I found that using Fire Bolt on iron dragons (using sol/chaos gaunts though) made me some cash. The Mage Training Arena, if you choose to get either infinity boots or the mage book, does make some cash.

I'm just using fire bolt there, at 81 mage, and it's going pretty well. I get ~3 kills per anti fire dose, with ahrim's hood+top, and dagonhai bottom (sol, god cape, glory, chaos gaunts, seers ring, mystic boots, anti drag shield).

I like to do combat magic. I'm currently fire bolting iron dragons for 82 mage, from 78, and it's working out nicely. If you don't mind making a ton of astral runes (last I saw, they didn't sell on the ge), hunter kits are a viable option.

I'll probably get a rapier myself. Also, is a maul worth it at all? I don't do much in the way of bosses yet (only 107+8 combat) and I don't camp waterfiends for hours upon end.

I don't do much maging, honestly, but I might start, so I'll probably get that a lil later. I thought the gravite and other stuff wasn't worth it. I've been reading that topic, and it looks like the rapier does more damage over the same amount of time. But, it also looks like the long is good for bosses, so I dunno which to get still.

Which rewards should I get? I know a cls/cr/cm, the scroll of life, the bone crusher, the gem bag/coal bag, the totem, and an arcane stream. However, are the two prayers, the tome of frost, the mercenary's gloves, and the different shields worth the cost? I'm assuming the longbow sight, the gravite weaps (debatable, I could use in f2p if I went somewhere with a friend), the lower arcane's, and the nature and law staves are not good at all. My friend says to get the chaotic long because the rapier looks like a toothpick, and they hit around the same anyways. Is he right, to get the long? I'm not much for bosses, but that's because I can't get to any yet. So, in your opinion (no hating on others because they say something else) which is better? EDIT: I did read this, but I'm still confused as to which one to choose. :P

That...probably is it. Uhm, is there a way to tell when he's going to use his melee attack or his mage attack? When I'm melee'ing him, that is. I can tell when I'm ranging him. EDIT: sd, fixed screan.

Ok, so I decided to go to Tormented Demons again, but I can only get 2 kills per trip, and I think I'm doing something wrong. Stats: 85 Attack 85 Strength 81 Defense 83 Range 76 Prayer 70 Summoning Equipment: Nezzy helm Glory Karil's top/bottom D boots Soulwars Cape Rune Crossbow Broad Bolts DFS Barrows Gloves Ring of Life Inventory: 4 pray pots 1 Super Attack 1 Super Strength 1 Range potion House tele tab Darklight Whip Sapphire Lantern Tort and rest of inv of monkfish. Is there anyway I can improve on this setup? I don't have claws/any godsword, and I don't really want to borrow one. I also only have the charms for 74 summoning, currently. Thanks in advance!

Is it profitable in the long run to just make tons of money some other way now, and get turmoil/overloads (or one or the other) and then powerslay? Or should I continue on with piety and such now, while making some cash from farming/dailies?

I now finally have the levels, items, and quests to use this guide (Well, not 78 summoning or As a First Resort, since that looks horrible and I'll do it later) and I'm aiming to see what I get out of this. Looks nice! Thanks!

Hmm, I'll try to get that some time later then. It really depends. If you do multiple farm runs every day, you can easily sustain it at any level. If you don't, you'll be hurting real quick. It gets easier and cheaper the higher your slayer level is (up to 93). You'll still use protection prayers on tasks you would normally use them on, like dark beasts, black demons, etc. Multiple like 3 or 4? Ok dokie then, thanks. Hmm, that's not much, but any little bit helps. Sorry, I should've clarified that it does indeed profit in the long term, but I highly recommend doing farm runs so that a streak of bad tasks doesn't cripple your bank. Of course. Good advice. So, it's basically praying piety on all tasks with a combat familiar and/or a cannon? No protection prayers what so ever? Also, does it make money, or does it mostly lose it? Thanks also. :P

So, I've heard of powerslaying, but I have no idea what it is. So, if you could enlighten me, that would be nice. Also, would it be viable at my levels? I've got 83 attack, 85 strength, 80 defense, 75 prayer, 78 magic, 83 range, 74 slayer. I also have a few mil cash to spend (not much, but all my cash is in my gear). My normal gear is: Void range/melee Nezzy Full slayer helm Glory Torag's top Verac's skirt D boots Barrows Gloves DFS/Rune def Whip/D scimmy Obby cape (Going to get a fire cape/soul wars cape/probably a skill cape one of these days) Warriors ring I also have proselyte, a cannon, some cannonballs, Karils (for ranging/waterfends), Seers ring, and an Archers ring.
