I was also 124 with untrimmed 99 attack, but now i have 99 mage and nearly 99 str and hp so its all good lol, but i agree skillcapes are judged too much these days. its not all about 99's EDIT: i just read that your account is 9 years old with only 1 skillcape, not to be mean but that is quite bad compared to most people, although i do know where your coming from with the insults from other players n stuff

fletching is the least admirable, its worse than cooking because it requires no money. it makes money, therefore cooking is slightly more respectable than fletching. I see untrimmed fletching everywhere, it disgusts me that people get fletching just to say they have a 99

One of my friends has gone from 50m to over 1b in a few months and become a master Flip Merchanter. He does it honestly tho and doesnt manipulate prices. He doesnt even play that much, just goes on to do his flipping and then does events with our clan. Wish i was rich @_@....

Probably never or not any time soon. There is less santa's in the game every day which raises prices and also inflation increases prices. But if you buy them you're basically guarenteed to make profit anyways because theyre always going up. (usually). --------> im not an expert though

Even though im not a fan of defence, i would have to say youre right and that defense is the most useful.

I was at MSSW4, i was actually unoficially leading a group of players and we outnumbered everyone else like atleast 5-1. We were massing in the wilderness at one point ( pvp world) and another site logged in right where we were and they got dropped in about 1 minute. :o

sorry but with 20m even the cheapest method (alching) is not possible. you could pest control or soul wars though. Alching these days from 75 to 99 would cost more around 35-40m. i would know >_>

i keep my def at 85 for a reason, keeps my combat lower and i figure 85 def isnt much worse than 99. I will never get 99 defence,maxed melee is overrated. As for pures, most of them have mains too so they just insult you to make you mad. >_>

3rd post gf yall. Anyways, i found the 1st article quite boring, but the 2nd one really interested me. This is because I also play runescape because I'm curious about future game content. However, some people say they dont even like the game, but they play it. I like playing Runescape, I like the sense of accomplishment I get from levelling up. I was always a fan of role playing games, and this one has become my favorite because it NEVER ENDS.

I was surprised that Prayer is more common than i thought it was,also I didnt think Magic was so common, because it costs you a handful of money to get 99 no matter which way you do it.

That quest took me about 4 hours WITH a guide lol..very painful quest,almost gave up. I did it just last week, it may not be the longest quest but i think its the hardest to complete.

Hi, pking has improved a bit, the bounty worlds are almost like the old wilderness except that there are still alot of idiots out there, but i guess there always were. They cant pj you anymore though if you attack someone, but the bad thing is no one can pj your attacker either if someone rushes you. The pvp worlds (seperate from bounty worlds) are 100% risk, which i find very enjoyable, because when you kill some1 they lose everything and youre almost guarenteed a good profit. The only thing missing is the nostalgic feeling of the old wilderness, but it has improved quite a bit from 2008. If you post a reply to this message, dont expect me to reply to it because i barely login to tip.it. But ya, if youre not sure if youll like it or not,ask some friends' opinions,watch videos,or try it out yourself. PS - inflation has caused everything to increase in price.

The Excl interview was boring, and in reply to what I think about Dec 10 2007, I will never,ever, forgive Jagex for ruining old-skool rs!Thats why I dont play as much anymore. Runescape was the best game, even with autoers and rwt, those things added to the fun. Runescape is doomed to a future of meaningless and useless upgrades that nobody wants, such as the graphics update of the weapons. No one can honestly say they like the new weapon animations (most of the weapons anyways.) And if you do you're just a suckup. Thas my view. Runescape is going down the drain but Jagex covers it up with lots of content additions.

I see D claws as basically cheating and Jagex shouldnt have made a weapon like that. It basically means you have no skills and cant fight with normal gear.

Equipment doesnt matter as much as some other stuff ----> like make sure you're using your strength and attack prayers while training since theres an altar upstairs for free recharge, you're already useing potions which is good. The last thing that would help is get your strength up, this ofcourse will make you hit higher, maybe just get it to 80. Also wear the salve amulet from the Haunted Mine quest, itll make you hit harder on zombies.

I suggest train your ranged to 61, buy a rune crossbow, and go kill green dragons and sell the hides and bones that you get.

If you want to become a pker yourself, I suggest stay 70 defense while raising all your other stats, this will keep your combat level from rising too much while giving you more offensive power. :D

3 tries, one try at 95 combat, one try at about 105 combat and i finally got the cape at 117 combat :s I was 86 ranged when i got the cape, I always panic at jad but i won in the end :D
