lmao, wanted to give feedback without being constructive, so basically you just said that you wanted to insult his picture and tell him whats wrong with it but not how to fix it. You did give him tips on how to fix it, though, so that comment made no sense at all. Sounds like you wanted to be harsh but fell short. btw, i don't notice much pillow shading, if any at all. So i'm not quite getting what you're saying there either.

Nadril, i'd love to see you calculate how far a ball drops in 34.6643 seconds. i know a lot of people can't do this, but does that make it art? no. So was this even necessary in your opinion, or is it just to protect your feeling of superiority (i made up a word since i don't know the real word to fit there.) this is were he actually stood up for his opinion. Wouldn't it be just easier to state this, rather than trying to make my view on things look stupid, because they disagree with his?

Ryan, i think you missread what i typed, or i just said it wrong. I wasn't talking about getting flamed on my opinions about landscapes and abstract sigs (btw, i was talking about brushed abstracts, where people use other's brushes. if they make their own it always looks so much nicer because of originality.) I never said anything about 3d renders (unless you count TG renders), i know how hard it can be to make an original one, so please don't put words into my mouth. i was talking about this

I don't understand why some of the stuff on this forum is considered art. 1 thing i don't get is a landscape. Typing a few calculations into a random terrain generator then adding a few surface textures is not art. Where is the creativity? Another thing i see that people call "gfx art" or whatever are abstract sigs. I think they look cool, but i don't consider them art because there is no creativity. seeing 1 billion things that all look the same, how amusing. just thought i'd post my opinions. I'd like to hear yours too, so please post.
