ok so after reading all this only thing i can say is WOW... I spent 3 days getting stupid firecape to get iceworm tasks..... then after 50+ tasks i only get 3 and no staff... over 5 desert tasks no focus...3 jungle no hex.... ok so my point is people are lazy i was lazy i complained about firecape cuz i didnt wana take time to do waves. I could easialy beat jad just whenever i failed i complained and said it was to hard. Jad wasent so bad around the 5th try its more of staying calm and focused more than skill... i mean im so sick of people saying.. your 93 slay blah blah hes should be easy? 1. no.... jad needs range for him to be easy, i know plenty of high levels who have low range. 2. what dose having max skills or high skills have to do with looking at a monster and changing prays? nothing 3. only benifit from having high levels is making waves go faster and less item use... Firecape should stay a requirement becuse it is easy to get if you keep at it and learn the ropes

The waves was a big reason i didnt wana get firecape was so annoyingspending all that time and then messing up once and haveing to start all over..

lol lets see here.... 2 hours and possibility to fail for a cape.... ok so if u failed = 2 hours wasted... >.> 30 min to 1 hour for quest... depending if you use guide... low chance of fail.... and if u fail takes 15 min to get required items back... cape lets u kill monster for 10-15 mill drop.... sword lets u kill for 3-35 mill drop... 11 mill drop requires 93 slayer and actually getting the task... 33 mill drop requires high skill points and a quest complete.... time taken to get 93 slayer+task.... over 6 months time taken to get questpoints ... around 3-6 months... 2 hours and or more for 15 mill.... or 30 min to 1 hour for 33 mill... i don't see how these to relate... invalid argument try again.

Jad is easy yes... its just he can 2 hit you... people just don't understand that people panic and mess up. Yes you can go a fight against jad w/o taking any damage or you can get 2 hit... its all a matter of luck and chance, yesterday i had jad beat he was around 40 hp all healers on me.. yet that stupid yellow thing kept going on him.. this confused and stressed me because i thought he was still getting healed... and then the accident happened. I became cocky and thought i had him beat and instead of using sound and his movements i would pray mage when i saw the orb on his head.. or range when he stomped the ground. This worked fine at first but then the heal well the fake heal come on him just as he maged and boom 78 and i was dead. I was so close... i mean i could feel the cape slip threw my fingers and fall down the cracks jad made when he stomped. This pissed me off... i was so close.. so after a few hours of venting and calming down i started all over.. try 8. All was going good i had all supplies still and only used 3 p pots. I was confident this time ready to kill him. Then all of a sudden the range attack hits me? I herd no sound accept for the contact of his range attack hitting me for a 78. Panicking i looked around for jad trying to predict his next attack! Then the second range attack hit me finishing me off with the same as before no sound until it hit me... and then to mock me on such a fail... jad a peers out of nowhere to the right ... of the Italy rock. This dose not mean that i suck or cant achieve the fire cape just that i got unlucky. This would make some people give up but ill keep trying... i mean its only 4 hours a day with 2 fails a day how much longer can it take.... The whole reason of this story is that I'm tired of people calling others bad,dumb, noobs because they cant get fire cape. Its a lot of luck and chance involved and some people don't wanna look up guides because they feel its cheating. So next time before you think its ok to tell someone something is easy or there just bad consider this.. just because you can do something or a majority of people can do something dose not mean everyone can, we all have our specialty's and its not fair to judge someone you don't even know just because the majority can.

I'm all for high level content, but I do have to agree with this. The biggest issue I have with this is people with dial-up. You can have the best prayer switching abilities in RS, but if you have dial-up internet, you have a pretty high chance of losing against Jad. The lag is so bad in some cases that you don't actually hear the sound of what to pray, until the attack actually hits you. I really wish Jagex had taken that in consideration when they designed the update. Instead they should have made it so that while wielding the Firecape you hit double. This gives those who have the cape, a clear advantage. But those who cannot get the cape due to connection issues a much harder time killing, but still a way to kill them. If jagex were to take into consideration every person on dialup, then they wouldn't have many difficult things in the game. These staffs are meant to be difficult to obtain, and the pre-requisites for getting them make it so. People on a dialup connection shouldn't complain about not being able to kill Jad, as there are many other things they'd struggle to do. Pking properly, Corporal beast, TD's, God wars, the list goes on. If you really want to take full advantage of Runescape, maybe it's time to upgrade to broadband. its always easy to to tell someone there wrong when you better off then them... also why should people who cant afford a better internet be denied the right to do something? there paying for members... so they should have full access.

after 5 trys at jad for firecape so i could finaly get new task... jagex or whoever said "lets make firecape a requirement for slayer!" can go die.... i have 2 friends with 99 slayer... who cant kill them cuz they cant get a firecape like me...

93 slayer.. check 99 att/str/deff/range/mage...check money for runes...check ok lets go slay... firecape?... no check... ok lets do this... 5 trys later... im about to cut myself....

Lately i can't stand slayer especially when u get tasks like this and u see this in every world you hop to... there is around 5-9 people in every world who all happen to have the same slayer task or are here for exp.... after 30 mins of this and only 30 kills i skipped them...

had screen on half so i could watch you-tube then i maximised for a better look after video then this happened Then when i made it back to small the mini map got messed up and my pointed was 1 cm higher than where it clicked Still playing like this atm its fun...?
