brought void ranger set to wilderness to kill dragon for bones, all was well for an hour. 124+10 comes along, also killing dragons. suddenly pulls out claws with turmoil. Only lost my gloves and all my bones. lesson learned though i guess. Knew in the back of my mind i should've worn just dhide instead...lol

So I'm 15 Dungeoneering and have been using random groups for the lower floors on the Dungeoneering worlds. It seems rather slow levelling to me, I see some of my friends fly through from like 70-80..... Do I NEED to join an actual team or something? Also I'm planning on getting Rigour, will I have enough points at 74 if i dont spend any? How long do you think it will take? :/. lol

Approximately how much xp does a red chinchompa with 92 Ranged, full void, ranged potion, and 15% ranged prayer give? Anyone know how often I would miss? Thanks. (This is at ape atoll, unless...is there a better area now????)

Hello everyone, Can anyone estimate or explain how much more effective 99 def is than 85? I don't have above 85 because back when I used to train melee I got so bored and just left it at 85. Is it worth it to get 99 and just max out? I'm not talking pvm or pvp, just in general. Although I did like being able to attack level 99s in the green dragon area near the old clan wars place..Is it fun to be maxed out? (I'm also planning on prayer and ranged sometime) edit: sorry Kimberly, I did it again. wrong forum category. I really DID mean to put in help and advice lol, its just a bad habit.

Farm herbs. Check seed and actual heb prices to see which ones are most profitable. Generally, the good ones are the higher levelled ones: ranarr, snapdragon, toadflax kwuarm in no particular order. If you are in no hurry, I'd plant them well ahead (2days or so) not checking health before BXPW. Sometimes, a tree takes a lot longer than the usual time to grow. To be on the sure side, plant well ahead, pay farmers if you want to. Okay, thanks. Also, is killing creatures for seed drops worth the time or should I exclusively buy them..?

Is it possible to get rich off of farming and HOW? I only ever did trees for quest requirements so I have 63. I don't feel like RCing because when I came back i saw natures were like 130 each...bleh. edit: for double xp weekend should I plant all my trees the day before and then itll just give me 2.7x exp when I go check them?

Another quick question about bots and bans. Yes, I know I ask too many questions, but I'm still deciiding whether or not to resubcribe. I know a player who botted slayer, and a result got very very high combat stats as well. However he did not always bot, he isn't an account that just bots 1-99 woodcutting at level 3 for example. Does Jagex reset stats or ban people like him? I dont know because they dont release ban lists anymore (?). I know theres a lot of bots, but all I want to know is if they punish SOME people atleast, because then I'm reassured that being 100% legit is worth it and botting isn't worth the chance (how ever small) of being banned. TLDR - I know they punish level 3 wc bots,etc pretty quick and harshly when they find them, but do they punish normal high level players who decided to bot?

The ability to change names mens no one gives a flying cabbage about who is on the highscores anymore, because no one knows who anyone is for sure 100%. theyre all bots anyways

Toad was being sarcastic, or at least I really hope s/he was. I think I speak for the majority here when I say that we're all a bit fed up of the doomsday predictions when they actually don't have much substance. This game is still fun, there's a LOT of content and things to do, and actually, when you think about it, the bots have only infringed on a tiny part of that. Luckily, that particular discussion has died down a bit now, and people have come to accept that. Eh, in any case, I'm still going to be here, grinding away. EDIT: I was there when free trade went. What people are saying now is but a smidgen on what people were saying then. I think Runescape is a good game overall, good value for money, we don't pay seperately for content expansions. Every game has bots, people act like there are no bots in other games. I should probably stop reading the forums, ignorance is bliss?

Whats the point of me setting a game goal of 90+ Runecrafting or 99 Ranged when I know in my mind that bots are back and can do all that 24/7 while regular players are away from the computer? I mean, I would know that I'm legit, but not other people. The only thing you can't bot is the Quest Cape (+1 for you questers, haha). Part of the game is other people seeing your cool stuff (as stupid as that seems, the way I wrote it).. I posted something else a few days ago and I will say again that I think its awesome that the wilderness is 100% dangerous again and free trade is back. But whatever, I guess you can't have everything. Also, about the people on the forums predicting "Runescape Doomsday", I think they're exaggerating, don't you? Death-of-game predictions happen all the time with every game, and it never happens when they say it will. Runescape will live on, even with the flaws such as botting and what some people see as Jagex being too money oriented, RS receives tons of mostly decent new content every month. The player community isn't great, but it could be worse *cough* World of Warcraft... Everyone hates bots, but you do have to admit that its fun to kill them at green dragons, or lure them when possible. I want to know what YOU think. Also, sorry my thread turned into kind of a rant/speech.

Hi all, I haven't been on here or RS for over a year, I'll be having a lot of free time for the next while so I'm considering subbing for RS again. I know free trade is back and that there are A LOT of bots in f2p. is this the same case in P2P? I dont mind bots at green drags because I can just take 'em out, but like, fishing bots? if so, how many? I have lots of good memories of RS and still have a few online friends that play. Im all for free trade and wilderness but if there are the same amount of bots in P2P as F2P then I might have to reconsider... thanks

Hi,i know a bit about f2p pking. I would say dont do the quest because it will level up your defence and the monsters in the dungeon are quite low leveled and will be useless to you very quickly as you level up.

It depends if you plan on doing 1v1 or group/hybrid pking. If 1v1 either get a high ranged level or do monkey madness/lost city with 60 attack and high strength. Stay 1 def and get 44 or 52 prayer (eagle eye,smite). You could just level everything up and stay 1 def,thats good too. I'll list the stats i have planned for my own pure: -60 attack -85 or 90+ strength -85 or 94 magic -99 ranged -1 defence -44 prayer -? HP -1 summoning

Hi, i can give you the situation as it is right now on bh and pvp. Zerkers are BY FAR the most popular and effective pures right now, since they can get the new prayer called Turmoil which makes them nearly unstoppable if theyre maxed. Some other popular ones are range/mage tanks, 1 def with 99 range, and 20 def with melee. 20 def isnt so popular anymore though,its either 1 or 45 def usually. If youre f2p, make a pure with high strength and range,40 attack, and 1 defence. prayer is up to you

@ the above post where Poopingman calls the other guy a "cretin" - Yes i agree that skills are easier these days but dont kid yourself, a 99 is STILL 13 million experience and takes time to get, so dont call us names for being better at the game than you are. Also, it doesnt matter how old you say your account is,its how much fun or accomplishments you get in/from the game.
