  1. Thanks dude, Runescape seems to be a game of who is most efficient with their time. :P
  2. I decided to start a blog so that I can record my progress through this game, and so that you guys can help me out! This is my first blog so give me tips :) I play Runescape a bit differently than everyone else, I can't just stay and do one thing over and over again, so I switch it up. Therefore my blog is very... diverse. :D This is me! I wear some pretty random stuff. These are my stats as of 9/13/10. As you can tell I'm not very dedicated. :P This is my bank. It is very unimpressive and disorganized. :) My long term goals are to: Buy: Guthans, whip, and DFS Get a good clue reward Get all stats to 70 Get a combat of 100 9/14/10 [HIDE] I started off today training agility, idk why I did haha. I did get one level though. Then I got sent home by a revenant. :/ Gotta hate those dudes. After that I went and played some pest control with my friend Luke. Pc was fun, but we lost some so we decided to chill at my house. Then Luke left. So I decided to go kill Jellies for a Level 3 clue. I got the clue easy enough. It was about 12 steps in the trail, had to kill 3 saradomin wizards, and got this amazing reward, worth a whopping 100k :/ That pissed me off pretty bad so I quit for the night. :P [/HIDE] 9/15/10 [HIDE] Started off by Killing Jellies for clues. Lets just say I spent a long time with no clue drop. Just 2 Rune fulls. Then 76 Range :D After meeting a new friend and 2 hours of no clue, I gave up and went and got a burrito. Not just any burrito, a 5 Layer Burrito from Taco bell for only 99 cents. That's a deal. :P When I got back from my Burrito eating, turns out my friend got his clue, so i decided to just kill a few more Jellies. Got my clue on the 5th one. That burrito changed my luck I swear. But then my luck got shot down in an instant with this amazing return from a level 3 clue. After this fail I went and did homework because PreCal is so much better than that clue reward. :([/HIDE] 9/16/10 [Hide]Today I decided to start getting those strange rocks for the statue thing at the Museum. I got my mining ones really easy, and used the ores to get the Smithing ones. I also got 59 smithing in the process. :) Then I tried to get the fishing ones. It took me a while to figure out that you can only get the rocks from net or cage. *Facepalm* I also got a mime random event. Reminds me of the goold ole days haha. Then I logged out for a little and logged back in to find myself kicked out of the fishing guild. I guess admiral pie doesnt keep you in there. :P [/HIDE]
  3. Sure you don't want to cut willows? Yews will take forever.
  4. I used this method today for about an hour and made 600k. Best of my rewards were Zammy Page 1, Sara Page 3, Willow comp bow, and black heraldic sheild. I really enjoy this method because its a lot more interesting than mining pure essence, and a lot less time consuming. This will be great for the school year when I only have about an hour to devote to Runescape a day, just to build up my cash resources.

    Fletching Cape.

I think any skill that is 99 is an impressive feat, just because its easier than other skills doesn't mean it doesnt take a lot of time to get.
  6. After a long break I'm getting members back this week. What should I do? What has changed? Whats new? I think i've been away since farming came out. If you want my stats my rs name is sodo00.
  7. Im 92 woodcut and I get slow yews. Don't get your hopes up and stop training wc. Unless your in it for the skill cape like me. :)
  8. I'm level 92 and currently f2p (for a little while). In f2p I am usually the most powerful person in FoG and that presents me with the ability to stand in the middle and take hit after hit from a level 40 without dying. I can get around 1600-2000 charges just standing. What I hate about this is when the level 40 thinks, "I can win this, if I just run around the edges!". No. I will still find you, it may waste 10 minutes tracking you down, but you will still lose. The thing about runners is that in f2p all they end up doing is wasting my time and only getting about 600 charges. tl;dr. Runners are a waste of time when tactics still don't let them achieve victory.
  9. Now that pre paid cards have been added to the plethera of ways to become a member, I see no reason to be f2p. $22 for 90 days of membership may be a tad more but it eliminates the problem of not having a creditcard. Don't give the excuse of not having the money, anyone who has a computer should be able to round up 20 bucks every 3 months.
