I want to try soloing Boss Monster for a change from skilling, my stats are: Att 86 Str 85 Def 90 Rng 76 Mage 71 Summ 68 Pray 64 Is there any boss monster with good drops that I can solo? Anything beside GWD (i dun think my stats can make it)? Any pointers is appreciated! Thanks!
  6. As TheWeirdo69 mentioned quite correctly, at 86 Att, 85 Str, 90 Def, 64 Pray, i could hardly make it 1 kill consistently.. Quite a few times, i had to bail out at half kill. Success rate of 1 kill for me is around 50 - 50.. And as Gorgoroth pointed out, at 1 kill per trip, its just not worth it..
  7. Thanks Joe.. maybe I should try it out.. just for the experience..
  8. Thanks Gorgoroth.. I was just asking, to see if anyone had experience solo-ing at my newbie levels.. I guessed its back to more training then.. :)
  9. Hi, I have very low Mage (lvl 70).. so I was wondering if I can solo Bandos? The rest of my stats are: Att = 85 Str = 81 Def = 90 Rng = 76 Sum = 68 HP = 87 Is Mage the important stat when solo-ing Bandos? If not, what is? I can train for that stat.. If I can, how many kills do ya think I can do in 1 trip? Thanks all! :)
  10. Well.. not exactly true in Canifis.. rather the underground tunnel where you head for the Abyss part.. I continued to explore the leveling of Range through bloodvelds.. I realised more than half the time, I am the only one there.. I know not if its due to the Agility or Quest requirements that restricted others.. Anyhow, I am still seeing if I can get a half decent XP rates at those bloodvelds.. and I must say things are improving.. Managed to scrapped around 40k in an hour.. after learning of a better spot to safely range those crawlers.. while picking up my knives and coins.. Shall confirm the rates after I stay there abit longer.. but I am running out of knives.. :(
  11. I was so desperate for xp that I range tank the bloodvelds!! OMG, that was so stupid.. :( Would it be better in terms of xp per hr if I cannon them? What would be the approximate cost going from 76 to 85..? Would it be cheaper than chinning?
  12. Thanks for all the replies! Between posting on Tip.it, I went to range Bloodvelds, but i am struggling even to get 40k per hr there! Is this normal and am I doing something wrong? My setup is still the same as in my first post, except that I have switch to using Steel Knife instead.. Can someone advise if this is abnormal, or is Range Training meant to be this slow.. Many thanks!
  13. Hi Tipster! This has probably been asked before.. but does anyone know of the fastest Range XP/hr without chinning? My Range is 76 and frankly i read its not efficient to chin at this level.. But I just want to level to 85 Range in the shortest possible time.. My current Range setup is: Head: Archer Helm Neck: Ammy of Ranging Body: Black d'hide Leg: Black d'chap Foot: Snakeskin boot Hand: Barrows Glove Cape: Ava Accummulator Ring: Ring of Wealth Weapon: Rune Cbow with broad bolt / Steel Knives Shield: Zammy book Please tell me with the above setup, where and what can I range to get the fastest XP.. I'd appreciate any advice but am not looking at spending time in PC getting Void yet.. Many thanks in advance. :)
  14. I think I was completing the quest about the same time as u were on it..! lol Did you first talk to the secretary? He would normally give u about 5 tasks.. did u finish them on time? After that, talk to the Director.. he would normally give u 2 - 3 tasks.. again, did u finish them on time? Its quite amazing you are doing 120+ task.. try talking to another company.. Its important to finish those tasks on time.. Hope i've helped.. GL.. :)
  15. yea.. Just turn of chat, or put them on ignore list, or simply just ignore them.. There are a zillion of these players around thinking their way is THE way.. not just on this issue.. No point getting angry or flustered over it.. :)
  16. Hahaha.. Well said RayOxide! Unfortunately I am not a Pro Tank Ranger, wait.. I am not even an efficient Ranger.. so its best I stay away from Greens.. and look for other ways. :)
