  1. 91 Herblore from 64 would cost about 71.5M (roughly 13 gp/xp) if you just made Super Attack potions. The next best potion is Zamorak brews but they cost about 20 gp/xp right now. Super Attacks are by far the best cost-effective choice. All of the extreme potions are under 20 gp/xp right now except for Extreme Strength (~51 gp/xp!) and Extreme Defence (~21.5 gp/xp) If you ever plan on using the extremes or even overload, I would recommend doing Super Attacks til you can make extremes. Then make extremes in equal amounts. I believe if you made extremes only from when you can til lvl 99, the best option is to make about 3k of each, then make 3k overloads when you can. Overloads are about 13.5 gp/xp I believe (but I'm not 100% sure about that). Good luck with 91 herb.
  2. ^this^ There is absolutely no reason that you should be able to potentially loot millions for killing a player risking only 76k. Talk about a massive influx of gp into the game and thus inflation. PvP started out as a zero sum game where a person only looted what the other person was wearing and lost. The problem with the old system was that people were using it to RWT so Jagex had to change it. The problem was that they changed it to the current system where you could loot more than what the other person was wearing. The current system is flawed because its so easily to manipulate and too many people are 76k tricking. The best solution to this is making so you can only loot the value that your opponent is carrying.
  3. The majority of Free/Members polls only average 110K voters. Out of the however many millions of accounts Jagex says log on weekly that just isn't enough to make an honest assumption about the attitude of the players. Wrong. Statistically, 110k votes is more than a large enough sample size to get a proper view of the entire base. Polls that you hear about on TV usually sample 1,000-3,000 people and their margin of error is almost always less than 5%. With 110k votes, the margin of error would be well under 1%. I think there needs to be much more inclusion of player polls. Don't they have the player mods and high level players giving feedback about how the game needs improvement? What I want to know is how involved these players are in future updates. They need to be consulted on such things like making extreme potions untradeable and unavailable in pvp. Yeah, they might get 'insider information' and use it to make money, but the easy solution to that is they can only participate in these discussions if they agree to temporary GE freezes for their character.
  4. I agree with this to a certain extent. Combat should be about more than just a few clicks. But the problem is that Runescape has such a limited range of weapon and armor sets that the battles are essentially decided before it even begins.
  5. ^worst post of the day^ Yeah, phooey to those players who spent time on their characters. Where do I sign up for a perfect pk pure that I don't have to invest time in?
  6. Congrats on 86 RC. You sure are blitzing your way to 91. PS: I see my name on there... and a few others I recognize.
  7. I started RS way back before crackers and was lucky enough to open a few of them. I actually got rid of my phats shortly after because of lack of bank space and stopped playing for a long time. I came back in time to get bunny ears and was around for the introduction of RS2. I bought a couple phats around that time and continued to play for a long while. I made a ton of money with herblore (~80M) and a good amount after 91 RC. I used to buy and sell everything, which added up quickly and I stopped playing about 2 years ago with my current bank (minus some things). So yeah, I benefited from starting a long while back. No thanks on the trade. I'm not a fan of combat stuffs.
