Its impossible for plasma to have viscosity. Even if what you were talking about was possible it would require about five powerstation to work, lasers that can burn require huge amount of power to work. This is my last post as this is boring.

So..... if someone fires a big bullet at you only the outside will be burnt and it'll probably still hit or if they do something really fast. If you were to fire a bullet through a laser it would probably be ever so slightly melted but not to the extent your on about with a ridiculous amount of power.

They are going to your ubershields. You know that they won't stop bombs and such - they are just heat.

But it doesn't exist in the way your going to use it, as a super powerful forcefield you put around your ship.

Theoretically! and so if someone sends in one guy and cuts that little wire sending electricity to it you have no shields.

Ok in real life they only exist in really small places, they can't stop any solid matter getting through as they are pretty weak and if you were to make them strong they would require thousands of volts of electricity and what would they become, your magic if someone attacks you everyone dies shield.

That doesn't make them an energy field at all, plasma shields are theoretical shields that could probably stop dust getting somewhere. And Archi, this is meant to be real.

Actual shields are impossible and plasma shields are useless.