  17. Oh, okay. I thought i'd be alright slaying them with my stats, but its just so buy most the time i didn't know if its worth it anymore. So i'd probably be best going to Greens? Yes, Green may be your best choice at the moment.. cos I think at your stat, it'll kinda be too long ranging Blues.. you might burnt out faster too.. My only problem with Greens is that they are almost always so crowded and I hate hopping.. I stop doing Greens a long time ago.. but otherwise good luck to you too! Btw, i assume your calculations are based on Guilded Altar runs..? :)
  18. Yes, I kinda agree on the part of using Bunyip at KBD or KQ.. I dunnoe if the rate of healing can stand up to the rate of damage inflicted by these bosses.. Personally I do not like to pray when training or doing mini-bosses unless its an absolute must.. I am more of a tanker mentality (although I need to work on my stat more to be an efficient tanker).. So to summed up: Bunyip = General training / Slaying EE = Bosses (eg GWD / TD etc) BoB = Mini Bosses Guthan = ?? :)
  19. Does it means that Bunyip is not suitable for Boss hunting..? Soon, i may begin doing some mid level bosses like KQ and KBD just to try out.. Can the Bunyip method works there? I hopefully eventually to do DK trips effectively, does the Bunyip work well there as well? Thanks guys, for keeping the views coming in..! :)
  20. Thanks guys for the additional opinions! Looks like the guthans method may not apply for high level training these days.. am I right? I personally had never trained using guthans before.. even not possible with bunyip as I am only level 58 now. Since I have a very low endurance level, meaning i usually wander off after 1.5 hours of training, I was at first caught in a dilemma of whether to raise Summoning or go guthans (which as i mentioned, I can sell off once i reach my goal).. :)
  21. Seems like the general consensus is that getting to Summoning 68 and having a Bunyip is a better way than using guthans.. Think its time I get down to those secondary ingredients for the pouches..! Thanks all, for helping me make up my mind! :)
  22. Hi Mike, what do you mean by a "bunny"? And can you summon 2 bunyips at a time..??
  23. Yes, I know.. i still have to look back and click food from time to time.. its just that clicking food is more or less just 1-click, compared to running to the ladder and going up it. You are also right on the part where having a bunyip might give me less involvement, lesser than clicking food, or running upstairs.. And no, i am not AFK-ing (as in going away and do something else). Its just that I like to concurrently also browse sites like RSOF and Tip.it, or watching a little movie at times. :)
  24. Yes gwasha, i agree with you on the pray melee part.. but i have experimented a bit at AZs and discovered that it is faster for prayers to drain off while praying melee than the Zombies losing agressiveness.. Plus, I usually like to read RS forums and guides while training, so to make more trips up the ladder require my fuller attention (I know.. I'm lazy). Thats why I have been carrying a full invy of lobbies. Normally my lobbies will use up by the 1.5 hours of training. I want to know in the longer run, and based on current popular training areas, is it more useful to have a bunyip or will guthans be sufficient? I know that guthans method cannot be applied everywhere, but I just need to know the general views on these 2 methods. PS: I am also aware that in the longer run, carrying full invy of food for training is not ideal.. Thanks! :)
  25. Hi Tipsters! I need a little advice and views here.. I am CB 110, ATT 80 / STR 81 / DEF 88 / HP 84. I am trying to level all my melee stat to 90, as a short term goal. I am currently training at AZ.. Should I: A. Raise Summoning to 68 and use Bunyip I would need to spend around 2.5M to get from 58 to 68. B. Get a full Guthan set I would need to spend around 4M+ but the good thing is i can always sell it and get something back. C. Just use a full inventory of food I am not an efficient trainer, as I seldom camp at AZ beyond 1.5 hours. I also lack the endurance to stay there for days continuously. So, what are your views? Which way would you adopt if you were me? I appreciate any views and thank you all in advance! :)
