  1. Really not sure - might be just a myth from Runewiki but I've never come across that even before.
  2. Hey guys, welcome to the thread! I do apologize for the bit of drama that you may have just witnessed, and consequently you guys didn't get as much light as you deserved. However it is a rarity, and hopefully we'll get to know you a lot more! Cool stats, and it's great to hear from you! Once again, welcome! Isthatok That's for bosses hm? The highest level regular monster in f2p would be a level 169 hill giant, from what I've seen. There might be higher but idk. Before the update it would have been a level 203 mercenary leader whom spawns tier 11 NPCs. But now that's gone and the max is what, tier 5? <_< Yup. Mercs are really easy now, but I do believe they still go up to T11 (spawning T5 or T6 now though), and I once had a glutton level 209 before then but now they've reduced the hitpoints on those things. I've also seen level 178 skeletons but there could definitely be higher :P I was really surprised today when we came upon these bosses - it was completely unprecedented.
  3. @z6 Frankly I don't care what you're saying to defend yourself, nor do I care as to whether or not you have ever been botting, but if you're just going to be arrogant as hell and completely disrepect / speak negatively of just about anyone with higher or lesser stats than you have (namely, Tezaki, but as well as anyone else in the clan chat), I really don't give a damn about you.
  4. List updated: http://www.runehead.com/clans/ml.php?clan=top250f2p&skill=Overall Hopefully no complications this time.
  5. Sonic, I had no idea you were green in game :o Anyway lol, this is quite off topic but I found this following snapshot of time to be quite funny.
  6. Congratz, Mackenzie! I actually came to an absolute minimum 63 seconds per load on air tiaras, which works to 18.6kph (even better!) - It should be pretty easy to keep at least 16-17kph even without paying attention like you said. Yet better, I came to a minimum 79 seconds per load on earths, which works out to 19.3kph. Good stuff without setting fire to the cash pile (*cough* Nuff *cough*)
  7. Seriously don't know why it randomly fails to update certain names. Hope it worked this time. http://www.runehead.com/clans/ml.php?clan=top250f2p&skill=Overall
  8. Stab works too. Just if you get unlucky the battle gets pretty intense.
  9. It used to be two ticks, I believe. List updated: http://www.runehead.com/clans/ml.php?clan=top250f2p&skill=Overall
  10. 18 bones in 12 seconds? 12/18 = 0.667 seconds per bone. One game tick is 0.606 seconds, so unfortunately I cant confirm your statement to be true. It's still 1 game tick per bone.
  11. Well, let's take a closer look, for the several of you who possess curious souls. Disclaimer: This explanation is extremely technical. 1) Arkhie was tracked on February 21 at 16:52 with 1,457,861 prayer xp. We'll call this Point A. 2) Arkhie was tracked on February 23 at 12:00 with 2,635,895 prayer xp; a gain of +1,178,034. We'll call this Point B. 3.1) It is a fact that she could have reached the second milestone (2,635,895 xp) anytime between these two time stamps, but no sooner than the minimum duration required to get 1,178,034 prayer xp after Point A. 3.2) The absolute humanly maximum number of big bones that can be buried per hour in F2P is approximately 5,200, at the very highest. This yields a rate of 5,200 x 15 = 78,000 prayer xp per hour in F2P. 3.3) Therefore, the absolute minimum time it would take an F2P player to get 1,178,034 prayer xp is 15.103 hours. For Arkhie this would mean 15.103 hours after the timestamp at Point A. However, there is still a small possibility that Arkhie would have been logged on for just under the six hour log when Runtracker updated on February 21 - therefore having already gained six hours worth of unrecorded xp at the time of the Runetrack update. This pushes the minimum time back to 9.103 hours after Point A. 3.4) As a result, the earliest possible time for Arkhie to reach her xp at Point B is 9.103 hours after the Point A timestamp - effectively February 22 at 1:58. We'll call this Point C. 4) Arkhie was tracked on February 27 at 19:03 with 13,034,444 prayer xp. We'll call this Point D. This timestamp marks the latest possible instant that Arkhie could have achieved 99 prayer (13,034,431 xp). 5.1) The maximum possible time taken for Arkhie to go from her initial xp reading at Point A to her final xp reading at level 99 can be expressed as Time at Point D minus Time at Point C = 5 days, 17 hours and 5 minutes or 5.7118 days. 5.2) The xp gained in total, or from Point A or C to Point D is 13,034,444 - 1,457,861 = +11,576,583 total xp gain. 5.3) 11,576,586 xp over a time period of 5.7118 days simplifies to 2,026,784.2 xp per day, at the very slowest. 