  1. It probably does but moderating with a group of people who keep asking. How do I do this? How do I do that? is this ok? How long would this take? Don't you think thats a bit long? Waaaaaa! Waaaaaa! Waaaa! and i'm ok with that its a bit annoying, its helpful to talk as it kind of tells them whats ok and whats not. What I hate most is under enthusiastic people, the rest of the people are like "i'm America" and then they do absoloutly nothing! I think moderating on a forum like this (with a hegemony like the one I have set up) would be a lot easier because people know exactly how to play and people aren't afraid to help although they are albiet a bit more harsh on people. "Can I play" "Yes, but if you attempt to expand our megalliance will CRUSH you!"
  2. Moderation is just too hard, this is reffering to my own hegemony.
  3. Ok yeh, i'm going to need about three players though otherwise its not fun.
  4. Session tonight.?
  5. in a game morality doesn't matter if it has gains money, just imagine the perfect factory where I could prouduce whatever I wanted in such a short time. Productivity would be up 100% Bombs under citys, whats wrong with that really? Ross - the most likely person to attack me in the game would be in the palm of my hand, I could ask for whatever I wanted off him and if he refused I could destroy him, it would remove the threat of him attacking me aswell. Also, Jong was a character - that doesn't show anything. Edit: must read the Bluejay chronicles they look quite good.
  6. Oh, Ok.
  7. I don't understand?
  8. I meant.... Now I am!
  9. Omg, I am over 9000 I win the game, life and everything!
  10. My reading list for he next week. The Da Vinci code by Dan Brown Hannibal Rising by Thomas harris. The Double Tap by Stephen Leather. Then a triology of the Simon Scarrow books about 'the eagle'
  11. Are you talking about agent 15? that was Mathers and it was completly real.
  12. I do. I also do. In theory everyone has a perfect mind, even someone with a disability because there is no such measure of perfection. I don't really care about asexuality and really only want to talk about hegemony, Ross I think your a really late bloomer or gay (but can't admit it to yourself). Rocco, are you talking about the researching thing?
  13. Whats stupid about this thread? Fine, no more random explosions. Thery'll be a session tonight. So Nex, mather and Earth (seens as there is no random killing)
  14. Fine if everyone hates the killing thing i'll remove it, the bombs will only detonate if the saboutoer reveals himself or if people go on different people choose to play. be back in 30 mins.
  15. I won't munchkin kill anyone but I may do it if the game gets boring, and if the viewing public get bored lol :). I reckon its going to need atleast four people.
  16. Thats the point of the game, you need to live in anyway possible, stop coming on my threads and posting saying no, this is the third time you've done it.
  17. Reported for bypassing the censors.
  18. Higher post count = Higher intelligence
  19. The Room, my first game on this board is now open from 7-9 every night and a bit earlier in the next week. Your trapped in a room, one ways out; every other way leads to your death one person wants to keep you in the room and the rest want to help you out. Try and exit.
  20. Hello and welcome to The Room, this is a game of skill and patience and a challenge for anyone who enters. You and the others are placed in a room with four doors, one of the doors leads to salvation but the other three lead to a slow painful death. You have to work out which door to step through. One member of the group is chosen as a saboteur, they will attempt to guide you all through the wrong doors, if they suceed they make it out alive. Each of you is fitted with a bomb somewhere inside your body, you do not know where it is; I can randomly detonate it if I wish to and will also detonate the one in the sabouters body if he is revealed, if the saboteur is found two people are allowed to leave. If you read the signs, read the people and get a stroke of luck you will live, if not you will die, if anyone chooses to take a different path everyone will die. One of the players will be randomly PMed to be the saboteur, this is completly random. This is a freeform roleplay with no 'turns' or stats but to walk through the door you must take three different steps/posts. It would be advised to first talk a bit to try and find the sabotuer out. The session will run usually at 7-9 GMT and points of wins and deaths will be logged. [hide=players] Name Wins Losses [/hide] Good luck.
  21. the point i'm trying to make is that the statement is not true for everything, humans are evolved to enjoy it - only cultural situtations would stop that. Also, would this statement work. "You can keep all of the people content all of the time" ?
  22. No, they'd all still enjoy it.
  23. You were never in hegemony v1, you joined in late early v2.
  24. Icu, you played when it went all crappy.
  25. I object! You can please all of the people all of the time: its called sex. In hegemony thats not true, "you can please all of the people all of the time until people come up with new systems" The point is, everyone was happy with v1, it had some flaws; thats true but v1 was most fun.
