no, i don't think he is right. I'm a bit different than the other people who disagree with him, because i don't try to shoot down anyones opinions or make myself look like an [wagon]. People seem unable to express their opinion without flaming, and that's what results in topics like this. But for me, i'm not going to argue either way. famous people? for some reason this seems rediculous to me. Just another way to provoke people to buy sigs from certain people. I'm not saying its bad, but when i see competitions with great pixel sigs, and then a "famous person" enters a sig that is way below their skill level, you can almost guarentee the 'celebrity' :roll: will win.

if you were going for a lifelike look, i would suggest looking at some tutorials (deviantart has some of the best for this kind of thing) and tons of practice. i like the second one, it has a funny cartoony look (sorry if you take that as an insult)