5.4) Assuming Arkhie played for 24 hours a day, 2,026,784.2 xp per day over a period of 24 hours simplifies to 84,449 xp per hour, or 5,888 big bones per hour. 6) Therefore, for Arkhie to have gained said experience in the said time period, she must have received 84,449 prayer xp per hour over a period of just under five and a three quarter days, nonstop. Since we know that the maximum humanly possible xp rate for prayer in F2P is only 78,000 xp per hour, Arkhie was undoubtedly P2P, or in a very unlikely case, botting at this point (see #7). 7.1) To check if it may be possible to obtain 84,449 xp per hour from botting, we do not have any sources to do so, but we can come to an estimate. 7.2) First of all, one load consists of 28 big bones at best in F2P, or 28 x 15 = 420 prayer xp per load. These can be buried at a maximum speed of one game tick per unit, which happens to be 0.606 seconds at best. 28 big bones x 0.606 seconds each = 16.968 seconds. 7.3) For now we will assume that banking time for a bot is negligible, although it is likely otherwise (for a human, banking time is over three seconds). We will round the time for one load to between 17-18 seconds. 7.4.1) There are 3,600 seconds in an hour, so 3,600 seconds ÷ 17 seconds per load x 420 prayer xp per load = 88,941 xp per hour. 7.4.2) There are 3,600 seconds in an hour, so 3,600 seconds ÷ 18 seconds per load x 420 prayer xp per load = 84,000 xp per hour. 7.5) It may or may not be possible to obtain between 84,000 - 88,941 prayer xp per hour from botting. Therefore, even though the possibility that Arkhie could have botted at this point in time for so long is nearly impossible, it is necessary to account for this possibility because the projected xp rates are close to that of what she would need (84,449 xp per hour). 8) Conclusion. There are two possible scenarios to explain this problem. Arkhie is very, very, very likely to have been P2P (I would say 95-100%), or in the other case Arkhie may have botted the xp (0-5%). In either case we would never be able to add this player to the list. Any further questions? Otherwise, this case is closed and not to be revisited. Don't flame Arkhie or anything - she asked not to be on the list anyway.
  12. Plasma_2, I found myself in a similar situation, but the trolololol part was that everyone caught the scammer and looted the phr33 rune drop party (I think I must have made 174K or so lol). Cheers to everyone who banked their 99s before February.
  13. Will miss you Ani! Stop by sometime to chat.
  14. This is besides the point, but I've actually clocked at 52kph at ankous myself with addy arrows + flash prayer, and this is before AoZ so that drops it to 14 hours. Still a lot, I will admit. We did manage to prove Crime Essam's botting case with your idea though.

  17. My newest research project is almost complete! Dungeoneering Data is an analysis of F2P dungeoneering xp rates and includes a bestiary! The spreadsheet is here for anyone to browse, but below are a few screenshots of the project. Currently I have collected data from 158 floors, and the project will be complete once I have data from 200 floors. [hide=Pics (KPH means XP in 1000's per hour)] [/hide]
  18. I know you mentioned that you don't want to superheat, but superheating is the way to be. I superheated - there isn't really a better method besides high-alch, but you'll likely want to superheat for smithing anyway, which conveniently gets your mage up to 99 anyway. At least, that's how I did it, so I found no need to to high-alch. Also, thanks everyone for the early gratz!
  19. Hey guys, A very long, hard journey is about to come to a close. I am getting 99 prayer on Friday May 20 at 4:30 PM EST! Come join us on World 113 at the Port Sarim altar. The time so far is tentative, but I hope to see you there!

  21. Yeah. This is one of the MANY areas that Jagex really fails at. The sad thing is that they aren't even willing to admit it. Anywhere up to an entire 30-50% of the population playing at any given time are bots (This is evident for many hours after an update is released). This compromises legit players' experiences - both in competition for raw materials and in being accused to no end for botting by stupid kids who know nothing. I can go on and on about other things that Jagex needs to fix, and the heaps of lies/biased statistics that they continually put forward, but there's no point in doing so and that would take hours. This game has been falling to pieces for a very long time - that basically sums up my opinion. I also have a Jagex Popularity Vote going here: http://forum.tip.it/topic/291895-jagex-popularity-vote/ Of 64 members so far, only 52% have responded positively. They're relatively weak statistics, but if only half the population of players have a supportive attitude for Jagex there's definitely a problem.
  22. There's a couple worlds that are so amazing I can't say them in public for fear of a noob invasion (A lot of people here probably already know, but what the heck). Add me in-game and I'll gladly tell you! EDIT: Nvm, I think ranqe basically covered it already.
