Hey there ohai. We are mainly an EST clan but we do have a good amount of GMT'ers (such as me). We have a good balance of warring and fun events to benefit members that enjoy one of another. Event wise, we have daily events skilling or fun events. All events are balenced so that the timezone is good for everybody. But sometimes an event may not suit another timezone. In warring, we now tend to fight more towards pvp/bh, but we do a lil bit of warring in the CWA. We have a great clan history and have been solid throughout our 8 years and a solid memberlist, showing that our community is second to none. Our activity requirements are good as you require 5 events per month. No exceptions. - To become an Applicant, you must meet our combat requirement listed above as well as the following: - Must not be in any clans-We have a ONE clan only rule. - Must have made an Introduction on the Introductions to Gladiatorz forum. - Must complete an interview with a ranking member (instructions on application forum). Once you are an Applicant, you must meet the following requirements to become a Junior Gladiator: - Post a topic to monitor your progress. - Attend at least five events - You will have a minimum of seven days and a maximum of two weeks to gain your events. Once you meet the requirements to become a Junior Gladiator, you will be promoted and assigned two mentors to help learn the ways of the clan. Although they no longer actively lead they retain complete board and administrative access. Their word is law and they are to be given the utmost respect. Leaders: Leaders are responsible for overseeing the many ranks and teams in the clan, ensuring that things run smoothly. They have double weighted votes in policy decisions and promotions. Leaders are board administrators, global board mods, SAs in TS, ops in IRC (&), and generals in CC. Leaders have total board access. War General: This was a rank created specifically for the legendary Thirddegree. It has been held by only three members in the history of the clan. In terms of power, War General is the equivalent of an Advisor, but with a more focused list of duties. As the name implies, the War General is in charge of the clan's warring and mini-warring. The War General is a global board mod, SA in TS, op in IRC (&), and captain in CC. He has complete board access, including the Leader discussion board. Advisor: An Advisor is a leader in training and should be obeyed as one. They have all the responsibilities of the Rider rank, and in addition are required to participate in leader board discussions. With the exception of RoR promotions, Advisors do not have a vote in the leader board decisions. Advisors are global board mods, SAs in TS, ops in IRC (&), and captains in CC. Advisors have complete board access, including the Leader discussion board. They are the future leadership. Riders of Rohan - RoR acts as a council rank. They are involved in most policy decisions, and as a group may overrule leadership decisions. Riders are the main source of board moderation and rule enforcement. A Rider may approve events for Gladiator and Elite ranked members, and they may accept/decline any events other than official wars. They have default access to all team boards and are expected to contribute where ever possible. RoRs also vote on Elite promotions. Riders are global board mods, SAs in TS, ops in IRC (&), and captains in CC . Riders have access to the RoR discussion board, and default access to all team boards. Elite Gladiator - Elites are Gladiators who have distinguished themselves as exceptional members, whether it be through long-standing loyalty to the clan or good old fashioned hard work. The main responsibility of this rank is to be active on the Elite discussion board. Elites are expected to bring forth issues to the leadership and give their opinions on clan policies. They are also primarily responsible for taking attendance at events. Elites have limited mod powers on the public forums, CA in some TS channels, half op (%) in IRC, and are lieutenants in CC. Elites also have access to the Elite discussion board. Venerable Gladiator - Time based rank. Gladiators who have been in The Gladiatorz for 9 months, with a minimum of 6 months of consecutive service as a member will obtain this rank, provided that they show overall good will and behaviour towards the clan. Gladiator - Gladiators are members who have successfully progressed through their Junior period. They are eligible to apply for membership on any of the teams and may earn an Elite promotion. As with all other active ranks, they are expected to be active on the forums and attend a minimum of five events each month. Gladiators are voiced (+) in IRC, voiced in TS, and sergeants in CC. Junior Gladiator - Juniors are newly accepted members of Gladz. They've passed their Applicant trial period and now have full board access and the right to attend any event. As a Junior, you're paired with two mentors who guide you in your first few weeks in the clan. Juniors are voiced in TS, voiced (+) in IRC, and are corporals in CC. Applicant - Users are given this rank after applying and passing an interview with an RoR+. It's a two week trial period in which the member needs to attend at least five events. They are not registered on IRC, ranked in CC, and by default are not registered on TS (though on occasion the TS manager may allow an active applicant to register). An elite group of clans who were feared in the Wilderness and caused many clans to merge in attempts to defeat us. We frequently have joint events with clans in The Alliance and once you've got to know them, the members in The Alliance will make it feel like one big clan. Not really. I find it useful as you can fight people with the same capabilities as you, which is the reason why most people fight the same clans. But fighting each other about 10+ times, then yeah, it probably will
