Hegemony
Country: Congo Player: Hextriplet Leader name: later National Anthem: later Random fact: Now AIDs free! IAG: - Treasury: - Infrastructure: - Archi, are we going to get rebbelions on how we treat our people? I start work on changing the school system so that it's more technology based, they will learn maths writing (dropped third year) programming engineering robotics history (filtered) I bring in no tolerance gun laws and have a gun amnesty. I begin work on gunwalker technology (1/30) and extremly light but powerful body armour. (1/15)

Archi, thats ok then. I choose Congo. Trol, thats not a problem. We just ignore that and it doesn't effect anyone. Can we have no stupid NWO and things like that.

Africa's a contienent but all of the african countrys are tiny, if you look at Russia which is one country its fine. Also, for the sake of the thread borders won't last anyway.

Edit, I agree Archi but can you do a rule against having techs that are theorys. People are just using this to let them get whatever they want. And I call dibs on africa unless we are playing super realisticly and africa's a third world country, then I call dibs on Greenland. I prefer GDP actually, the economy was already ok. The only problem was combat

Archimage, why did you post in The tip.it hegemony saying lack of intrest will mean a lock??? Lack of intrest everwhere else doesn't constitute a lock, why do you keep trying to delay the hegemony coming back?

Paul, the new hegemony thats just been created is 21st century Apparently a historic hegemony wouldn't work :L You just use logic to decide who wins in battles and say things like. "Your people rebel, Dusty because your mean to them" randomly or if you think people would be outraged (Don't do this often though)

No, we're having a comprimise by having a mod. The old rules are that you can attack anyone whenever.

Zombie Plans-Revised
How about razor, barbed wire. Hide in a forest and place it everywhere, its pretty hard to break and for a zombie you have enough time to run before it gives way.

The Tip.It hegemony
Note: We can't actually do any warfare until we get a moderator so can someone please volunteer, I calls dibs on greenland. Hello and welcome to the fourth instalment of the hugely popular, Tip.It Hegemony; a text based strategy game. You are given the leadership of a country in which you can control and use it to compete with other countries. As the leader of your country you can research technologies and build armies in an attempt to outcompete other countries. Current War Moderator: Someone needs to volunteer [hide=how to work out your money] Once you have your planet you need to work out how much money you have to spend. First you need to work out the average of what people earn in your country in US dollars; this will always start at $20’000 and then increase as there is more education. This is called GDP per capita. Then you need to work out your population, this will start at 10’000’000 and then increase every year, this will increase if you issue a condom ban or baby making campaigns but will usually just go up over time as your population increases. GDP per capita*Population = your money. You will need to then work out how much money you have paid[/hide] 1. Instead of arguing to decide the winner of a battle a moderator is selected to decide who wins during these battles, they are not allowed to play The moderator also decides events such as rebellion/strikes/work-increases/events based on how the people in the country would feel. 2. Research takes time and money 3. one days = One year in the hegemony 4. No WMD’s that leave fallout or causes damage to an area over a long time 5. No colonisation of diffrent planets [hide=Here is the map] [/hide]

Dusty, he seems fairly placid and a good moderator if he wants to do it. Trol, he seems placid and would make a good moderator. I'm not placid but I could moderate. Earth could do it. Theres tons of good moderators. If there was a problem in hegemony v3, back to old rules - they were the best then.

I don't see why we closed down the third hegemony? Closing down something to argue is stupid, this hegemony shoudln't close, if people are sick of it they can leave.

I'd love to play that, we could also do things like 'how much awarness have you got of your brand' and things. It reminds me of the flash game, final ninja.

Lol :) We should do the wiki but lets not make it an extremly important part of the hegemony, we don't need anything but a calculator and a map. Lets keep it that way. Rocco, if you want to start it just post the code in a new thread. [hide] Hello and welcome to the fourth instalment of the hugely popular, Tip.It Hegemony; a text based strategy game.
